  • Shopping patterns of older consumers in Slovenian clothes market

    The purpose of the research presented in this paper was to describe the clothes buying patterns of older consumers in Slovenia. We collected the results of 271 older consumers of apparel through ... multiplicity sample. Respondents were divided on the base of professional and social activity into four groups in the field of clothes shopping. Seven aspects of clothes consumer behaviour was examined: where do our respondents buy clothes and how often in each retail place, do they like shopping, how often they buy clothes, how much they spend, who/what influence them to buy, who/how influence on their clothing style and other statements about consumer behaviour related with clothes. The results are useful for product, place, price, and promotion management and through this for planning differential marketing mixes for separate older consumer segments.
