This study was conducted to study the environment effects on live weight, carcass weight, dressing percentage, eye muscle area, backfat thickness, and marbling score, which are the carcass traits of ...Hanwoo, based on the estimates and all the possible regression for the selection of variable and significance test for 231,382 heads that underwent the carcass measurements. The average and standard deviation for the live weight, carcass weight, dressing percentage, eye muscle area, backfat thickness, and marbling score were 654.79${\pm}$91.61 kg, 362.30${\pm}$67.15 kg, 59.52${\pm}$0.03%, 81.79${\pm}$12.21 $cm^2$, 11.39${\pm}$5.40 mm, 4.38${\pm}$2.29, respectively. The live weight, carcass weight, dressing percentage, eye muscle area, backfat thickness, and marbling score for cow were 532.79${\pm}$78.38 kg, 313.40${\pm}$44.90 kg, 56.50${\pm}$0.03%, 75.24${\pm}$10.69 $cm^2$, 11.82${\pm}$5.10 mm, 4.30${\pm}$2.06, respectively, while for bull were 619.74${\pm}$93.27 kg, 376.89${\pm}$48.62 kg, 58.61${\pm}$0.02%, 85.61${\pm}$10.46 $cm^2$, 5.64${\pm}$2.71 mm, 1.41${\pm}$0.83, respectively, and for steer were 681.78${\pm}$70.72 kg, 415.23${\pm}$49.43 kg, 60.19${\pm}$0.02%, 88.29${\pm}$10.27 $cm^2$, 12.71${\pm}$5.23 mm, 5.42${\pm}$1.99, respectively. In the environmental variables selection based on the variables selection method, the examination by carcass traits suggested that the most appropriate model could be determined when five variables were selected for the live weight, carcass weight, dressing percentage, eye muscle area, and four variables for backfat thickness, and marbling score. When they were considered at a time altogether based on multiple traits, it was deemed to be desirable to insert all five variables into the variables for analysis. In addition, high significance was found by carcass traits. 2006년부터 2009년까지 축산물품질평가원에서 등급 판정된 도체성적이 있는 개체와 한국종축개량협회에 등록이 확인된 231,382 두의 자료를 이용하여 각 도체형질의 자료구조 분석 등을 살펴보고, 각 요인별로 도체형질에 어떠한 영향을 주는 지에 대한 환경효과 등을 분석하고, 변수선택법 등을 이용하여 향후 유전능력평가에서 사용 가능한 통계모형 찾아내고자 실시하였다. 한우 암, 수, 거세를 포함한 전체집단에서 출하체중, 도체율, 등 지방두께, 근내지방도에서 정규분포를 보이고 있었고, 다른 형질은 정규분포에 근접함을 확인할 수 있었다. 각 요인에 대한 분산분석에서는 한우 도체형질에 대하여 성별, 출생년도-계절, 도축년도-계절, 출생지역, 도축일령의 모두 고도의 유의성(p<0.01)이 인정되었다. 변수선택법을 이용한 모형적합도 검정에서는 출하체중, 도체중, 도체율, 배최장근단면적은 다섯 가지 환경효과를 선택하는 것이 최적이었고, 등지방두께와 근내지방도는 네 가지 환경효과를 고려하는 것이 최적이었지만, 다형질 분석으로 한 번에 분석을 하기 위해서는 다섯 가지 환경효과를 함께 고려하는 것이 적합하다고 사료된다.

This study was conducted to estimate heritabilities and genetic correlations among carcass weight and body type measurements(Wither height, Rump height, Body length, Chest depth, Chest width, Rump ...length, Rump width, Thurl width, Hipbone width, Chest girth) obtained from 1,587 records of Hanwoo steers in National Hanwoo Contest.
Based on EM-REML algorithm, this study estimated genetic parameters of the carcass weight and body type measurements that greatly affect Hanwoo's carcass grade and body type.
The means and standard deviations of each trait were 377.30±45.59kg, 136.14±4.51cm, 137.79±4.62cm, 157.77±6.97cm, 77.55±3.62cm, 51.72±4.30cm, 55.04±3.19cm, 50.21±2.96cm, 48.29±2.94cm, 29.12±2.04cm, and 217.31±11.36cm for Carcass weight, Wither height, Rump height, Body length, Chest depth, Chest width, Rump length, Rump width, Thurl width, Hipbone width and Chest girth, respectively.
As a result of analysis on the effects by the birth year, the Carcass weight, Wither height, Rump height, Body length, Chest depth, Chest width, Rump length, Rump width, Thurl width, and Chest girth came out highest as 413.4±37.5kg, 138.4±4.1cm, 139.9±4.3cm, 162.1±5.7cm, 80.8±2.5cm, 55.3±3.7cm, 58.0±3.3cm, 52.9±2.4cm, 50.9±2.8cm and 225.9±8.3cm, respectively in 2005. As a result of analysis on the effects by the birth season, the carcass weight and body type measurements came out highest, respectively in spring. As a result of the analysis on the effects by the birth location, all of the traits came out highest, respectively in Gangwon.
In the majority of carcass weights and body type measurements, statistically significant differences were observed depending on the location of birth.
The heritabilities of the carcass weight, chest width and chest girth were estimated as 0.242, 0.221 and 0.264 respectively. These heritabilities of such traits were higher than those of other traits(withers height, rump height, body length etc.).
Genetic correlation coefficients were estimated to be 0.944 between wither height and rump height, 0.822 between carcass weight and chest width, 0.769 between carcass weight and chest girth.
From the results above, if the carcass weight should be improved by body type measurements of Hanwoo steer, it seemed that such factors as, chest width, chest girth, body length and withers height, which have relatively higher genetic correlations with carcass weight, should be considered. Background : This study compared the bronchodilator efficacy and safety of tiotropium inhalation capsules ($18{\mu}g$ once daily) with a ipratropium metered dose inhaler (2 puffs of $20{\mu}g$ ...q.i.d.) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Method : After the initial screening assessment and a two-week run-in period, patients received either tiotropium $18{\mu}g$ once daily or ipratropium $40{\mu}g$ four times daily over a period of 4 weeks in a double blind, double dummy, parallel group study. The outcome measures were the lung function, the daily records of the peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR), the patients' questionnaire, and the use of concomitant salbutamol. The forced expiratory volume in one second ($FEV_1$) and the forced vital capacity (FVC) were measured 5 minutes before inhalation, and 0.5, 1, 2 and 3 hours after inhaling the study drug on days 0, 14 and 28. Result : In 16 centers, 134 patients with a mean (SD) age of 66 (7) years and a predicted $FEV_1$ of 42 (12)% were analyzed. The trough $FEV_1$ response was significantly higher in the tiotropium group than in the ipratropium group after a four-week treatment period. The weekly mean morning PEFR of the tiotropium group was consistently higher than that of the ipratropium group during the 4-week treatment period with differences ranging from 12.52 to 13.88 l/min, which were statistically significant. Tiotropium was well tolerated by the COPD patients during the 4-week treatment period and had a similar safety profile to ipratropium. Conclusion : This study shows that tiotropium administrated once daily has a superior bronchodilator effect with a similar safety profile in treating COPD patients compared with ipratropium, inhaled four times daily. 연구배경 : 본 연구는 COPD환자를 대상으로 기관지확장제인 tiotropium 1일 1회, 1회 1캅셀 $18{\mu}g$과 ipratropium 1일 4회, 1회 2퍼프(퍼프당 $20{\mu}g$)의 유효성 및 안전성을 비교 평가하고자 하였다. 방 법 : 초기 선별방문 후, 환자는 2주간의 관찰기간에 들어갔으며, 이 기간을 마친 환자는 이중맹검, 무작위배정 하에 위약과 함께 1일 1회 tiotropium 또는 1일 4회 ipratropium을 투여 받았다. 유효성평가는 폐기능검사, 일중 PEFR측정, 환자평가 설문조사, 보조치료약물(살부타몰) 사용량으로 하였다. 폐기능검사는 치료시작 시(0일), 치료 14일후와 치료종료 시(28일)에 하였는데, 이때 투약 5분 전, 투약 후 30분, 60분, 120분 및 180분에 시행하였다. 결 과 : 16개 기관에서 134명의 환자가 분석되었다. 환자의 평균 (표준편차) 나이는 66 (7)세이었고 $FEV_1$은 예측치의 42 (12)%였다. 4주 치료 후 trough $FEV_1$ 반응은 ipratropium군에 비해 tiotropium군에서 유의하게 높았으며 PEFR경우에도 4주 동안 지속적으로 아침 흡입 전 측정한 PEFR이 tiotropium군에서 높게 나타났다(차이: 12.52-13.88 l/min). 4주 치료 기간동안 tiotropium은 좋은 내약성과 함께, ipratropium과 유사한 안전성을 나타냈다. 결 론 : 1일 1회 흡입용 항콜린제제인 tiotropium이 1일 4회 흡입용제제인 ipratropium에 비해 COPD환자를 치료하는데 더 우수한 기관지확장 반응을 보여주었고 안전성에서는 유사하였다.
We fabricated trench PbZr x Ti 1-x O 3 (PZT) capacitors that can be used in 256Mbit 1T-1C FRAM devices. The capacitor has 0.25mum diameter and 0.4mum depth. Three layers, Ir(20nm)/PZT(60nm)/Ir(20nm), ...were deposited in SiO 2 trench holes by ALD and MOCVD. Both columnar and granular grains were formed on the sidewalls of the trench capacitors, and their relative portion had strong size dependence. The trench capacitors with more columnar PZT grains showed good switching behavior under 2.1V external bias and 19 to 24 muC/cm 2 remnant polarization
