The purpose is to study the influence of Zhu Xi’s neo-Confucianism on the ideological and political education (IPE) of college students. Firstly, the aesthetic connotation of Zhu Xi’s ...Neo-Confucianism is studied. Secondly, an interview is performed with teachers of the IPE course in a university in Xi’an, and a questionnaire survey is conducted on some students of the IPE course in the school. It aims to investigate the current situation of college students’ IPE, and the impact of integrating aesthetic education into IPE of college students on the improvement of students’ overall quality and internalized psychology. Finally, the reasons for this situation are analyzed and solutions are given. The survey results reveal that the aesthetic education thoughts based on Zhu Xi’s neo-Confucianism are integrated into the construction of college students’ internalized psychological mechanism, and most students think that their mental health status has changed a lot. The proportion of boys who choose “improved” is 57.95%, and the proportion of girls is 53.45%. The aesthetic education is integrated into the IPE of college students, and the proportion of students who think “no effect” after integration and before integration has decreased by 2.01%. The proportion of the number of people who chose the three indicators of “increasing the innovation of teaching methods”, “advancing aesthetic ability”, and “improving the effectiveness of ideological education” increased by 5.88%, 5.5%, and 3.98%, respectively. It demonstrates that the effect of IPE on college students has been greatly improved after integration into aesthetic education.

Our understanding of phylogenetic relationships among bony fishes has been transformed by analysis of a small number of genes, but uncertainty remains around critical nodes. Genome-scale inferences ...so far have sampled a limited number of taxa and genes. Here we leveraged 144 genomes and 159 transcriptomes to investigate fish evolution with an unparalleled scale of data: >0.5 Mb from 1,105 orthologous exon sequences from 303 species, representing 66 out of 72 ray-finned fish orders. We apply phylogenetic tests designed to trace the effect of whole-genome duplication events on gene trees and find paralogy-free loci using a bioinformatics approach. Genome-wide data support the structure of the fish phylogeny, and hypothesis-testing procedures appropriate for phylogenomic datasets using explicit gene genealogy interrogation settle some long-standing uncertainties, such as the branching order at the base of the teleosts and among early euteleosts, and the sister lineage to the acanthomorph and percomorph radiations. Comprehensive fossil calibrations date the origin of all major fish lineages before the end of the Cretaceous.
In this article, a scheme to detect both clone and Sybil attacks by using channel-based machine learning is proposed. To identify malicious attacks, channel responses between sensor peers have been ...explored as a form of fingerprints with spatial and temporal uniqueness. Moreover, the machine-learning-based method is applied to provide a more accurate authentication rate. Specifically, by combining with edge devices, we apply a threshold detection method based on channel differences to provide offline training sample sets with labels for the machine learning algorithm, which avoids manually generating labels. Therefore, our proposed scheme is lightweight for resource constrained industrial wireless devices, since only an online-decision making is required. Extensive simulations and experiments were conducted in real industrial environments. Both results show that the authentication accuracy rate of our strategy with an appropriate threshold can achieve 84% without manual labeling.
To prevent the degradation of control performance resulting from the use of the clipped approach, this paper presents a novel control strategy for CDC (continuous damping control) semi-active ...suspensions using the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy method based on a piecewise affine (PWA) vertical dynamics model. First, to account for the significant tension-compression asymmetry and dissipative constraint of CDC damper force, a piecewise damping-force model is developed with current serving as input. Due to the nonlinear terms, T-S fuzzy system is then utilized to describe the suspension system via the sector nonlinearity approach. Finally, a fuzzy state feedback controller considering the asymmetry saturation of the control current is designed for the obtained switched T–S fuzzy model with optimized H∞ performance for suspension system by using the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) scheme. Simulation and experimental results under sinusoidal, random and transient excitations show significant improvements of the proposed approach on ride comfort and road handling while guaranteeing the performance under the input current constraint.
RNA-Seq has become one of the most widely used applications based on next-generation sequencing technology. However, raw RNA-Seq data may have quality issues, which can significantly distort ...analytical results and lead to erroneous conclusions. Therefore, the raw data must be subjected to vigorous quality control (QC) procedures before downstream analysis. Currently, an accurate and complete QC of RNA-Seq data requires of a suite of different QC tools used consecutively, which is inefficient in terms of usability, running time, file usage, and interpretability of the results.
We developed a comprehensive, fast and easy-to-use QC pipeline for RNA-Seq data, RNA-QC-Chain, which involves three steps: (1) sequencing-quality assessment and trimming; (2) internal (ribosomal RNAs) and external (reads from foreign species) contamination filtering; (3) alignment statistics reporting (such as read number, alignment coverage, sequencing depth and pair-end read mapping information). This package was developed based on our previously reported tool for general QC of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data called QC-Chain, with extensions specifically designed for RNA-Seq data. It has several features that are not available yet in other QC tools for RNA-Seq data, such as RNA sequence trimming, automatic rRNA detection and automatic contaminating species identification. The three QC steps can run either sequentially or independently, enabling RNA-QC-Chain as a comprehensive package with high flexibility and usability. Moreover, parallel computing and optimizations are embedded in most of the QC procedures, providing a superior efficiency. The performance of RNA-QC-Chain has been evaluated with different types of datasets, including an in-house sequencing data, a semi-simulated data, and two real datasets downloaded from public database. Comparisons of RNA-QC-Chain with other QC tools have manifested its superiorities in both function versatility and processing speed.
We present here a tool, RNA-QC-Chain, which can be used to comprehensively resolve the quality control processes of RNA-Seq data effectively and efficiently.

The 16S sequencing of the skin tissues of the resistant and susceptible families showed significant differences in the microbial communities of the two families. In this paper, an edge computing system for IoT-based (Internet of Things) smart grids is proposed to overcome the drawbacks in the current cloud computing paradigm in power systems, where many ...problems have yet to be addressed such as fully realizing the requirements of high bandwidth with low latency. The new system mainly introduces edge computing in the traditional cloud-based power system and establishes a new hardware and software architecture. Therefore, a considerable amount of data generated in the electrical grid will be analyzed, processed, and stored at the edge of the network. Aided with edge computing paradigm, the IoT-based smart grids will realize the connection and management of substantial terminals, provide the real-time analysis and processing of massive data, and foster the digitalization of smart grids. In addition, we propose a privacy protection strategy via edge computing, data prediction strategy, and preprocessing strategy of hierarchical decision-making based on task grading (HDTG) for the IoT-based smart girds. The effectiveness of our proposed approaches has been demonstrated via the numerical simulations.
Environmental sex determination (ESD) occurs in divergent, phylogenetically unrelated taxa, and in some species, co-occurs with genetic sex determination (GSD) mechanisms. Although epigenetic ...regulation in response to environmental effects has long been proposed to be associated with ESD, a systemic analysis on epigenetic regulation of ESD is still lacking. Using half-smooth tongue sole (Cynoglossus semilaevis) as a model-a marine fish that has both ZW chromosomal GSD and temperature-dependent ESD-we investigated the role of DNA methylation in transition from GSD to ESD. Comparative analysis of the gonadal DNA methylomes of pseudomale, female, and normal male fish revealed that genes in the sex determination pathways are the major targets of substantial methylation modification during sexual reversal. Methylation modification in pseudomales is globally inherited in their ZW offspring, which can naturally develop into pseudomales without temperature incubation. Transcriptome analysis revealed that dosage compensation occurs in a restricted, methylated cytosine enriched Z chromosomal region in pseudomale testes, achieving equal expression level in normal male testes. In contrast, female-specific W chromosomal genes are suppressed in pseudomales by methylation regulation. We conclude that epigenetic regulation plays multiple crucial roles in sexual reversal of tongue sole fish. We also offer the first clues on the mechanisms behind gene dosage balancing in an organism that undergoes sexual reversal. Finally, we suggest a causal link between the bias sex chromosome assortment in the offspring of a pseudomale family and the transgenerational epigenetic inheritance of sexual reversal in tongue sole fish.
