This study aims to create a system to detect vehicle speed in the School Safe Zone area using Mini PC based with Computer Vision technology and Image Processing techniques. This research, was hoped ...for the drivers will more discipline in driving, so can create safe and comfortable traffic in the School Safe Zone area. This system was made using a camera module to take video of the track, Raspberry Pi was used as the main device for detection and speed calculation. Every vehicle which crossed the zone would be detected and tracked to follow every vehicle movement, then was conducted a process of saving the center point of the vehicle object based on the initial detection line. Finally, calculated the vehicle speed based on the distance and time the vehicle moved on the frame which was set based on the detection line. The results of the vehicle speed would be displayed on the LCD and the output was in the form of a sound from the speaker as a warning for drivers whose vehicle speed exceeds 25 km / hour. Based on results of this research, the system was capable for work well in detecting and getting the speed results of passing vehicles. However, for direct implementation the devices in this system are inadequate for video processing, so that the response time and accuracy level was obtained by the system did not match for actual conditions.

Currently, the process ...of making kawa daun drinks still uses the manual method, namely by boiling dried and roasted coffee leaves, the dosing of each component and the use of hot water for this drink are still different depending on the maker. Therefore we need a system that can facilitate the community in making this kawa leaf drink, namely by measuring the components of the drink using a weight sensor. For the use of hot water in the manufacture of this drink, hot water with a temperature of 80-90 OC is used, which will be measured using the DS18b20 temperature sensor. This tool is designed using Arduino Mega 2560, Weight sensor, DS18b20 temperature sensor, servo motor, DC motor, HX711 module, relay, mini water pump, keypad, and LCD.
the process of borrowing and returning library books usually requires a librarian to go through this process, of course this requirement can cause delays in returning books due to library holidays ...and the difference in free hours from the library and library members. so this research aims to make it easy for library members to be able to return books independently using a storage box that can be done by the system. in this book return box using a raspberry pi 3b+ as a data processing center and using the pi camera to capture the book cover made on the book return box. the security system in this return box uses a selenoid door lock as an automatic door lock which will be routed by a relay and uses rfid as the identity of books, members and librarians. in this study the system can store and return books using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method with an accuracy of 95% with a processing time of 6.9s
Bicycles are an easy-to-use and affordable transportation tool for all society. However, in cycling, there is no information about the speed and distance that has been taken. Whereas, these ...parameters are quite essential because knowing that we can adjust the speed of the bicycle if we are going to the office or school so that we can estimate the time of arrival to reach the destination. Commonly, the device used to measure the speed and distance of a bicycle is a device with a GPS feature as a system based on geographical location. However, this device measures speed by knowing the position of the user captured by the satellite, not resulting from the actual speed of a bicycle. In this research, the designed system can measure the actual speed of a bicycle using the rotational speed of a bicycle wheel. The system implemented by using the Hall Effect sensor that will detect the magnet. The microcontroller then processes the data and convert the rotation per second into linear velocity. Then, information on speed, distance, and average speed are displayed to the LCD screen. After testing and analyzing the bicycle speed and distance measuring system using the Hall Effect sensor, we can conclude that The speed and distance of a bicycle can be measured by the hall effect sensor with the number of rotations that the Hall Effect sensor can detect up to 542 revolutions/minute. The final results of speed and distance can be displayed on the LCD, with the percentage error 2-3%.
The spread of COVID-19 that occurs through droplets can be avoided by reducing contact between individuals, so it is necessary to limit visitors, especially in crowded places such as shopping centers ...to avoid transmission between visitors. This study utilizes YOLOv3 object detection to recognize objects from camera image input, which is implemented on the Raspberry Pi 4, to identify visitors and use masks. The results of the identification of human objects will be calculated to determine the number of visitors at the shopping center. Then a buzzer sound warning is given when visitors are not wearing masks, if visitors exceed the capacity limit, they are also given a warning via an android application to the building manager. The results of the model detection show the mAP value of 77.92% for 3 classes of mask objects, without masks and humans.
This Community Service activity is carried out at the Pandai Sikek Weaving Cooperative located in Nagari Pandai Sikek, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency. This activity aims to provide assistance ...in managing digital marketing and product branding at the Pandai Sikek Weaving Cooperative to members of the cooperative who are weavers from Nagari Pandai Sikek. Products are marketed in the form of woven cloth typical of Pandai Sikek and some handicrafts typical of West Sumatra. The Pandai Sikek Weaving Cooperative currently does not have a name and logo for the product being marketed, so the product does not have an identity that can be recognized by the public. The method used in this activity is brainstorming with activity partners to obtain the same thoughts about product names and logos. In addition, the implementation method is also in the form of training and assistance in managing digital marketing as one of the product marketing strategies. In this activity, product branding has been produced with the name "Songket Weaving Pandai Sikek." With this name and logo, it is hoped that the products of the Pandai Sikek Weaving Cooperative can be immediately recognized by consumers, who will impact increasing product sales. In addition, this Community Service activity also provides assistance to partners in digital marketing management to market products both in marketplaces such as Tokopedia and on social media such as Instagram and Facebook. With this digital marketing, the products of the Pandai Sikek Weaving Cooperative have been marketed more widely, not only in the area of origin and surrounding areas but also to reach consumers from other regions in Indonesia.
Through the analysis of lexical density, students’ progress in language learning, especially in writing can be identified. This article aimed to find out lexical density of students’ writing and to ...explain how lexical density shows their ability in writing an academic text. The data were taken from the introduction section of thesis proposals written by English graduate students, with the readers of higher education level. By statistical and descriptive analysis, the study reveals that the lexical density of students’ writing is categorized as less dense (51.19%). Grammatical complexity became the major factor that contributed to lexical density. It was revealed that the complexities emerged since students still have limited knowledge about the language use in writing an academic text. The fact shows that students’ ability in writing academic text is still in average level. This implies that the ones who write the text should consider the high density for the academic text. It is recommended to provide the topic of lexical density in the subject of academic writing subject in the syllabus of English study program of higher education.
Padatnya kegiatan seseorang kadangkala membuat orang menjadi lupa dengan masalah keamanan dan kenyamanan seperti lupa mengunci pintu, lupa mematikan lampu ataupun peralatan elektronik lainnya ...sehingga membuat rumah menjadi tidak aman dan mengakibatkan pemborosan dari segi energi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk merancang sebuah sistem pengontrolan keamanan rumah menggunakan Raspberry Pi yang terhubung dengan beberapa peralatan elektronik dan jaringan komunikasi wifi dan internet. Pengontrolan dan monitoring dapat dilakukan pada jarak jauh menggunakan smart phone. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap sensor arus ACS712, sensor PIR (Passive Infra Red), sensor suhu dan kelembaban DHT22, dua buah lampu dan satu buah webcam dan buzzer. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang dapat menampilkan informasi nilai arus, suhu dan kelembaban serta dapat mengontrol keadaan rumah dengan menghidupkan dan mematikan dua buah lampu dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Sensor PIR dapat mendeteksi adanya gerakan orang pada jarak maksimal 5,5 meter dan webcam berhasil meng-capture objek apabila ada gerakan terdeteksi, secara otomatis notifikasi akan dikirim ke smart phone pemilik dan buzzer akan aktif seketika.

Resepsi merupakan suatu acara yang dihadiri oleh tamu undangan. Ketika memasuki acara resepsi, tamu akan disambut oleh penanti tamu yang akan mempersilahkan tamu untuk mengisi buku tamu dan ...menyerahkan souvenir kepada tamu. Pada resepsi yang mengundang banyak tamu akan menyebabkan penumpukan antrian tamu di pintu masuk resepsi yang disebabkan oleh waktu yang lama untuk menuliskan nama dan alamat pada buku tamu. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah sistem penerima tamu otomatis pada resepsi dengan cara melakukan pembacaan RFID tag yang ditempelkan ke RFID reader dan menyimpan data tamu ke SD card kemudian souvenir akan keluar secara otomatis. Dengan adanya sistem ini, proses penerimaan tamu resepsi menjadi lebih singkat dan data tamu yang hadir dapat disimpan dan ditampilkan melalui notepad. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem dapat membaca dan menyimpan data tamu dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100 %, dengan rata-rata jarak masksimal RFID tag dan RFID reader 2,5 cm. Pengujian secara keseluruhan dari sistem menunjukkan 2 dari 10 kali percobaan tidak berhasil disebabkan oleh souvenir yang tersangkut pada alat pendorong souvenir atau penampung souvenir sehingga souvenir tidak dapat keluar dari alat, namun data tamu berhasil disimpan sesuai dengan RFID tag yang didekatkan ke RFID reader.
A dormitory is a temporary residence for college students in which they are charged with a certain cost for a certain period of time. The payment for water usage in a dorm includes bathrooms that ...use PDAM (municipal waterworks). The management of water usage in the dorms is not recorded properly due to the absence of a flow meter in the water pipelines. Monthly water usage in each dormitory room remains uncertain depending on the tenant's need. Therefore, a system was designed to monitor the water usage in dormitory rooms. This system relies on a waterflow sensor component to measure water discharge, an LCD to display a real-time volume and costs, a solenoid valve to stop the water flow when the bill is due, a relay to control the work of the solenoid valve, and ESP32 to process data includes discharge data, volume data, and cost data. These data are sent to the server and stored in a database. Then, the water usage and the monthly cost can be accessed on the website. The system adds a lithium battery, a TP4056 charger module, and a boost converter. The testing was done by designing 3 tools with the same components and functions. The error value on device 1 is 0.5%, device 2 is 0.2%, and device 3 is 0.1%. The success ratio of each function of the system as a whole is 100%.
