On the metallurgical facilities (blast furnace, BOF steel plant ...) in the technologica. process is present occurrence of waste gases. This is actually a consequence of the process that occurs in ...these facilities. These gases carrying particulate matters, especially fine pieces ore, coke, lime, etc. For further use or releasing into the atmosphere, these gases in the further proceeding must be cooled and cleaned. One of the cleaning treatments is omission of gases through the wet flushing systems for the initial phase of treatment. The efficiency of this treatment is a function of various parameters. This paper gives the possibility for cleaning of gases and the results of the efficiencies that are achieved on wet gas cleaning systems. The results are presented in this paper can be used as a basis for process improvement, as well as for taking precise measures to improve the ecological parameters of the environment in which these facilities operate. PUBLICATION ABSTRACT
This research paper presents the approach of automated computerized identification of causal knowledge and causal graphs using monitoring of vibrations and temperatures of sliding bearings of ...high-power and high-speed process ventilators. Method of Granger causal connectivity analysis of vibration and temperature parameters is presented. This method improves diagnostics of process ventilators because of identification of causal relations and links of vibrations and temperatures in graph form. After computing and plotting causal graphs for vibrations and temperatures, causal density is computed as a measure of dynamical complexity of system. Numerical values of causal density are taken as indicators of systems "health" of process ventilators.
U ovom radu je dan pristup automatskog računarskog identificiranja uzročnog znanja i uzročnih grafova putem monitoringa vibracija i temperatura postrojenja procesnih ventilatora velikih snaga i ...velikih brzina vrtnje.
More recently a modified stainless steels have been used to produce various structural elements that work in complex operating conditions. Stainless steel X8CrNiS18-9 (standard EN 10088-3: 2005) is ...the most commonly used austenitic stainless steel due to its good machinability. This steel has high mechanical and working properties thanks to a complex alloying, primarily with the elements such as chromium and nickel. The content of sulphur present in the steel from 0.15 to 0.35% improves machinability. However, while sulphur improves machinability at the same time decreases the mechanical properties particularly toughness. The addition of sulphur, which is the cheapest available additive for free machining, will impair not only the transverse strength and toughness, but also the corrosion resistance. The aim of this work is to determine the influence of microalloying with boron on the machinability, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties the mentioned steel, but alsoto determine the effect of microalloying with boron on above steel, which is already microalloyed with zirconium, tellurium, or both elements (zirconium and tellurium) due to modification of non-metallic inclusions and improvement of properties.
The control of formation of nonmetallic inclusion and the characterization present the basis of improvement of steel product properties and lead to sustainable development in design of new steel ...grades. In order to produce steels with better machinability, such as AISI 303 grades, a modification of inclusions with carefully designed chemical composition is presented. Sulphur by creating sulphide inclusions reduces friction and cutting resistance, and increases the brittleness of the chip.Considering its harmful effect in steel, as well as the fact that non-metallic inclusions have been insufficiently tested for this type of high-alloyed steel, the aim of this research is to determine effects of microalloying on the possibility of modification of non-metallic inclusions. Modification with zirconium favorably affects the ductile properties of steel, and a step forward in this study is a modification of inclusions with tellurium. It is of particular importance to determine the behavior of non-metallic inclusions in the process of production of the structural part and in subsequent exploitation. Therefore, plastic processing of austenitic stainless steel was also carried out, forging and rolling with two different level of processing.
This paper shows how additive manufacturing applications can be used to help people with vision impairments. There are many 3D printed tactile maps, books or individually customized hearing devices ...that can help for their inclusion. As a potential solution, a 3D printed eco box was designed and created. Small box with a separable and replaceable 3D printed QR code on the front side, tactile map on top and space for the integrated speaker inside of the box. 3D printing process allows each box and QR code to be unique, quickly designed and produced. They can be placed on tram, bus, train, or metro stations or at the airport. Scanning QR code with specialized app on the phones, gives detailed voice instructions about current location, timetable, guide marks and other important information. Product can be also used by general community, for the same purposes. This paper provides detailed instructions for product design and 3D printing.
