    This paper presents the views of lecturers on the implementation of a distance learning program. The authors draw on the experience of forced delivery of the study program in a crisis situation due ... to the covid-19 disease. The changes in lecturers' views over time are taken into account. The aim of the research was to provide guidance to the management of the institution for possible changes in the format of the study program delivery and to obtain guidance in the development of new study programs, with the aim of maximizing the quality of the study program delivery. We found that lecturers' views on the implementation of a distance learning program do not vary statistically significantly over time, and can be used as parameters when considering the implementation or development of a distance learning program. The key findings are that lecturers were perceived to have a very high burden in preparing for the teaching process and a high burden in implementing the teaching process. However, the most frequently cited advantage of distance learning was good and effective communication with students during distance learning.
