Full productivity of work resources in a transport labour market is a very significant macro-economic goal. In order to achieve it, it is necessary to know the specific qualities of the transport ...labour market and the human potentials of the transport system. It is therefore necessary to research the tipology of the transport labour market, to classify the jobs and to explore the correlation between the internal and the external transport labour market. The presented information is based on scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, mathematical programming, mathematical modelling, etc.). It represents a quality starting point for achieving an efficient combination of resources in a transport labour market. The use of computer applications in the function of correct distribution of employees per their qualification structure is presented with an Excel calculation table obtained by the linear programming method.
