  • Dialectical soft system approach to research and innovations management
Klinar, Dušan, 1957- ; Čelan, Štefan
Requisite soft system approach can enable management to form a vision as to how some required results of the research could be achieved. A dialectical approach should be developed to pool possible ... solutions and combinations for final convergence. The act of final convergence should be postponed as long as possible to keep all possibilities open. The process of selecting and constructiong final solutions from opened possibilities and available resources should be managed entrepreneurially. In our approach, management is participatory. Participants are organised as a coalition selected and integrated on the basis of their interest and not a common one. Organosational structure is informal and based on organisational innovations. The concept of management is formed on a base of Dialectiacal systems theory (DST). Priority is given to some subjective starting points of participants and ethics of interdependence to assure requisite holism. The general concept of this approach is based on the postulate of DST.
