Software and some hardware aspects of a universal data acquisition system developed for geomagnetic and GNSS measurements are considered. The system’s design features, APIs, platform independence, ...and energy efficient hardware are described.
A service is described that makes possible the effective construction of a three-dimensional ionospheric model based on the data of ground receivers of signals from global navigation satellite ...positioning systems (GNSS). The obtained image has a high resolution, mainly because data from the IPG GNSS network of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Rosgidromet) are used. A specially developed format and its implementation in the form of

structures are used to collect, transmit, and store data. The method of high-altitude radio tomography is used to construct the three-dimensional model. The operation of all system components (from registration point organization to the procedure for constructing the electron density three-dimensional distribution and publication of the total electron content map on the Internet) has been described in detail. The three-dimensional image of the ionosphere, obtained automatically, is compared with the ionosonde measurements, calculated using the two-dimensional low-altitude tomography method and averaged by the ionospheric model.
The paper describes the structure and organization of operation of a portable telemetric seismological station, as well as its use for both terrestrial and marine observations. The main attention is ...paid to the implementation of the scheme of data transmission by a real-time protocol, as well as to the feature of operation by this protocol while using a cellular communication channel. Using a standard protocol and a cellular network, in conjunction with low power consumption, relatively small cost of equipment, and ease of installation and maintenance make our solution attractive for the rapid deployment of a network of such stations. This is topical for regular monitoring of an object (or a region) to assess seismic hazards, tsunami warning, as well as in areas of aftershock activity following large earthquakes. Through the use of standard real-time protocols, data is transmitted to data processing centers and do not require additional configuration of mathematical support and an expensive procedure to organize processing of new data streams.
One of the important astrophysical problems is the determination of the abundance of helium isotopes ^sup 3^He and ^sup 4^He in different regions of the Universe, because this abundance can reflect ...its history by pointing to the intensity of various possible processes of the creation and decay of light elements. This paper describes the method and results of the determination (for the first time performed by a direct method) of the helium isotopic abundance in the local interstellar medium surrounding the Solar system. The experiment was carried out on the manned Mir space station by long-term space exposure of samples of metal foil with their subsequent recovery to the Earth and detailed laboratory mass-spectrometric analysis. As a result, we succeeded in obtaining an estimation of the ^sup 4^He concentration (about 7.5 × 10^sup -3^ cm^sup -3^) and the isotopic ratio ^sup 3^He/^sup 4^He (about1.7 × 10^sup -4^) for the local interstellar medium.PUBLICATION ABSTRACT
