Abstract The analysis of morphological and common features of 20 types insects entering to Pyraloidea superfamily and occurring in Uzbekistan region has been carried out. Their belonging to 2 families (Pyralidae and Crambidae) has been revealed which future to 3 and 6 subfamilies have been subdivided, correspondingly. The information on the morphological features for 3 types from revealed insects has been presented and general features of these insects have been outlined. For example, it has been shown that each insect type damages essentially one concrete agricultural plant that is the monophagous of these insects has been defined.
