Crosslinking of ▫$\beta$▫-CD on cotton using n-methylol-acrylamide and fixation agent based on aminoplast

In our research the pigment printing system agents to crosslink the beta-cyclodextrin on cotton was used. After the impregnation of scoured and bleached woven cotton samples in solution containing ...beta-cyclodextrin, N-methylol-acrylamide (medium product for binders) and a pigment printing fixation agent of different concentrations the samples were dried and cured at different temperatures. The laundry washing processes in 1, 3, 5 and 10 cycles was applied to test the stability of the crosslinking. Tests with ATR FTIR spectroscopy and phenolphtalein have confirmed that the curing process starts at 150oC. The best results were obtained when a high concentration of the fixation agent in the treating baths (above 100 g/l) were used.
It was not necessary to add the material to the shelf.
