Service life prediction on the bases of vibroacoustics responses as a part of the maintenance process

The purpose of maintenance is to discover, to diagnose, to foresee and to predict service life, to prevent and to eliminate damages, with the aim to maintain the technical system in the most suitable ...working condition. The problem of determining the service life is directly related to geometry, multiaxial loadings, materials and appropriate models for prediction of the crack propagation. The more precise modelling of these input parameters, the more precise and reliable the results are. Therefore, we will present models and procedures for valuation of the signals and on the base of this for calculations service life, remain service life and/or service control cycle for gearboxes.
