The article dwells on the results of the search for the archeological site – Ashlama-Saray – the country palace of the Crimean Khans. The palace was built in the second half of the 17th century. At ...the end of the 18th century, the main buildings of the palace were reconstructed. Currently, the ruins of the palace are not identified on the surface. The location of this monument was determined by a general plan of Bakhchisaray city. During the series of archaeological and natural-scientific works carried out in 2015–2016, this palace was precisely localized in the valley of Ashlama-Dere.

Self-regulated learning (SRL) is viewed as an important aspect of student academic performance and achievement. Over the past decades, the concept of SRL has been heavily researched, with many ...educational psychologists proposing theoretical models and setting up studies to test the theories and provide pragmatic information about SRL. The aim of this review was to analyze different models of SRL. To achieve this goal, three models of SRL developed by Zimmerman, Pintrich and Efklides were presented. All of the models had empirical evidence supporting the validity of some of their main aspects. As developing their models, both Pintrich and Zimmerman, and partly Efklides; drew on the same background theory and their models reflected Bandura’s 1986 Social Cognitive Theory, underlining social foundations of thinking and behavior. The terminology also varied from one model to another, but all the authors assumed SRL to proceed from a preparatory or preliminary phase, through actual performance or task completion phase, to an appraisal or adaptation one.
Several centuries have passed, since the birth of traditional educational paradigm comprised of knowledge, abilities, and skills. The world has also changed, and pedagogical systems have remained ...mostly the same as those at the beginning of their formation, and have also become inadequate for time challenges. This is manifested in the fact that post-industrial or new information society of the 21st century facing the problem of lack of people, who would be able to work in new conditions right after the graduation. The situation when a specialist with a diploma has a finite amount of knowledge in the absence of ability to use it and replenish, becomes a deterrent to the development of the productive forces of society. This is the reason for the appeal of the European, and consequently, the Russian education to the competency building approach. Traditionally, the goals of education were determined by the set of knowledge, abilities, and skills that a graduate must possess. Today, this approach has been proven inadequate. Society needs graduates ready to run active life and capable of solving vital and professional problems occurring. This mainly depends both on received knowledge, abilities, and skills, and also on some additional qualities implying “competence” and “adequacy” that have more in common with modern education goals. To this end, in the experimental part of the study, a model for the formation of professional competencies of university students during the process of implementation of new educational standards was presented.
The use of motion vectors for identifying video sequences has been well studied (in the framework of research on the topic CBCD – Content-Based Copy Detection ‒ detecting copies of videos based on ...content analysis). This makes it possible to check the similarity of two video fragments or search for a fragment in a larger video sequence. Existing and well-known methods for forming identification datasets typically use complete video stream decoding. The authors suggested using the motion vectors of a compressed video stream, which reduces the computational costs for identifying video sequences and uses simplified algorithms to generate identification data. Unlike the previously proposed methods, which implement either modified video codecs or obsolete ones, the authors propose using data formed by compression codecs that are used in the most common video hosting platforms (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) The possibility of forming an automated system of comparing video sequences, along with its possibilities and limitations, will be studied in the following works.
The new SPASCHARM experiment for systematic studies of polarization phenomena in strong interactions is under construction now at IHEP, Protvino. The technical beam runs for the experiment first ...stage are planned for the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017. At this stage, the polarization measurements will be carried out with unpolarized hadronic beams of various compositions (π±, K±, p, antiprotons), using the polarized target. The universal large acceptance experimental set-up is capable detecting and identification most charged and neutral particles and reconstructing a large number of resonances produced in beam interactions at polarized proton target, and later on at the second stage, in collisions of polarized proton and antiproton beams with fixed targets of various materials. The large acceptance and wide data acquisition bandwidth would provide the capabilities for simultaneous data accumulation for a number of physics analyses from the measurements of single-spin asymmetries in inclusive and exclusive reactions to reconstructions of final state hyperon polarizations and spin density matrix elements for vector mesons in a wide range of kinematic variables (pT, xF).

A new experiment SPASCHARM for systematic study of polarization phenomena in inclusive and exclusive hadronic reactions is currently under commissioning at IHEP. The universal experimental setup will ...detect dozens of various resonances and stable particles produced in collisions of unpolarized beams with the polarized target, and at the next stage, using polarized beams. At the first stage with polarized target, the final states composed of light quarks (u, d, s) will be reconstructed. Hyperon polarization and spin density matrix elements of the vector mesons will be measured along with the single-spin asymmetries. The 2π-acceptance in azimuth, which is extremely useful for reduction of systematic errors in measurements of spin observables, will be implemented in the experiment. The solid angle acceptance of the setup, Δθ≈250 mrad vertically and 350 mrad horizontally in the beam fragmentation region, covers a wide range of kinematic variables pT and xF. This provides the opportunity for separating dependences on these two variables which is usually not possible in the setups with a small solid angle acceptance. Unlike some previous polarization experiments, the SPASCHARM will be able to simultaneously accumulate and record data on the both, charged and neutral particle production.
A method is proposed for constructing digital signature schemes based on the hidden discrete logarithm problem, which meet ageneral criterion of post-quantum resistance. The method provides a ...relatively small size of the public key and signature. Based on the method, a practical digital signature scheme has been developed, in which the exponentiation operation in a hidden group with two-dimensional cyclicity is the basic cryptographic primitive. The algebraic support of a cryptoscheme is a four-dimensional finite non-commutative algebra with associative multiplication operation. By specifying algebra using abasis vector multiplication table with half of empty cells, the performance of signature generation and authentication procedures is improved. A public key is a triple of four-dimensional vectors calculated as images of elements of a hidden group which are mapped using two types of masking operations: 1) mutually commutative with the exponentiation operation and 2) not having this property.
