Laser-Induced Thermal Imaging (LITI) is a laser addressed patterning process and has unique advantages such as high-resolution patterning with over all position accuracy of the imaged stripes of ...within 2.5 micrometer and scalability to large-size mother glass. This accuracy is accomplished by real-time error correction and a high-resolution stage control system that includes laser interferometers. Here the new concept of hybrid system that complement the merits of small molecule and polymer to be used as an OLED; our system can realize easy processing of light emitting polymers and high luminance efficiency of small molecules. LITI process enables the stripes to be patlerned with excellent thickness uniformity and multi-stacking of various functional layers without having to use any type of fine metal shadow mask. In this study, we report a full-color hybrid OLED using the multi-layered structure consisting of small molecules and polymers.

This paper suggests an evolutionary Web page classification method that originated from the need to enhance today's classification performance of Web pages. Words that are utilized in certain Web ...pages are used to characterize that specific Web page. However, treating every word as a possible feature in a Web page classification does not guarantee a better classification performance. In response to this demand, this paper introduces one of the statistical analysis methods known as the principal component analysis (PCA) in order to reduce a large-scaled feature vector down to a smaller scaled feature vector containing a few chief elements and presents a result of simulation experiments to verify the reduction of feature vector size and the improvements of Web page classification-ability. For the classification-ability experiment, Yahoo, com's sports News Web page section was experimented under the Naive Bayesian classification algorithm. The results of this experiment verified that the suggested method of news Web page classification algorithm used in this paper was indeed providing satisfactory accuracy in Web page classification among the sports-news database
The paper suggests a new architecture for 2-dimensional (2-D) chip-to-chip optical interconnection system. To demonstrate a high-capacity and 2-D optical interconnection based on an optical printed ...circuit board, we designed and fabricated an optical platform which is composed of the 2-D optical transmitter/receiver modules, a 2 layered fiber-and connector-embedded printed circuit board, as a large area advanced board, and compact 90deg-bent fiber blocks with 2 times 6 fiber channels. After the assembly of the optical platform, we measured the approximate -5.3 dB total link loss between the transmitter and the receiver. An optical link at a 3-Gb/s/ch data rate was successfully demonstrated.
This paper focuses on the development of AP (Access Points) allocation simulation programs intended to enable deployment of RTLS (Real Time Location System) in construction sites. This study aims to ...develop a simulation program that specifies the minimum number of APs (access points) and optimizes their locations. AP is a critical element in location-tracking systems in construction sites in reference to acquired 3D spatial data of structures under construction using terrestrial LiDAR, state-of-the-art field surveying technique. Achievement made herein will provide a platform for real-time monitoring system in construction sites that tracks locations of various construction resources (equipment, material, labor, etc.) and contributes to the improvement of efficiency and safety in construction projects.

This study was examined to find out asbestos exposure level the factors which affected the level at asbestos abatement sites. We visited a total of thirteen building demolition sites(3 apartments, 3 ...schools, 4 stores, and 3 houses) were visited to collect samples and related data from August to November, 2006. The results of this study were as follows 1. The results of an analysis of bulk samples to identify types of asbestos at the asbestos abatement sites showed that the kinds of the asbestos detected were chrysotile by 50.0%, were tremolite by 2.6%, and were the contents of chrysotile by 3 to 20%. 2. The geometric mean concentration of asbestos was 0.007 f/cc(range 0.001-0.34 f/cc) and its geometric standard deviation was 5.83. Of the samples, however, 12 exceeded the Korean Occupational Exposure Limit(0.1f/cc). 3. Of the materials, textile material had the highest concentration with geometric mean of 0.016 f/cc. When asbestos-containing materials were removed using T type tools, the geometric mean concentration of asbestos was 0.061 f/cc. The level by this method was much higher than by other removal methods. In analysis by the type of building, the geometric mean concentration of asbestos in stores was 0.042 f/cc and was higher than in other buildings. 4. The Poisson regression analysis was applied to find out the factors that affect the airborne asbestos concentration. As a result of the analysis, removal using a T type tool was the most important factor affecting the asbestos concentration(p<0.01). In conclusion, the airborne asbestos concentration(geometric mean) in asbestos abatement sites was 0.007 f/cc(0.001~0.34 f/cc), and 12(14.6%) of all samples were over the 0.1 f/cc. These results showed that asbestos abatement workers have been exposed to the high level of airborne asbestos because they have not been keeping asbestos removal rule. In accordance with increases of the number of building demolition sites, the better government regulation on asbestos abatement methods should be made and be performed well at building demolition sites.

Rogowski coil is made having no ferromagnetic material in a core. So the coil cannot be driven into saturation. This result in that Rogowski coils may be calibrated at relatively low currents, and ...used with confidence at very high currents. However the lowest level of current that can be measured is limited by the sensitivity of the voltage measuring instrument and system noise. Therefore, geometrical effects were investigated in order to measure high sensitivity of low level current and the significant source of error was examined as well. In the results, the sources of error were associated with coil designs, i.e. shape, uniformity and a geometrical location of current source inside and outside of the Rogowski coil.
