    To give the people opportunity to gather the information about their exposureto EMF, an environmental map of the EMF would be useful. When preparing the map, the needed data could be gathered either ... by measurements or numerical calculations. We estimated it would be more suitable to use numerical calculations, since it is nearly impossible to measure EMF in enough different points. In the study, the available geographical data were analyzed, such as relief and the cadastre of the buildings and custom algorithms were prepared to transform them to the format needed for the program package for numerical calculation. The calculations take into consideration technical data of the sources, relief and buildings. Calculations were done for area size of 2000 m x 1750 m with 10 base stationsin the city of Ljubljana. The results were represents as electric field strength at the height of 1 m above ground level and at the average height of antenna. The greatest difficulty when preparing the map is lack of the technical data of the EMF sources, however we met also the limitations of software too, especially considering the total number of the buildings.
