The focus of this examination is on Hegel’s Lectures on the Philosophy of History, particularly the final chapters in which, among other things, Hegel posits that no change in legal freedoms can be ...expected without the liberation of conscience and that it is illusory to expect the revolution to succeed if it is not preceded by religious reformation. It is an attempt to critically rethink Hegel’s views on reformation, revolution and history in the light of modern religious, theological, philosophical, political, scientific and cultural theses and research. The philosophy of history is observed as something of a key to understanding Hegel’s (often hermetic) philosophical ideas. At the same time, his brilliant insights are reimagined in the context of the contemporary revival of the phenomena of religion/faith.
Rad želi interpretirati zabilježene načine komuniciranja čovjeka s Bogom. Pristup je u interpretaciji mediološki, odnosno iz perspektive filozofije medija. Želi se postaviti pitanje jezika, odnosno ...medija komunikacije, između čovjeka i Boga te otkriti razlog zašto je i kako je Bog jezikom komunicirao s ljudima. Je li to odredilo povijest ljudskih vjerovanja, odnosno oblik utemeljenja religija Knjige? Suvremena pomjeranja interesa religijskih hijerarhija prema političkome u sumnju stavljaju vjeru utemeljenu na jezičnom iskazu. Medij komuniciranja s Bogom u pitanje stavlja i odrednicu predodžbe kao oblika samospoznaje apsoluta. Je li jezik stranputica u ljudskoj komunikaciji s Bogom? Koje su konzekvence pristajanja uz jezik kao oblik komunikacije sa Svevišnjim?
The paper wants to interpret the recorded ways of communication between human beings and God. The approach to interpretation is mediological, that is, from the standpoint of the philosophy of media. ...It intends to ask the question about language, the medium of communication between human beings and God, and discover a reason why and how did God communicate with humans. Did that define the history of human’s belief and does it represents a form of foundation for religions of the Book? Contemporary tendencies of religious hierarchies to shift towards the political place a doubt on faith founded on language. A medium of communication with God puts into question the conceptualization as a form of self-knowing the absolute. Is language a side-track in human communication with God? What are the consequences of accepting a language as a form of communication with the God Almighty?
The concept of authoritarianism is used in the text as a way to shed light on the authoritarian political and military activities of those countries that ignore the modern civilisation’s legal and ...moral achievements in an attempt to “envelop time” in concepts such as propaganda, war and terrorism. Reflections on war include theses by Sigmund Freud, Erich Fromm, Claude Lévi- Strauss, Friedrich Nietzsche, Noam Chomsky, and other authors who “expand the framework” of war. This broadened context is then used in order to observe the phenomena of “global war” and “media war”, and the terrorist attack in Paris. The goal is to highlight the new/old role of the mass media’s “manufacturing consent”, and to clarify the role and power of media in the current rise of terrorism in the world.

We live in a time of growing discrepancies between the proclaimed political ideas/affiliations and reality. The systems of media seduction and manipulation allow for ‘manufacturing consent’ in ...contemporary citizens, the consumers of mass media products. This leads to new forms of establishing hierarchies, which repeat some of the old behaviour patterns. Truth is unwelcome. Communities of people interconnected through their interests develop various forms of substitutes for truth and the ways of bypassing truth and making it irrelevant. In this paper, the fact that illusions overpower ideas (as noted by Feuerbach) is illustrated by Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s The Grand Inquisitor from The Brothers Karamazov. “Why shouldst Thou now return, to impede us in our work,” the Grand Inquisitor inquires of God Himself, who has ‘descended from heaven’ in order to see His children. The encounter is marked by the Grand Inquisitor’s threat that God Himself will be tried and burned at the stake as a heretic. Dostoyevsky sets up a marvellous literary backdrop for the examination of the fundamental issues of faith, attitudes towards miracles, the Inquisition, but also the Reformation, which is turning 500 this very year. This text examines the relationship between faith and freedom, hierarchies and followers, the media system of mediation and the results of the mediation, the relationship between an idea and its lived reality. The paper draws a parallel between the time The Brothers Karamazov was written (mid 19th century) and the current turmoil, and seeks to find/suggest the answers to the eternal questions that Dostoyevsky rose/read from the history of the human quest for freedom. It is a philosophical and literary analysis, an exploration of philosophical ideas in a literary work. Dostoyevsky lends himself well to this kind of analysis, since some of his observations are marked with intellectual objections to such an extent that an entire closed philosophical system could be constructed with minimal effort. The additional motive for the exploration of the idea of the Grand Inquisitor is the increasing authoritarianism of the political leaders of countries both big and small, superpowers and banana states alike. Dostoyevsky has plenty to say to them, and this paper attempts to bring to life the great writer’s political and libertarian ideas, and transfer them to a time that has plenty to learn from him.

The text seeks to suggest two things. Firstly, it wants to deal with the media illiteracy of critics, who, due to their media isolation, and sometimes even a fear of the media, cannot and do not know ...how to correctly valorise the interest of the wider audience in a particular poet, i.e. his word. Secondly, the logic of stereotypical approach forces criticism into boxes which are not easy to escape, once and for all. The example of Enes Kišević, a poet who has been called an entertainer, is most suitable to showcase the creative strength of transcending both stereotypes and the laws of the media. The creative progress of the poeticism of Enes Kišević thus questions standard critical approaches, often unconsciously defined by the techniques of multiplication, and the accompanying elements of media intervention/mediation.

He explored the paradoxical elements and manipulation elements in the medium of television. What is an artistic act, and what his attitude towards life? Some of his questions were included: the real reality, the movement, the issue of recycling art products, permaculture, bio-energy, human perception, holiness and / or signature works of art ... The paper wants to emphasize the point of artistic work of Ivan Ladislav Galeta that suggest a different future of the media, or at least a part of it.
