Colebrook's expression was widely accepted despite the obvious difference between laboratory water flow ... conditions and the real ones in water supply systems. Our analyses were performed by the in-situ approcah with data collected from real water supply system pipes, parallel to the analyses of water losses in the Slovenian water supply system.
