Tarih boyunca birçok devletin odak noktalarından birisi olan Kıbrıs adası, 20.
yüzyılda Türk ve Rum halkı arasında ciddi olaylara sebep olmuştur. Rumlar kurdukları
terör örgütü vasıtasıyla adada ...yaşayan Türkleri, zulüm ve katliam ile adadan gitmeleri için
zorlamıştır. Yunanistan da adada yapılan zulümlere el altından destek olmuş, Türkiye de
kendi ırkdaşlarını korumak amacıyla önce diplomatik girişimlerde bulunmuş, sonuç
alamayınca da askeri müdahaleye başvurmuştur. Tarihe Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtı olarak
geçecek olan bu müdahalenin hem içeride hem de dışarıda birçok yansıması olmuştur.
Harekât gerek yerel basın gerek ulusal basın gerekse dünya basını tarafından yakından
takip edilmiştir.
Bu çalışmamızda, 20 Temmuz 1974 ve 14 Ağustos 1974 tarihlerinde Türkiye’nin,
Kıbrıslı Türklerin canını, malını ve namusunu korumak amacıyla Kıbrıs adasına yaptığı
askeri harekatın, kurtuluşun şehri İzmir’in yerel basınına yansımalarını ele alacağız. Kıbrıs
Barış Harekatı’nın yapıldığı ilk günden harekatın bittiği güne kadar yaşanan gelişmeleri,
İzmir halkının Kıbrıs’ta yaşanan askerî harekâtı yakından takip etmesini sağlayan Ege
Ekspres, Ege Telgraf, Demokrat İzmir ve Yeni Asır gazetelerinin çerçevesinde
değerlendireceğiz.
Studies of horse evolution arose during the middle of the 19th century, and several hypotheses have been proposed for their taxonomy, paleobiogeography, paleoecology and evolution. The present ...contribution represents a collaboration of 19 multinational experts with the goal of providing an updated summary of Pliocene and Pleistocene North, Central and South American, Eurasian and African horses. At the present time, we recognize 114 valid species across these continents, plus 4 North African species in need of further investigation. Our biochronology and biogeography sections integrate Equinae taxonomic records with their chronologic and geographic ranges recognizing regional biochronologic frameworks. The paleoecology section provides insights into paleobotany and diet utilizing both the mesowear and light microscopic methods, along with calculation of body masses. We provide a temporal sequence of maps that render paleoclimatic conditions across these continents integrated with Equinae occurrences. These records reveal a succession of extinctions of primitive lineages and the rise and diversification of more modern taxa. Two recent morphological-based cladistic analyses are presented here as competing hypotheses, with reference to molecular-based phylogenies. Our contribution represents a state-of-the art understanding of Plio-Pleistocene Equus evolution, their biochronologic and biogeographic background and paleoecological and paleoclimatic contexts.
Ouranopithecus turkae, from the late Miocene of Çorakyerler in Central Anatolia, is considered one of the last known occurrences of great ape in the eastern Mediterranean. The Çorakyerler fauna has ...previously been correlated with MN 11 to early MN 12 on the basis of biochronology, and its faunal composition has been found to contrast with those from contemporaneous sites. In this paper, we present the magnetostratigraphy of the Çorakyerler site and an expanded interpretation of its paleobiogeographical and paleoecological contexts. The paleomagnetic results reveal two intervals of normal polarity and an intervening interval of reversed polarity in the main fossiliferous section. Of the three likely age correlations spanning 8.13–7.15 Ma (MN 11-MN 12), we favor correlation with chron 4n, with a possible age range of the fossiliferous deposit between 8.11 and 7.64 Ma (late MN 11). The geographic distribution of genus-level faunal similarity and mean hypsodonty show that Çorakyerler is a typical representative of the Pikermian chronofauna with a wide range of faunal similarity, including late Miocene localities from the eastern Mediterranean, eastern Asia, and eastern Africa. Lithological and sedimentological characteristics of the fossiliferous horizon, however, indicate a lacustrine depositional environment and relatively humid local conditions within the more arid regional context. This special setting could explain the unexpected occurrence of a hominid primate at Çorakyerler.

The energy and exergy analyzes of the air-based PVT system were investigated. In addition, the temperature distribution of the panel surface and air velocity distribution of the cooling channel was analyzed with ANSYS Fluent and was compared experimental datas. Experiments were performed for the empty, the frequent and the sparse fins status. As a result of using the sparse and frequent fins compared to the empty status, the exergy efficiency of the polycrystal and the monocrystal panels is approximately increased by 70% and 30% respectively. The thermal efficiency of their is approximately increased by 55% and 70% respectively. It has been observed that the panel surface temperature for all configurations has approximately decreased between 10 and 15 °C. The temperature contour images obtained by means of ANSYS Fluent were agreement with the experimentally obtained values. The air velocity of regions near fins is more slowly because of the friction effect and the viscous forces, it is faster and more laminar at the regions in the inlet-outlet of the air channel and at regions in between of fins.
Sunulan çalışma, esnek bir uydu kanadı için doğrusal kuadratik regülatör (LQR) denetleyici parametrelerinin çok amaçlı optimizasyonunda Yapay Arı Kolonisi ve Guguk Kuşu metasezgisel optimizasyon ...algoritmalarının tasarımı ve performans analizi hakkında ayrıntılar sunmaktadır. Kontrol yanıtlarının önemli parametreleri göz önünde bulundurularak yeni bir çoklu amaç fonksiyonu tasarlanmış ve Yapay Arı Kolonisi (ABC) ve Guguk Kuşu (CS) metasezgisel algoritmaları ile optimize edilmiştir. Algoritmaların başlangıç değerleri için farklı farklı üçer konfigürasyon belirlenerek bu konfigürasyonlar üç farklı (10,50 ve 100) popülasyon boyutu değerleri için 100 iterasyonda simülasyonlar yapılarak elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Daha başarılı kontrol yanıtlarına ulaşan konfigürasyonlar ile literatürde aynı düzenek ile yapılan bazı çalışmalar karşılaştırılmaktadır. Elde edilen sonuçlar literatürde mevcut bulunan, PSO, m-PSO algoritmaları ve geleneksel tasarlanmış LQR denetleyici çalışmaları ile kıyaslanarak önerilen yaklaşımın etkinliği gösterilmiştir. Önerilen çoklu amaç fonksiyonu ve Guguk Kuşu Algoritması, esnek uydu kanadı sapma açısında PSO algoritmasına kıyasla %37,56 ve m-PSO algoritması ile karşılaştırıldığında ise %61,87 oranında daha üstün bir performans göstermiştir.
