Design
A cross-sectional study.
Settings/participants
From March to October 2021, 283 ...cancer patients in the follow-up period were recruited from the oncology departments of four secondary and above hospitals and cancer friendship associations in Nantong city using self-developed scale of adaptability to return to work for cancer patients by convenience sampling method.
Methods
The contents included general sociodemographic data, disease-related data, cancer patients’ readability to work Scale, Medical Coping Style Questionnaire, Social Support Rating Scale, Family Closeness and Readability Scale, General self-efficacy Scale and Social impact Scale. Paper questionnaires were used for face-to-face data collection, and SPSS17.0 was used for statistical analysis. Univariable analyses and multiple linear regression analysis were conducted.
Results
The overall score of cancer patients' adaptability to return to work was (87.05±20.255), (22.54±4.234) for the dimension of focused rehabilitation, (32.02±9.013) for the dimension of reconstruction effectiveness, and (32.49±9.023) for the dimension of adjustment planning. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the current return to full-time work (
β
=0.226,
P
0.05), the current return to non-full-time work (
β
=0.184,
P
0.05), yield response (
β
= −0.132,
P
0.05), and general self-efficacy (
β
=0.226,
P
0.05) could affect their return to work adaptation.
Conclusion
The results of status quo and influencing factors showed that the adaptability of cancer patients to return to work was generally higher in this study. Cancer patients who had participated in work, had lower yield coping scores and stigma scores, and higher self-efficacy scores and family adjustment and intimacy scores had better adaptability to return to work again.

Five equiatomic alloys(Ti Zr Hf VNb, Ti Zr Hf VTa, Ti Zr Nb Mo V, Ti Zr Hf Mo V and Zr Nb Mo Hf V) composed of five elements with high melting temperature, respectively were prepared by arc-melting ...to develop a novel high temperature alloy. The five alloys exhibit different dendritic and interdendritic morphologies. The Ti Zr Hf VNb, Ti Zr Hf VTa and Ti Zr Nb Mo V alloys formed disordered solid solution phases with body-centered cubic structure, and exhibited high compressive strength and good plasticity. The Ti Zr Hf Mo V and Zr Nb Mo Hf V alloys are composed with Laves phase(Hf Mo2) and disordered solid solution phases with body-centered cubic structure. The Ti Zr Hf Mo V and Zr Nb Mo Hf V alloys are harder and more brittle than the other three alloys due to the existence of hard and brittle Laves phases. At high temperatures, the strength decreases to below 300 MPa for the Ti Zr Hf VNb and Ti Zr Hf Mo V alloys. Solution strengthening is the primary strengthening mechanism of the Ti Zr Hf VNb, Ti Zr Hf VTa and Ti Zr Nb Mo V alloys, and brittle Laves phase is the main cause for the low ductility of the Ti Zr Hf Mo V and Zr Nb Mo Hf V alloys.
•The solubility data was measured by the gravimetric method.•The experimental values were correlated by modified Apelblat, λh, ideal and polynomial empirical equation.•The solvent effect was ...investigated with Kamlet-Taft parameter.•Thermodynamic properties could be characterized based on the solubility data.
In this paper, the solubility of 5,5′-bis(2,4,6-trinitrophenyl)-2,2′-bis(1,3,4-oxadiazole) (TKX-55) in methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, formic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, acetonitrile, ethyl acetate, tetrahydrofuran, nitromethane, 1,2-dichloroethane, benzene and 1,4-dioxane was determined at T = (293.15–333.15) K under atmospheric pressure (P = 0.1 MPa) by a gravimetric method. The results showed that the solubility increases with rise of temperature in all selected solvents. Additionally, the solvent effect on TKX-55 solubility was investigated with Kamlet-Taft parameters. Moreover, Hansen solubility parameter was used for explaining the solubility order of TKX-55 in selected solvents, the consequences showed that solubility order of TKX-55 resulted from the comprehensive function of several solubility parameters. The solubility parameter of Δδt between TKX-55 and solvents reached from 0.17 MPa0.5 to 8.68 MPa0.5. The interaction energy (Einter) between TKX-55 and selected solvents was calculated by molecular simulation to explain the solubility behavior. Activity coefficient was to access the solute-solvent molecular interactions. Besides, the solubility values were correlated by the modified Apelblat equation, λh equation, the polynomial empirical equation, and ideal equation, and the results showed that all models can give a satisfactory correlation. The average root-mean-square deviation (106RMSD) values were 14.57, 33.08, 8.523 and 30.29, respectively. On the basis of the van’t Hoff and Gibbs equations, the thermodynamic properties exhibited by TKX-55 (i.e., standard dissolution enthalpy (ΔdisHo), standard dissolution entropy (ΔdisSo) and standard dissolution Gibbs free energy (ΔdisGo)) in the selected solvents were characterized and then discussed from the experiment data. As revealed from the result, TKX-55 in solvents selected showed a non-spontaneous process. The excess enthalpy of solution was estimated on the basis of λh equation. And solid-liquid surface tension (γ) and surface entropy factor (f) of TKX-55 were estimated by using the experimental solubility data. Furthermore, the experimental solubility values, model parameters, and thermodynamic properties of TKX-55 in different pure solvents will provide the necessary support for its preparation, crystallization process, and further theoretical studies.
The preparation of amorphous matrix composite coatings by laser cladding is a applicable approach to improve the surface properties of Mg and Mg alloys. Rare earth elements significantly affect the ...corrosion and wear resistance of the coatings by influencing the quantity, morphology and distribution of crystalline phases. In the presented work, Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 + x wt% Nd2O3 (x = 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3) composite coatings were prepared by laser cladding on the AZ91D Mg alloy. The coatings were composed of dendrites, cellular grains, Nd enriched spherical structure and amorphous matrix. Appropriate Nd2O3 addition can refine the size of crystalline microstructure, purify oxygen impurities and increase amorphous content of the coatings, but excessive addition of Nd2O3 (2–3 wt%) causes aggregation and abnormal growth of some crystalline phases and deteriorates the glass forming ability of the coatings. Corrosion resistance of the coating with 1.5 wt% Nd2O3 is the most excellent relying on the highest amorphous and the lowest crystalline phases contents in this coating. Wear resistance of the coatings is all greatly improved compared with the Mg substrate, however that are no linearly related to the hardness and do not follow completely the Archard's wear equation.

The popularity of capillary electrochromatography (CEC) has led to an increasing number of studies on the development and evaluation of enantioselective CEC systems. Herein, a novel, simple, and ...economical method for the preparation of chiral stationary phases for enantioselective open tubular capillary electrochromatography (OTCEC) was reported for the first time. This novel capillary column was fabricated through layer-by-layer self-assembly of GNPs on a 3-mercaptopropyl-trimethoxysilane (MPTMS)-modified fused-silica capillary and subsequent surface functionalization of the GNPs through self-assembly of thiols β-cyclodextrin (SH-β-CD). With this method, monolayer and multilayer GNPs film capillary columns were prepared and evaluated using meptazinol and its three intermediate enantiomers as templates. Consequently, the three-layer GNPs capillary column was found to exhibit favorable enantioseparation performance. Factors that influence the chiral separation resolution were examined. Under the optimized conditions, enantioselectivity was obtained for meptazinol and its three intermediate enantiomers (intermediates Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ) in less than 20min with resolutions of 2.05, 0.36, 1.67, 1.53, respectively. The proposed column revealed adequate repeatability concerning run-to-run and day-to-day. In brief, these results confirmed the use of GNPs as the electrochromatographic support can enhance the phase ratio of OTC column in capillary electrochromatography (CEC). Then, this proposed method was well validated with good linearity (≥0.999), recovery (92.0–94.5%) and repeatability, and was successfully used for enantioseparation of meptazinol in spiked urine samples, which indicated the new column's potential usage in biological analysis.

In this work, different positive voltages of a pulsed waveform, time intervals and electrolyte stirring were used to prepare by anodization of pure titanium plates, a series of TiO2 thin films based ...on nanotubes with different morphologies and dimensions. Electrolyte stirring results in large size TiO2 nanotubes with uneven surface morphology and less oriented directions. The titanium plates containing the TiO2 thin films were further annealed at 450A degree C for 30min under air. It was found that only crystalline anatase was formed under this condition. Both methylene blue degradation and antibacterial tests against Escherichia coli were performed to evaluate the photocatalytic performance of these TiO2 films. Better methylene blue degradation ability was achieved by TiO2 nanotubes prepared under electrolyte stirring. However, the antibacterial ability of the annealed TiO2 nanotubes was affected by their inner diameter rather than their length. It is also concluded that the anodized TiO2 nanotube arrays fabricated in this work are promising for photo-induced methylene blue degradation and bacteria killing applications.

The frequency range of electroacupuncture in treatment of Alzheimer's disease in rats is commonly 2-5 Hz(low frequency) and 50-100 Hz(high frequency). We established a rat model of Alzheimer's ...disease by injecting β-amyloid 1-42(Aβ1-42) into the bilateral hippocampal dentate gyrus to verify which frequency may be better suited in treatment. Electroacupuncture at 2 Hz or 50 Hz was used to stimulate Baihui(DU20) and Shenshu(BL23) acupoints. The water maze test and electrophysiological studies demonstrated that spatial memory ability was apparently improved, and the ranges of long-term potentiation and long-term depression were increased in Alzheimer's disease rats after electroacupuncture treatment. Moreover, the effects of electroacupuncture at 50 Hz were better than that at 2 Hz. These findings suggest that high-frequency electroacupuncture may enhance hippocampal synaptic transmission and potentially improve memory disorders in Alzheimer's disease rats.
