This article concerns the existence of unbounded solutions to fourth-order boundary-value problem on the half-line with two-point boundary conditions. One-sided Nagumo condition plays a special role ...as it allows an asymmetric unbounded behavior on the nonlinearity. The arguments are based on the Schauder fixed point theorem and lower and upper solutions method. As an application, an example is given with non-ordered lower and upper solutions, to prove our results.
This paper presents an existence and localization result of unbounded solutions for a second-order differential equation on the half-line with functional boundary conditions. By applying unbounded ...upper and lower solutions, Green’s functions, and Schauder fixed point theorem, the existence of at least one solution is shown for the above problem. One example and one application to an Emden-Fowler equation are shown to illustrate our results.
This paper is concerned with the existence of bounded or unbounded solutions to regular and singular second order boundary value problem on the half-line with functional boundary conditions. These ...functional boundary conditions generalize the usual boundary assumptions and may be applied to a broad number of cases, such as, nonlocal, integro-differential, with delays, with maximum or minimum arguments... The arguments are based on the Schauder fixed point theorem and lower and upper solutions method.

This work provides sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions to fourth-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations with Lidstone-type boundary conditions on the real line. Using ...Green’s functions, we formulate a modified integral equation and correspondent integral operators, in which fixed points are the solutions of the initial problem. Moreover, it is proved that every solution of the Lidstone problem on the whole real line is an homoclinic solution.
