    Regarding the existing problems of de-husking buckwheat and the great interest in finding successful de-husking method - and its practical realization as a commercially available de-husking machine - ... we combine the food production demands with the constructional possibilities from the mechanical engineer's point of view. The idea for developing a new de-husking solution is based firstly on already existing commercially available devices which function on the principle of projecting the cereal grains against the abrasive surface, thus causing the separation of the husk from the groats. From this well-proven principle a further modification was made by replacing the rebounding ring surface with a wire net which would stop only the husk and in such a way improve the de-husking yield. If this solution is experimentally proven to be more advantageous and to make the de-husking process simpler at a lower construction cost, then it will be developed according to an operational principle based on pressing the buckwheat grains againgst a wire mesh.
