    By modern definition nursing is described as a basic human activity its organized form being one of health disciplines. Nursing basic task is to help individuals and groups (families, communities) ... perform their tasks in various health states as good as possible. Thus, nursing is responsible for man in thetime of health and disease and lasts from conception to death. Nursing is performed by the nurse, in health and sick proteges on all the levels of health activities. She is striving for her performance to be as qualitative aspossible and is led by the professional philosophy aimed at satisfying of the patient protege and at professional development of nursing. Motivation is also an important condition for the quality Herzberg's motivation theory with emphasized motivation factors is mentioned in the contribution. Important motivation factors are: good mutual relationships, team work, independence, contentment of patients, possibility of professional training education, promotion, praise of superiors, respect paid by patients, coworkers and society Research on evaluation of working successfulness, confirmed also the significance of these motivation factors for the satisfaction of nurses at work and for the qualitative performing of nursing.
