This research is motivated by our curiosity and public anxiety over the various characters of a child or individual in Indonesia. The hope of the community is big enough to make a child or individual ...able to get good character education, so that he becomes a human with character, has noble character and can live his life in accordance with Islamic law. Seeing this, it is necessary to conduct a study of this incident by taking samples from various examples in the community who are or have undergone the process of educating their children. Researchers conducted surveys and asked questions with people around and got various kinds of responses that were quite diverse. To achieve this goal, this research uses qualitative-descriptive research methods with literature study techniques. The results of this study obtained data and facts that character education from an early age is very important, by choosing the right methods according to Islamic teachings so that children become human beings who are educated in faith, science, charity, have broad insight, become good citizens and noble character that can benefit all mankind.

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter kinerja, untuk mengetahui model pendidikan karakter kinerja yang diterapkan pada sekolah menengah, untuk ...mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat terhadap efektivitas model pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan di sekolah menengah agar mengetahui model hipotetik pendidikan karakter kinerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research development (R&D) dari borg & gall. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dengan karakter yang sama di Kuningan yang ditentukan secara propursive sampling sejumlah 120 siswa. Tahapan pengembangan meliputi penelitian pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, rancangan model awal, uji coba pendahuluan & revisi model, uji coba model utama & revisi model II, uji coba operasional revisi model III, model pendidikan karakter kinerja yang sudah di kembangkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model pendidikan karakter kinerja efektif dalam menguatkan karakter kinerja siswa di sekolah, faktor penghambat pembentukan karakter yaitu kurang ada kesadaran dari siswa, faktor keluarga, masyarakat yang kurang mendukung, perkembangan teknologi yang disalahgunakan, dan model pendidikan karakter terbukti dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dan efektif terhadap peningkatan karakter kinerja siswa.
This research aims to develop a model of performance character education, find out the performance character education model applied to middle schools, and determine the inhibiting factors to the ...effectiveness of the character education model applied in middle schools. Also, it aims to know the hypothetical model of performance character education. The method used in this research was research development or research development (R&D) from Borg & Gnall. The subject of this research was SMA/MA Kuningan which was determined by purposive sampling of 120 students. The development stages included information gathering research, planning, initial model design, preliminary testing & model revision, main model testing & model revision II, operational testing & model revision III, and performance character education models. The results of this study indicated that the performance character education model effectively strengthened the performance character of students at school. The inhibiting factors for character building are lack of student awareness, family factors, unsupportive society, misused technological developments, and character education models that have proven to influence student performance character positively and effectively.
The learning climate in the classroom has a very important role in encouraging optimal learning processes in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to look at creating measurements of ...classroom climate, investigate the aspects that influence it and the role of classroom climate in citizenship education lessons in terms of students' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour. This study was a factorial design analysis investigating the role of citizenship education classes in classroom climate, students' knowledge, skills, and dispositions. The sample was conducted on 650 junior high school students with a total of 50 classes. Data analysis used was variability correlation and hierarchical linear model analysis. Findings show that a classroom climate with open discussions has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes in citizenship education subjects, both in the aspects of students' knowledge, attitudes and behaviour. Several aspects that influence the level of reliability of measuring classroom climate are the gender composition in the class, the level of student activity, individual perceptions of learning opportunities, the socioeconomic level of students, the level of student knowledge about citizenship education, and differences in views about class material. Thus, an open classroom climate is able to increase student competence in the field of citizenship education and the reliability of the classroom climate is influenced by various factors, including student characteristics at both the individual and class levels. This research has several limitations, including the survey only focusing on students, not involving variability factors from outside the classroom, and not optimally controlling aspects of student response variability. The findings implied that teachers and stakeholders must pay attention to factors that influence the reliability of classroom climate in order to optimally improve academic competence.
Coal blending technique in electric generating power plant has been widely used to reduce coal consumption cost. However, due to various coals from different places blended together, it had caused ...problems. Slagging formed during the operations can reduced boiler efficiency, resulting high costs for maintenance caused by blockage, corrosion and erosion. Many empirical indices and predictive method have been developed to minimize these problems but most are unreliable for coals from different places and many predictive methods are carried out in different environment. In this research, the method starts from fabricating the pre-blended and in furnace blend techniques at a local coal pulverized power plant. After feeding the coal blends for coal trial burn, the resulting ash deposition are collected at the burner where slagging usually occurs. The raw coals in used and the slagging samples are then characterized and determine their crystalline phase and compositions by using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Sacnning Electron Microscope Energy Dispersive Xray (SEM/EDX). From XRD analysis, compounds such as quartz, cristobalite low and manganosite were found as main species in ash deposition at all location of collected slagging. However, there are also some compound exist at specific location with specific technique being used. In the burner area for pre blended technique, compound Al2SiO5, Mg2Al4Si5, KNO2 and FeO was found, whereas in furnace blend K2Mn2(SO4)3 was found. At bottom part of the furnace, pre-blended graphite was presence and in furnace yield MnO2 and Al2SiO5. At top part where superheater reside, the existence of mullite, Al2(Al2.5Si1.5)9.75 was found for pre-blended technique and microcline, KAlSiO3O8 is observed from in furnace blend technique. From the EDX analysis, in furnace technique shows more complete combustion and feasible for less slagging inside the furnace compared to pre-blended technique.
Choosing a code when interacting is one of the opportunities that a bilingual has. Code-switching is usually used by bilinguals when interacting with the other person. This study tries to find the ...types of code-switching and the categories of reasons for using code-switching in lecturer- students’ interactions in thesis exams. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data was in the form of utterances obtained from recorded interactions of five thesis examination sessions in the English undergraduate program at Syiah Kuala University. The data was analyzed through several processes, including transcribing, data condensation, identifying, marking, grouping, displaying data, and making inferences. The data was analyzed using the theory proposed by Stockwell and Hoffman. From the analysis, it was found that there are three types of code-switching, namely tag switching, inter-sentential, and intra-sentential. Related to the categories of reasons for using code-switching, the researcher found 5 from 7 reasons to do code-switching in lecturer-students’ interaction in thesis examination. The researcher hoped that the next researcher will further analyze the code-switching that occurs in the thesis exam, not only analyzing the types of code-switching and the reasons for using code-switching, but also analyzing the other side of linguistics.
This research explores the integration of character education, specifically focusing on drawing inspiration from the abundant cultural wisdom embedded in Mamanda theater—an invaluable cultural asset ...in South Kalimantan. The central aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of utilizing Mamanda’s theater arts as a catalyst for collaborative character-building within the realm of education. The collaborative characters, symbolic of the harmonious dynamics inherent in the learning process, undergo evaluation through the implementation of a Likert scale. The research encompasses a cohort of 83 students, all actively engaged as respondents. The outcomes highlight the notably high effectiveness of incorporating Mamanda’s theater arts to facilitate the collaborative character-building endeavor. Beyond its immediate findings, this research contributes substantively to the ongoing academic dialogue surrounding character education. Moreover, it serves as a valuable resource for educators and lecturers, offering insights into the practical application of local wisdom, specifically through Mamanda theater, to instill character traits firmly rooted in cultural richness and educational excellence.
The purpose of this present study is to identify the Tyler curriculum development model and its implications in learning Islamic Religious Education in school. This study employed a qualitative ...approach and literature study method. The results of this study showed that the conditions as the time progresses undeniably were in demands of curriculum development. The Tyler curriculum model had its own strengths and weaknesses. In fact, the model only emphasized the aspect of objectives, regardless of the ongoing educational process. Therefore, as an implication, it is obvious that the Tyler curriculum development model needed to be developed and it in fact should be viewed from various aspects, especially with regard to Islamic Religious Education which had its own distinguishing characteristics in establishing the values of faith, piety, and noble character. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education teaching and learning processes undeniably should focus on the ongoing educational processes, not merely to the evaluation held at the end of the learning process.
Strengthening spiritual values through the dimensions of tasawwuf learning is one of the efforts to improve changes in students' moral mentality. Sheikh Ali Jum'ah as a charismatic cleric at Al-Azhar ...University and a former Mufi of Egypt, one of the international scholars who payed attention to the discourse, according to him, instilling modern Sufistic values of Sufism in the young generation can be a supporter of forming a young age who is religious and has good intellect. This article aims to examine and explore the Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah to increase individual piety and discuss the relevance of its Sufistic theory to the learning of Islamic Religious Education in Higher Education. Using a literature review approach, his works are collected from various sources and studied interactively through the Islamic studies approach. The primary reference source is his work entitled At-Tharīq Ilā Allah, while the second reference refers to other books. The Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah is built on six main principles where the axis is Allah Al-Makshd Al-Kulli. At the practical level, repentance, tafakkur, tadabbur, and consistency in dhikr are the primary tools for ma'rifatullah. Manhaj, the existence of a Murshid and a Salik are the essential pillars in the world of Sufism. Its sufistic relevances in PAI learning which substantially impacts on strengthening the five main components, namely learning objectives, learning materials, learning approaches, lecturers, and students in higher education.Abstrak: Memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritualitas melalui dimensi pembelajaran tasawwuf merupakan salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki perubahan mentalitas akhlak pada siswa. Syeikh Ali Jum’ah sebagai ulama kharismatik Universitas Al-Azhar dan manfat Mufi Mesir salah satu ulama internasional yang menaruh perhatian terhadap diskurus tersebut dimana menurutnya menanamkan nilai-nilai sufistik tasawwuf modern terhadap generasi muda dapat menjadi penyokong membentuk generasi muda yang religius serta memiliki intelektualitas baik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah serta menjelajahi konsep sufistik Alī Jum’ah dalam rangka meningkatkan kesalehan individu serta mengkaji relevansi teori sufistiknya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Perguruan Tinggi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan literature review, karya-karya beliau dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber serta dianalisis secara interaktif melalui pendekatan Islamic studies. Sumber rujukan primer diambil dari karyanya berjudul At-Tharīq Ilā Allah sedangkan rujukan sekunder merujuk kepada kitab-kitab yang lainnya. Konsep Sufistik Alī Jum’ah dibangun atas enam kaidah utama dimana porosnya adalah Allah Al-Makshūd Al-Kulli. Tataran praktisnya, aktivitas taubat, tafakkur, tadabbur, dan konsistensi dalam dzikir menjadi alat utama menuju ma’rifatullah. Manhaj, keberadaan Mursyid dan Seorang Salik merupakan rukun-rukun esensial dalam dunia tasawwuf. Relevansi sufistiknya dalam pembelajaran PAI berdampak kuat terhadap penguatan empat komponen utama yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dosen, serta mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi.
Tulisan ini mengambil topik tentang wacana pemikiran dan gerakan Pan Islamisme di Indonesia pada perempat pertama abad ke-20. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah bagaimana konsepsi Pan Islamisme menurut ...kaum muslim Indonesia dan bagaimana bentuk aksi-aksi Pan Islamisme yang pernah mereka lakukan, baik dalam negeri maupun di luar negeri.
Metode yang dipakai dalam penulisan tulisan ini adalah metode sejarah. Metode ini meliputi empat tahapan, yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi.
Pemikiran dan gerakan Pan Islamisme di Indonesia dilandasi oleh kesadaran kaum muslim untuk mewujudkan persatuan dan kesatuan umat Islam. Di dalam negeri, keinginan itu diupayakan dalam Kongres Al-Islam Hindia Timur. Dalam kongres ini berkumpul sejumlah organisasi massa Islam. Mereka melakukan dialog keagamaan guna mencari akar-akar persamaan di antara mereka, dan memahami perbedaan masing-masing dalam soal-soal agama yang bersifat cabang. Sementara itu, di luar negeri, kaum muslim Indonesia merasa perlu melibatkan diri dalam pergerakan khilafah dan persoalan tanah suci Makkah-Madinah yang dibicarakan pada tahun 1926 lewat Kongres Islam Sedunia yang di selenggarakan di Timur Tengah. Keterlibatan mereka dalam persoalan-persoalan Dunia Islam ini sebagai bagian dari usaha kaum muslim Indonesia untuk turut aktif dalam mempersatukan umat Islam sedunia.
