In this works Fränkel tries to reconstruct the lost sources from the period of Alexander the Great and his successors, analyzing the existing texts of the ancient authors, at the first place that of Arrian, Diodor, Plutarch, and Curtius Rufus.- Studija o izvorima antičkih istoričara koji su pisali o Aleksandru Velikom. Studiju je napisao filolog i istoričar Artur Frenkel (1852–1923).
