    The aim of this research was to determine corrosion resistance of AlMgSi1 alloy exposed to the rain water and washing media. The efficiency of cathodic protection with Zn electrodes in same ... environments was tested. Research showed good resistivity of AlMgSi1 alloy in rain water, where Zn electrode acts as protection, but in washing media the corrosion aggresivity was higher. For that reason it is necessary to reduce the washing time and after washing all surfaces must be rinsed with clear water.
