  • CAD systems improve reengineering processes

    To keep up with ever-shortening product development cycles, manufacturers are beginning to restructure their development and manufacturing processes around the 3-D data models that are featured in ... recent CAD systems. This has led CAD vendors to improve their products rapidly to keep pace with industry's ever-more challenging demands. Today the main stress is on the information flow and automated harmonization of the information. Part information, not the CAD model, drives the process. The advantage of using the modern applications, brings in the management more quality and exact information. This information gives a support by taking decisions for reingeneering of the product. This is the way to cheaper and quicker reengineering.
