El presente trabajo relata algunos ejemplos de experiencia práctica de traducción dramática realizada para proyectos finalizados a la puesta en escena. Se tratan las traducciones de tres obras de ...Eduardo Pavlovsky, El Señor Laforgue y Telarañas, traducidas al italiano, y Potestad, traducida al esloveno. Asimismo, se reflexiona sobre algunas cuestiones de carácter traductológico que plantea el idioma judeoespañol.

Two processes that the author combines in her dramatic work, either through conflicts between generations or through convergences between them. We present some of her texts as an example of her way of considering theater, where we find no gap between the dramatic text and the performance.
In this paper, we will look into the work of Laura Papo Bohoreta, a Sephardic author who lived and created in the first half of the twentieth century. Given that all her works are written in her ...native Jewish-Spanish language, our goal in this work is to point out the specifics of her creativity, in order to bring it closer to a wider readership. We especially aim to emphasize her enlightening role, and the role of guardian of tradition, culture, and language which she created and inherited. A particularly important segment on which her overall creativity is based is the role of women in society at that time. With this work, we will show how Laura Papo, through her female characters and their struggle, paved the way for Sephardic women to achieve their intellectual development and the process of affirming a woman outside her home.
This article analyses the inte- llectual and literary activity carried out by poets Juan Octavio Prenz and Omar Lara as promoters both of Latin American literature in Central Europe -especially in ...Romania and Yugoslavia- and of these countries’ literatures in Latin America. The timespan covered goes from 1977 -when Prenz and Lara first met- to more recent times. More specifically, the article focuses on the works published with KOV, Vršac’s publishing house, on the different stages of the journal Trilce -directed by Omar Lara- and the establishment of LAR (Reunited American Literature) publishing house.
El presente trabajo analiza la actividad que desarrollaron los intelectuales y poetas Juan Octavio Prenz y Omar Lara como promotores de la literatura latino- americana en Europa central, con particular atención a Rumania y Yugoslavia, y la difusión de la literatura de estos países en América Latina. Los años tomados en consideración son a partir del 1977, año en que ambos intelectuales se conocen, y hasta tiempos más recientes. En particular, nos centramos en las publicaciones realizadas en la editorial KOV de Vršac, en as rias etapas que tuvo la revista Trilce, dirigida por Omar Lara, y en el surgimiento de la casa editorial LAR, Literatura Americana Reunida.

This article offers some insights to read Rafael Cansinos Assens’ novel Las luminarias de Janucá. On the one hand is emphasised the documentary character of the story, a filosefardi campaign at the ...beginning of the twentieth century, on the other hand prominence is given to the spiritual testament or legacy left by the author. In his work Cansinos Assens achieves a so-called ‘double return’ of past through a subtle recalling. We point out the close connection that the author creates between his character’s individual destiny and the country’s collective destiny. The article focuses on describing some core points of the story also through the characters who made that campaign. Concepts such as memory chain, transmission of knowledge and tradition, teacher-disciple relationship are some of the topics of this study that could become remarkable keys of interpretation.
En el presente trabajo presentamos, a través de la lectura del relato de Rafael Cansinos Asséns, Monseñor Sabetay, publicado en el libro Los judíos en Sefarad. Episodios y Símbolos1, el impacto que ...genera sobre el autor la entrevista con el gran rabino Sr. D. Sabetay Aruk, nombre en clave del dramaturgo sefardí Šabetay Djaen, que tuvo lugar en Madrid durante el periodo de la II República. Planteamos la lectura a partir de dos espacios y experiencias de vida diferentes que, sin embargo, confluyen en muchos puntos. Es decir, por una parte, desde el espacio español a través del proceso de descubrimiento y aceptación del origen judío del escritor Cansinos Asséns y, por otra, desde el espacio bosnio por medio de la labor, también teatral, del dramaturgo de origen búlgaro, Šabetay Djaen, que desarrolló parte de su actividad en Bosnia.
