A narrative review of papers published from January 2011 to December 2021, after a literature search in selected databases using the terms “pharmacokinetics”, “ibuprofen”, “diclofenac”, “acemetacin”, ...“naproxen”, “etodolac” and “etoricoxib” was performed. From 828 articles identified, only eight met the inclusion criteria. Selective COX-2 inhibitors are associated with higher cardiovascular risk, while non-selective COX inhibitors are associated with higher gastrointestinal risk. NSAIDs with lower renal excretion with phase 2 metabolism are less likely to induce adverse effects and drug-drug interactions. Patients with frequent NSAID use needs, such as elderly patients and patients with cardiovascular disease or impaired renal function, will benefit from lower renal excretion (e.g. acemethacin, diclofenac, and etodolac) (level of evidence 3). Polymedicated patients, elderly patients, and patients with chronic alcohol abuse will be at a lower risk for adverse effects with NSAIDs that undergo phase 2 liver biotransformation, namely, acemethacin and diclofenac (level of evidence 3). Young patients, patients dealing with acute pain, or with active and/or chronic symptomatic gastritis, selective COX-2 inhibitors (celecoxib or etoricoxib) may be a better option (level of evidence 2). Knowing the individual characteristics of the patients, combined with knowledge on basic pharmacology, offers greater safety and better adherence to therapy.
Although there are several NSAIDs options to treat pain, physicians usually take special care to its prescription regarding cardiovascular and gastrointestinal side effects, despite the age of the patient. In this paper, based on the best evidence, the authors present a review of the safest NSAIDs to use in the elderly.

Abstract
The characteristics of urban green space have context-dependent associations with socioeconomic status (SES). Latin American cities provide a unique but understudied context to assess the ...green space-SES associations. We measured the quantity and quality of green space as greenness from satellite-derived Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, and we modeled the relationship between greenness and SES in 371 major Latin American cities between 2000 and 2015. We found that SES was negatively associated with average greenness at city and sub-city scales, which could be explained by urbanization generally improving SES while reducing the provision of green space. About 82% of the cities and 64% of the sub-cities experienced greening or increases in greenness over time. Although with lower average greenness, cities with higher SES had greater greening; however, it was the opposite for sub-cities. We suggest that greening is more likely to take place in peripheral sub-cities where SES tends to be lower. The findings challenge the belief that places with higher SES have better access to environmental resources and amenities; instead, this relationship is context dependent.
Presents the contributions of the Cuca Network Library System (Fortaleza/Ceará) in the context of information mediation and cultural mediation through the promotion and realization of Geek Month, an ...event that aims to awaken in young people the interest for culture and information. It seeks to reflect on the influence caused by geek, nerd and pop culture on its consumer public, characterized, in its great majority, by young people. It analyzes the strategies used by the promoters of the event in terms of the appropriation of knowledge of a type of culture that usually only reaches the most economically favored classes. Regarding methodology, it is used bibliographic research and exploratory research, through quali-quantitative analysis of data obtained through the editions of the Geek Month, from 2017 to 2021 and interviews with librarians and other members of the promoting teams. We conclude that, through the cultural universe presented by Geek Month, we realize the importance of information mediation and cultural mediation, which open paths for the production, circulation and appropriation of knowledge by the subjects, intensifying the struggle and contribution to a less unequal society, which perceives information and culture as social and human rights.
Présente les contributions du système de bibliothèques du réseau Cuca (Fortaleza/Ceará) dans le contexte de la médiation de l'information et de la médiation culturelle à travers la promotion et la réalisation du Geek Month, un événement qui vise à éveiller chez les jeunes l'intérêt pour la culture et l'information. Il cherche à réfléchir à l'influence exercée par la culture geek, nerd et populaire sur son public de consommateurs, caractérisé, dans sa grande majorité, par des jeunes. Elle analyse les stratégies utilisées par les promoteurs de l'événement en ce qui concerne l'appropriation de la connaissance d'un type de culture qui ne touche généralement que les classes économiquement les plus favorisées. En ce qui concerne la méthodologie, il est utilisé la recherche bibliographique et la recherche de nature exploratoire, à travers l'analyse quali-quantitative des données obtenues à travers les éditions du Geek Month, de 2017 à 2021 et les entretiens réalisés avec les bibliothécaires et les autres membres des équipes de promotion. Nous concluons que, à travers l'univers culturel présenté par le Mois du Geek, nous nous rendons compte de l'importance de la médiation de l'information et de la médiation culturelle, qui ouvrent des voies pour la production, la circulation et l'appropriation de la connaissance par les sujets, intensifiant la lutte et la contribution à une société moins inégale, qui perçoit l'information et la culture comme des droits sociaux et humains.
Presenta i contributi del Sistema Bibliotecario della Rete Cuca (Fortaleza/Ceará) nel contesto della mediazione informativa e culturale attraverso la promozione e la realizzazione del Mese del Geek, un evento che mira a risvegliare nei giovani l'interesse per la cultura e l'informazione. Cerca di riflettere sull'influenza esercitata dalla cultura geek, geek e pop sul suo pubblico di consumatori, caratterizzato, nella sua grande maggioranza, da giovani. Analizza le strategie utilizzate dai promotori dell'evento per quanto riguarda l'appropriazione della conoscenza di un tipo di cultura che generalmente raggiunge solo le classi economicamente più favorite. Per quanto riguarda la metodologia, viene utilizzata la ricerca bibliografica e la ricerca di natura esplorativa, attraverso l'analisi quali-quantitativa dei dati ottenuti attraverso le edizioni del Mese del Geek, dal 2017 al 2021 e le interviste condotte con i bibliotecari e gli altri membri dei team promotori. Concludiamo che, attraverso l'universo culturale presentato dal Geek Month, ci rendiamo conto dell'importanza della mediazione informativa e della mediazione culturale, che aprono strade per la produzione, la circolazione e l'appropriazione della conoscenza da parte dei soggetti, intensificando la lotta e il contributo a una società meno diseguale, che percepisce l'informazione e la cultura come diritti sociali e umani.

Analisa as estratégias utilizadas pelos promotores do evento no que tange à apropriação de saberes de um tipo de cultura que geralmente só atingem às classes mais favorecidas economicamente. Em relação à metodologia, utiliza-se de pesquisa bibliográfica e pesquisa de caráter exploratório, através de análise quali-quantitativa de dados obtidos por meio das edições do Mês Geek, de 2017 a 2021 e de entrevista realizada com as bibliotecárias e demais membros das equipes promotoras. Conclui-se que, através do universo cultural apresentado pelo Mês Geek, percebe-se a importância da mediação da informação e da mediação cultural, que abrem caminhos para a produção, circulação e apropriação de saberes por parte dos sujeitos, intensificando a luta e contribuição para uma sociedade menos desigual, que perceba informação e cultura como direitos sociais e humanos.
Presenta las contribuciones del Sistema de Bibliotecas de la Red Cuca (Fortaleza/Ceará) en el contexto de la mediación de la información y la mediación cultural a través de la promoción y realización del Mes Geek, un evento que pretende despertar en los jóvenes el interés por la cultura y la información. Pretende reflexionar sobre la influencia que provoca la cultura geek, friki y pop en su público consumidor, caracterizado, en su gran mayoría, por los jóvenes. Analiza las estrategias utilizadas por los promotores del evento en relación con la apropiación del conocimiento de un tipo de cultura que generalmente sólo llega a las clases económicamente más favorecidas. En cuanto a la metodología, se utiliza la investigación bibliográfica y la investigación de carácter exploratorio, a través del análisis cuali-cuantitativo de los datos obtenidos a través de las ediciones del Mes Geek, de 2017 a 2021 y las entrevistas realizadas a los bibliotecarios y otros miembros de los equipos promotores. Concluimos que, a través del universo cultural presentado por el Mes Geek, nos damos cuenta de la importancia de la mediación informativa y de la mediación cultural, que abren caminos para la producción, circulación y apropiación del conocimiento por parte de los sujetos, intensificando la lucha y la contribución a una sociedad menos desigual, que percibe la información y la cultura como derechos sociales y humanos.
La propuesta de este trabajo es presentar las diferentes motivaciones de los "brasiguayos" para circular en las fronteras entre Paraguay y Brasil, pero específicamente de aquellos que residen en ...municipios paraguayos fronterizos con Brasil. Se realizaron 39 entrevistas a profundidad con "brasiguayos" residentes en Ypehjú, Salto del Guairá y Pedro Juan Caballero. Se constató que la circularidad de los "brasiguayos" en las fronteras nacionales de Paraguay y Brasil es motivada por la demanda de servicios públicos en las áreas de salud y educación, de beneficios asistenciales, por compras, visitas, religión y trabajo. Esas demandas revelan las diferentes estrategias de adaptación y supervivencia de los "brasiguayos" residentes en dicha región y la importancia de sus lazos formales e informales para intercambiar recursos, información y solidaridad que les permitan acceder a bienes y servicios brasileños. The purpose of this work, which is part of a doctoral thesis, is to present the different motivations of "brasiguaios" to move between the border towns of Paraguay and Brazil, more specifically those residing in Paraguayan towns which share a border with Brazil. Thirty-nine in-depth interviews were performed with the "brasiguaios" residents in the towns of Ypehjú, Salto del Guaira and Pedro Juan Caballero. It was found that the circulation of "brasiguaios" between the national border of Paraguay and Brazil is motivated by the demand for public services in the areas of health and education, welfare benefits, for shopping, visiting people, religion and work. These demands reveal the different adaptation and survival strategies of "brasiguaios", the residents living in Paraguayan towns on the border of Brazil, and the importance of their formal and informal ties to share resources, information and solidarity to enable them to access Brazilian goods and services. Moreover, the attention of the policymakers need to be drawn to these regions of Brazil's national borders, since this intense circulation can interfere with the balance of supply and demand for public services in Brazil.
An investigation has been performed on the effect of liquid phase recirculation velocity and increasing influent concentration on the stability and efficiency of an anaerobic sequencing batch reactor ...(ASBR) containing granular biomass. The reactor treated 1.3
L synthetic wastewater at 30
°C in 6
h cycles. Initially the effect of recirculation velocity was investigated employing velocities of 5, 7 and 10
m/h and influent concentration of 500

COD/L. At these velocities, filtered sample organic matter removal efficiencies were 83, 85 and 84%, respectively. A first order kinetic model could also be fitted to the experimental organic matter concentration profiles. The kinetic parameter values of this model were 1.35, 2.36 and 1.00

A pesquisa tem o objetivo de verificar a acurácia das características definidoras do diagnóstico de enfermagem Desempenho do Papel Ineficaz em puérperas. Trata-se de um estudo de acurácia diagnóstica ...realizado com 58 mulheres atendidas em Unidades de Saúde da Família (USF). Utilizou-se uma escala de rastreamento de Depressão Pós-parto para a identificação das características definidoras do referido diagnóstico. Foram calculadas as medidas de sensibilidade, especificidade e seus respectivos intervalos de confiança. O Desempenho do Papel Ineficaz esteve presente em 50,0% das participantes. As características definidoras Adaptação inadequada à mudança, Autocontrole insuficiente e Percepção de papel alteradas apresentaram, simultaneamente, sensibilidade e especificidade significantes, em termos estatísticos. Portanto, tais indicadores clínicos mostraram-se mais acurados para a verificação do diagnóstico de enfermagem Desempenho do papel ineficaz em puérperas.

OBJETIVO: São descritos surtos de salmonelose notificados no período de julho de 1993 a junho de 1997 na região Noroeste do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil, tendo em vista os vários surtos de veiculação ...alimentar ocasionados por Salmonella nessa região. MÉTODO: Foram obtidos 19 inquéritos epidemiológicos para análise de dados, 87 amostras de fezes e 38 amostras de alimentos, incluindo 12 de ovos para análise microbiológica. Cepas de Salmonella foram submetidas a sorotipagem, fagotipagem e teste de sensibilidade a 13 agentes antimicrobianos. RESULTADOS: Foram acometidas 906 pessoas com 295 hospitalizações. Cepas de Salmonella Enteritidis Fagotipo 4 foram isoladas de 80,5% das coproculturas, de todas amostras de alimentose de 41,7% dos ovos. Em 22 (95,7%) surtos os a salmonela foi veiculada por alimentos contendo ovos crus ou semicrus. Os testes de sensibilidade a antimicrobianos revelaram sensibilidade à maioria das cepas. CONCLUSÕES: Considerando os resultados obtidos, torna-se necessária a implantação e intensificação de medidas de controle na produção e armazenamento dos ovos, além da orientação à população quanto aos riscos no consumo inadequado desse alimento.
