Accurate product price forecasting is helpful for scientific decision-making and precise industrial planning. As a characteristic fruit that drives regional development, mango price prediction is of ...great significance to several economies. However, owing to the strong volatility of mango prices, forecasting is vulnerable to uncertainties and is very challenging. In this study, a deep-learning combination forecasting model based on a back-propagation (BP) long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network is proposed. Using daily mango price data from a large fruit wholesale trading center in China from January 2nd, 2014, to April 18th, 2022, mango price changes are learned and predicted to support the fruit industry. The results show that the root mean-square error, mean absolute percentage error, and the R2 determination coefficient of the BP-LSTM combination model are 0.0175, 0.14%, and 0.9998, respectively. The prediction results of the combined model are better than those of the separate BP and LSTM models. Furthermore, it best fits the actual price profile and has better generalizability.
The underwater wireless sensor network is an important component of the underwater three-dimensional monitoring system. Due to the high bit error rate, high delay, low bandwidth, limited energy, and ...high dynamic of underwater networks, it is very difficult to realize efficient and reliable data transmission. Therefore, this paper posits that it is not enough to design the routing algorithm only from the perspective of the transmission environment; the comprehensive design of the data transmission algorithm should also be combined with the application. An edge prediction-based adaptive data transmission algorithm (EP-ADTA) is proposed that can dynamically adapt to the needs of underwater monitoring applications and the changes in the transmission environment. EP-ADTA uses the end–edge–cloud architecture to define the underwater wireless sensor networks. The algorithm uses communication nodes as the agents, realizes the monitoring data prediction and compression according to the edge prediction, dynamically selects the transmission route, and controls the data transmission accuracy based on reinforcement learning. The simulation results show that EP-ADTA can meet the accuracy requirements of underwater monitoring applications, dynamically adapt to the changes in the transmission environment, and ensure efficient and reliable data transmission in underwater wireless sensor networks.
Intragastric pH acts an important role in the disintegration of food and therapeutic drugs. The generation of some gastric diseases, such as gastric ulcer, gastritis or gastric cancer, may affect the ...normal secretion of gastric acid, causing abnormal pH in the stomach. Thus, monitoring the pH-fluctuations in stomach could aid the diagnosis of several gastric diseases and in understanding therapeutic effect. Herein, we developed a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent probe (Cyp) for the real-time and in-situ imaging pH changes in vitro and in vivo. The probe was designed by integrating dimethylamine moiety into cyanine (Cy7) and displayed an increasing NIR emission with pKa values of ca. 4.38 in PBS buffer from pH 2.0 and 7.0. Moreover, the robust probe can detect the pH fluctuations in the living cells during autophagy and drug stimulation. Importantly, the unique probe Cyp could dynamically and real-time in situ image the pH fluctuations in gastrointestinal caused by anti-acid medicine with deep penetration. As a typical gastric disease, gastric ulcer was successfully diagnosed by using the powerful pH probe, for the first time. Both the in vitro and in vivo experiments show that the robust probe has a potential application in imaging-guided gastric diseases diagnostics and therapeutics.

A near-infrared fluorescent probe for sensing the changes of pH in vitro and in vivo was synthesized. With the robust probe, we successfully visualized the pH fluctuations in the living cells during autophagy, drug stimulation. Cyp is able to dynamically and in situ detect intragastric pH variations in living mice during the acid suppression therapy, for the first time. Notably, the unique probe can be efficaciously applied for the diagnosis of gastric injury for the first time by using in vivo imaging technology.

Subcontinental lithospheric mantle (SCLM) metasomatized by recycled components from oceanic subduction zone constitutes a fertile source for some of world's most important hydrothermal Au-rich ore ...systems. However, a widely recognized time gap exists between subduction initiation, regional contraction, and Au-ore formation at continental edges, which makes it unclear when and how the subduction and orogenic processes contributed to the ore formation. The North China craton (NCC) hosts giant Mesozoic lode gold deposits at its edge and has undergone multistage subduction history, which provides an ideal opportunity to illustrate this issue. Here we present a comprehensive lead isotope study on major Early Cretaceous lode gold deposits of the NCC and show that the gold was derived from a metasomatized SCLM rather than the crustal basement. Furthermore, the data shows that subduction of the (paleo-) Pacific did not likely provide significant amount of metals for the contemporaneous gold mineralization during the Early Cretaceous. Instead, the gold was most likely derived from the SCLM underlying the NCC, previously fertilized by the sedimentary sequences overlying the Yangtze craton during Early Paleozoic to Early Mesozoic subduction. This study emphasizes the fundamental role of the metasomatized SCLM in the formation of lode gold deposits in the NCC, and possibly other Au-rich ore systems worldwide, and explains the close, temporal relations between tectonic extension and the formation of Au-rich ore systems.
The application prospects of composite sponges with antibacterial and drug-carrying functions in the field of medical tissue engineering are extensive. A solution of cassava silk fibroin (CSF) was ...prepared with Ca(NO3)2 as a solvent, which was then combined with chitosan (CS) to create a sponge-porous material by freeze-drying. The CSF-CS composite sponge with a mesh structure was successfully fabricated through hydrogen bonding. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared absorption (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were employed to investigate the appearance and structure of the cassava silk’s fibroin materials, specifically examining the impact of different mass percentages of CS on the sponge’s structure. The swelling rate and mechanical properties of the CSF-CS sponge were analyzed, along with its antibacterial properties. Furthermore, by incorporating ibuprofen as a model drug into these loaded sponges, their potential efficacy as efficient drug delivery systems was demonstrated. The results indicate that the CSF-CS sponge possesses a three-dimensional porous structure with over 70% porosity and an expansion rate exceeding 400% while also exhibiting good resistance against pressure. Moreover, it exhibits excellent drug-carrying ability and exerts significant bacteriostatic effects on Escherichia coli. Overall, these findings support considering the CSF-CS composite sponge as a viable candidate for use in drug delivery systems or wound dressings.

Finally, it is found that the optimal homogenization regime of the Al-Cu-Mg-Ag alloy is 420 °C/5 h+480 °C/8 h+515 °C/24 h.
A fluorescent carbon dots probe for the detection of aqueous nitrite was fabricated by a one-pot hydrothermal method, and the transmission electron microscope, X-ray diffractometer, UV–Vis absorption ...spectrometer and fluorescence spectrophotometer were used to study the property of carbon dots. The fluorescent property of carbon dots influenced by the concentration of aqueous nitrite was studied. The interaction between the electron-donating functional groups and the electron-accepting nitrous acid could account for the quenching effect on carbon dots by adding aqueous nitrite. The products of the hydrolysis of aqueous nitrite performed a stronger quenching effect at lower pH. The relationship between the relative fluorescence intensity of carbon dots and the concentration of nitrite was described by the Stern–Volmer equation (I0/I − 1 = 0.046Q) with a fine linearity (R2 = 0.99). The carbon dots-based probe provides a convenient method for the detection of nitrite concentration.
The Junggar Basin is a Permian foreland basin. Organic-rich shale is widely developed in the Permian Lucaogou Formation in the southern margins of this basin. However, little research has been done ...to investigate the rare earth element (REE) features of the Lucaogou Formation shale. In this study, we use elemental methods to analyze the REE features and geological information of the Lucaogou Formation shale. Results suggest that the total REE contents of lower member and upper member of Lucaogou Formation are less than those of the upper continental crust and the North American Shale Composite. The chondrite-normalized and primitive mantle-normalized patterns of the lower member and upper member both suggest similar distribution trend and negative Eu anomaly. indicate that the Lucaogou Formation shale is in the stage of early diagenesis. Source area analysis suggest that the Lucaogou Formation shale mainly derived from the mixture of Carboniferous felsic and basic volcanic rocks. Tectonic background of these areas should belong to the continental island arc. Sedimentary conditions of the lower member were humid climate. Water body conditions were alkaline and salty with low oxygen content. Furthermore, sedimentary conditions of the upper member were dry climate. Water body conditions were acid and fresh with high oxygen content. This study would be of great significance for the evaluation of shale oil and gas in the Lucaogou Formation.
Since the existence of high-density gas voids, Ti3C2Tx (MXene), especially aerogels, whose diverse surface chemistry and porous hollow structure break the continuity of the heat transmission path and ...effectively reduce its thermal conductivity, has broad prospects in the field of new thermal insulation materials. Herein, MXene and carbonized bagasse fiber (CBF) are compounded into a special aerogel through hydroxyethyl cellulose, which not only reduces its cost but also improves its thermal insulation and mechanical properties. MXene/CBF aerogels have low thermal conductivity (69 mW·m−1·K−1) and excellent compressive stress (1.04 MPa), which make them to be used in the field of environmental protection and heat insulation materials.
