The Delta-perturbation expansion method, a kind of new perturbation technique depending upon an artificial parameter Delta was studied. The study reveals that the method exits some advantages, but ...also exits some limitations. To overcome the limitations, the socalled linearized perturbation method proposed by HE Ji-huan can be powerfully applied.

본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 휴대폰 사용자를 대상으로 무선인터넷 서비스 사용자의 특성(성, 나이, 직업)에 따라 컨텐츠 선호 유형이 달라지는가를 실증적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 유무선 인터넷 컨텐츠와 관련한 기존문헌들을 중심으로 무선인터넷 서비스 사용자의 인구통계학적 특성 및 무선인터넷 컨텐츠 유형을 도출 ...및 정의하였다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 휴대폰 사용자에게 설문지를 의뢰함으로써 다양한 통계분석을 실시하였다.
A high-performance noncoherent transmission scheme is proposed in the broadcasting phase of a two-way relay transmission (TWRT), where multiple-symbol differential detection (MSDD) is performed ...because of its excellent detection performance with no channel estimation. Specifically, the generalized likelihood ratio test aided MSDD (GLRT-MSDD) is developed for the down-link. Furthermore, GLRT-MSDD is reformulated and a semidefinite relaxation aided MSDD (SDR-MSDD) is proposed. The reformulation of GLRT-MSDD to SDR-MSDD is desirable owing to its reduced complexity. Performance analysis and the simulations validate that the proposed SDR-MSDD provides the bit-error-rate performance close to that of GLRT-MSDD with reasonable complexity in TWRT.

The purpose of this study was to characterize and investigate the immune activity of CpG oligodeoxynucleotides (ODNs) from Bifidobacterium longum. Bacterial CpG motifs have attracted considerable ...interests because of their immunomodulatory activities. Genomic DNA from B. longum was prepared and amplified for 4 different 180-188-mer double-stranded ODNs (BLODN1-BLODN4). When immune cells (RAW 264.7 murine macrophages and JAWS Ⅱ dendritic cells) with these ODNs were treated, BLODN4 induced the highest immune activity. To assess the effectiveness of the CpG sequences within BLODN4, single-stranded 40-mer ODNs containing CpG sequences (sBLODN4-1, sBLODN4-2) were synthesized. sBLODN4-1 induced higher level of cytokines such as interleukin (IL)-12p40 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α by macrophage and IL-6 and TNF-α by dendritic cells than did sBLODN4-2. The results suggest that CpG ODNs-enriched components of B. longum might be useful as an immunomodulatory functional food ingredient.
The numerical experiment based on the Composite Element Method (CEM) is extended to study the stress-dependent permeability tensor for fractured rock masses. The CEM allows rock meshing regardless of ...fractures, and the fractures are automatically formulated with an explicit representation. An equivalent filled fracture model is introduced into the CEM to realize a hydro–mechanical coupling simulation for the numerical experiment. This model assumes the hydraulic properties both along and normal to the fracture plane dependent on the fracture normal stress with an exponential relation. Large numbers of rock specimens with different sizes and orientations are modeled and their hydro–mechanical coupling behaviors under various stress states are simulated by the CEM. From the simulated results, the stress-dependent permeability tensors are calculated from the flow rates through the rock specimen boundaries. In order to predict the permeability tensor for any in situ stress state, a load/permeability database is developed using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The database establishes the mapping from the stress state to the permeability tensor, based on the powerful data modeling capacity of the ANN. Inputting any in situ stress state into the database, the database output is the relevant permeability tensor predicted. The above algorithms are verified by comparison with an analytical solution and successfully used in a stochastic fracture system.

To study the effect of genistein (GST) on rabbit heart ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury.
Rabbit heart I/R injury was induced by occluding the left anterior descending coronary artery for 45 min and ...reperfusing for 180 min. GST (1.0 mg/kg) was intravenously injected 5 min before heart ischemia. Hemodynamic data, infarct size, and cardiomyocytic apoptosis were measured. The pathologic changes of I/R myocardium were observed.
During the I/R, heart rate, mean arterial blood pressure, myocardial oxygen consumption, left ventricular (LV) -dp/dtmax and +dp/dtmax were decreased progressively. The infarct size was occupied 60.23 %+/-3.97 % (% of area at risk) in vehicle +I/R group while GST reduced the infarct size to 39.62 %+/-4.30 % (P<0.01). DNA ladder pattern in myocardium was revealed by agarose gel electrophoresis in vehicle +I/R group while was not found in GST+I/R group. Apoptotic cardiomyocytes were sparse within ischemic myocardium at risk in GST+I/R group as compared with that in vehicle +I/R group (TUNEL stain). Apoptosis rate in ischemic myocardium from vehicle +I/R and GST+I/R groups detected by flow cytometry were 15.33 %+/-1.31 % and 3.88 %+/-0.33 %, respectively. Fas and Bax protein expressions in ischemic myocardium of vehicle +I/R group were higher than that in GST+I/R group (P<0.01). Bcl-2/Bax ratio in vehicle +I/R group was lower than that in nonischemic myocardium (P<0.01), while in GST+I/R group, the Bcl-2/Bax ratio was higher than that in vehicle +I/R group (P<0.01).

To evaluate the influence of sterilization treatment on continuous carbon-fiber reinforced polyolefin composite (CFRP) so as to provide experimental reference for selection of sterilization method ...for CFRP.
Seventy bars of CFRP were divided into 7 equal groups to undergo sterilization by autoclave, 2% glutaraldehyde soaking, 75% alcohol soaking, ethylene oxide sterilization, and Co-60 gamma ray irradiation of the dosages 11 kGy, 25 kGy, and 18 kGy respectively, and another 10 bars were used as blank controls. Then the bars underwent three-point bending test and longitudinal compression test so as to measure the biomechanical changes after sterilization treatment, including the maximum load, ultimate strength, and elastic modulus.
Three-point bending test showed that the levels of maximum load of the all experimental groups were lower than that of the control group, however, only those of the 3 Co-60 irradiation groups were significantly lower than that of the control group and that Co-60 radiation lowered the
