U ovome se radu na primjeru riječkoga brodogradilišta “3. maj“ obrađuje tema organiziranoga slobodnog vremena u okviru radničkoga samoupravljanja Socijalističke Federativne Republike Jugoslavije ...osamdesetih godina prošloga stoljeća. Prvi se dio rada bavi definiranjem organiziranoga slobodnog vremena te njegovim smještanjem u kontekst brodogradilišta “3. maj“, a drugi se dio rada posvećuje njegovu prikazu iz dviju perspektiva – one radnika s jedne strane, te poduzeća s druge. Cilj je rada prikazati načine provođenja organiziranoga slobodnog vremena trećomajskih radnika, a potom, na osnovi toga, pokazati njegovo značenje kako za radnike, tako i za poduzeće, čime se paralelno razotkrivaju i (ne)posredni razlozi za njegovo poticanje.
In order to achieve a high-quality product, sweet corn should be harvested at the optimal stage of maturity. The taste of sweet corn depends largely on the kernel moisture (KM) and total sugars (TS) ...content while its health properties are attributed to the content of total phenols (TPH) and antioxidant activity (AO). This study aimed to estimate quality in sugary (su1) sweet corn hybrids based on the maximum content of kernel chemical compounds and the content change during maturation. During two growing seasons, five harvests by year were made at 2-day intervals from 17 to 25 days after pollination (DAP). KM decreased among hybrids from 6.6% to 14% over an eight-day period, or 0.8% to 1.8% per day. TS content was the highest at 17 DAP (16.5–28.7 mg/g DW) and decreased during maturation from 27% to 67%. Hybrids differed significantly in TPH at 17 DAP (204.4–357.1 mg GAE/100 g DW). TPH change during maturation ranged from the no significant differences up to a 29.3% decrease. DPPH- radical scavenging activity ranged among genotypes from 52.5% to 74.9% inhibition at 17 DAP and significantly increased during maturation. A well-defined hybrid-specific harvest window is necessary to maintain kernel quality in su1 sweet corn.
Nasal route of administration offers a unique opportunity of brain targeted drug delivery via olfactory and trigeminal pathway, providing effective CNS concentrations at lower doses and lower risk ...for adverse reactions compared to systemic drug administration. Therefore, it has been recently proposed as a route of choice for glucocorticoids to control neuroinflammation processes in patients with severe Covid-19. However, appropriate delivery systems tailored to enhance their efficacy yet need to emerge. In this work we present the development of sprayable brain targeting powder delivery platform of dexamethasone sodium phosphate (DSP). DSP-loaded microspheres, optimised employing Quality-by-Design approach, were blended with soluble inert carriers (mannitol or lactose monohydrate). Powder blends were characterized in terms of homogeneity, flow properties, sprayability, in vitro biocompatibility, permeability and mucoadhesion. Nasal deposition studies were performed using 3D printed nasal cavity model. Mannitol provided better powder blend flow properties compared to lactose. Microspheres blended with mannitol retained or enlarged their mucoadhesive properties and enhanced DSP permeability across epithelial model barrier. DSP dose fraction deposited in the olfactory region reached 17.0% revealing the potential of developed powder platform for targeted olfactory delivery. The observed impact of nasal cavity asymmetry highlighted the importance of individual approach when aiming olfactory region.

In this work we present the development of in situ gelling nanosuspension as advanced form for fluticasone propionate nasal delivery. Drug nanocrystals were prepared by wet milling ...technique. Incorporation of drug nanocrystals into polymeric in situ gelling system with pectin and sodium hyaluronate as constitutive polymers was fine-tuned attaining appropriate formulation surface tension, viscosity and gelling ability. Drug nanonisation improved the release profile and enhanced formulation mucoadhesive properties. QbD approach combining formulation and administration parameters resulted in optimised nasal deposition profile, with 51.8% of the dose deposited in the middle meatus, the critical region in the treatment of rhinosinusitis and nasal polyposis. Results obtained in biocompatibility and physico-chemical stability studies confirmed the leading formulation potential for safe and efficient nasal corticosteroid delivery.
Os sistemas de recomendação, apresentados como uma possibilidade de personalização de informações, podem funcionar no contexto educacional para a construção do processo de aprendizagem e formação de ...usuários, visando o envio de dados (materiais, tipos de conteúdo e estratégias de aprendizagem) que são de interesse. Este trabalho teve como objetivo a construção de uma visão geral dos estudos nacionais que tratam dessa implementação, e também da validação e aplicação de sistemas de recomendação no âmbito educacional nos últimos 7 anos. A análise da revisão sistemática mostrou o modelo Felder-Silverman Learning Styles (FSLSM) e o padrão de metadados IEEE-LOM como as tecnologias mais utilizadas, bem como as técnicas de validação de projetos mais frequentes e outros aspectos gerais do planejamento e do desenvolvimento de sistemas. Os resultados apresentados apontam que, apesar da carência de estudos específicos acerca do uso de sistemas de recomendação para cursos de graduação, a relevância de recursos que melhorem a experiência acadêmica e facilitem o processo de aprendizagem recebe cada vez mais destaque.
