With Rp = 1.703+/-0.070 RJ, HAT-P-64b is a highly inflated hot Jupiter around a star nearing the end of its main-sequence lifetime, and is among the largest known planets. Five of the seven systems have long-cadence observations by TESS which are included in the analysis. Of particular note is HAT-P-59 (TOI-1826.01) which is within the Northern continuous viewing zone of the TESS mission, and HAT-P-60, which is the TESS candidate TOI-1580.01.
Rare earth elements (REE) are important minerals, especially in the defense sector and the modern high biotechnology production materials industry. REE and heavy metals are found in minerals ...associated with lead deposits. This research was conducted to determine the potential of REE and heavy metals in tailing or waste minerals which are the residual results of mining in tin mining at sea and on land. Sampling locations include primary tin or alluvial tin mines in six locations that represent locations at sea and on land using the analysis of neutron activation analysis (NAA) and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) obtained the potential content of REE and heavy metals deposited in primary mines on land. In tailings samples in active mining carried out on land and at sea there are rare earths and heavy metal contents, although with relatively small amounts.
Abstract
A post-harvest preparation for coffee is black honey process. The post-harvest procedure of roasting affects the flavor and aroma of coffee. This study aimed to examine the color, caffeine ...content, water content, ash content, protein content, carbohydrate content, fat content, analysis of fatty acid content, and cupping test of black honey arabica coffee that treated under different roasting condition. The analytical observation on color, caffeine content, water content, ash content, protein content, carbohydrate content, fat content, fatty acid was conducted and sensory analysis was applied for cupping test. The findings showed that the differences in roasting techniques have a significant influence at the 5% level on the color, moisture content, ash content, carbohydrate content, and fat content of black honey arabica coffee but have no significant impact on the protein content. According to the findings of the cupping test, the best roasting technique was a medium roast. The roasting process under medium roast conditions was known to give the attributes of a brown color due to the Maillard reaction, a specific aroma possibly coming from caramel, citrus, cassia vera and honey, a specific sour taste and a long after taste. The medium roast process has a specific fatty acid profile consisting of myristic acid, palmitic acid and elaidic acid. These characters were the characteristic determinant of the taste produced by Arabica coffee which is processed using black honey post-harvest techniques and roasted with medium conditions.
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare tumor that occurs at any age from childhood to late adulthood and may have a slight male predilection. A 7-year-old female presented with gross ...hematuria and a lump in the lower abdomen since 1 month prior to admission. The complaints were also accompanied by weight loss, abdominal pain and anemia. Ultrasound examination, Cystography, CT-Scan and MRI showed that mass in the bladder. Histopathology examination confirmed diagnosis for IMT, thus, radiology plays an important role in supporting histologic examination for diagnosis and evaluation of IMT.
Blahkiuh Feeder is a 20 kV radial distribution network spanning 78.65 kms, which is the longest network in the Mengwi Network Unit. The length of the distribution lines also results in relatively ...high power losses. Therefore, the installation of distributed generation (DG) utilizing the potential of solar photovoltaic (PV) and micro-hydro power plants (MHP) available at the Sidan Dam has the potential to improve voltage drop and power loss values on the Blahkiuh Feeder. This research was conducted to analyze voltage and power losses due to DG installation at the Sidan Dam, with power flow simulation during peak daytime load at 14:00 and peak nighttime load at 19:00. Simulation results indicate that when interconnected with the daytime peak load at 14:00, DG interconnection results in a decrease in power loss values by 0,8% or 64 kW, and interconnection with the nighttime peak load at 19:00 also leads to a decrease in power loss values by 0.61% or 55 kW. Distributed Generation interconnection on the Blahkiuh Feeder also leads to improvements in voltage values, where interconnection during daytime at 14:00 results in voltage improvement at 41 busbars units under undervoltage condition, and interconnection during night time at 19:00 leads to voltage improvement at only 34 busbars units undervoltage condition out of a total of 50 undervoltage busbars.
Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC) is an indicator to measure the performance of power plants. Its value must be monitored and also predicted so preventive actions and maintenance can be formulated ...accordingly. To develop SFC prediction model, it is important to evaluate which factors are influential toward SFC values, how data collections are made, and which models are the best to use to predict SFC values with high accuracy. This paper provides a preliminary study to support the development of SFC prediction model. The results show that engine loading and type of fuel are the two major factors affecting the SFC values. Data collection to calculate SFC can be obtained through either controlled experiments or direct observations in power plants, each has its own pros and cons. SFC modeling can be done using regressions (linear, polynomial or SVR) and artificial neural network (ANN). Each method can be applied to get the modeling that produces the highest accuracy. However, the accuracy is also highly dependent on the validity of the input data.

The palm oil industry contributes to produce Green House Gases (GHG) from the land conversion sector, energy use, industrial processes and residual waste from palm oil production. Energy is one of ...the important sectors in the inventory of GHG emissions. In energy consumption, GHGs are generated from the use of diesel fuel, burning shells and fiber. In addition to the use of diesel as its main fuel, shells and fiber are utilized for fuel. In this study, the calculation of the amount of emissions produced from palm oil mills in the energy sector was calculated according to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines Volume 2 Chapter 2 concerning the Stationary Combustion. The calculation results obtained by the average emissions produced in observed palm oil mill for the energy sector is 1,570,883 kg CO2/year or 1.5 Gg CO2/year.
This study aims to determine teachers' ability to address science from socio-scientific issues (SSI) as predictors of scientific literacy that consider as a black box in schools. A total of 25 junior ...high school science teachers in some areas of East Java volunteered to be involved in this survey. Data collected by addressing macroscopic issues (AMI) tests and questionnaires were analyzed descriptively through content analysis and percentage. The results indicate that science teachers generally have difficulty in addressing science from SSI. The authentication worksheet shows that almost all AMI that can be addressed only reaches 50% maximum. Less than 50% of science teachers have heard of scientific literacy but have not been able to describe it. The implication, the student may not become a scientifically literate person if teachers are not scientifically literate, and SSI is not involved in the learning process.
The growing interest in spicy foods leads to the global demand for spices, particularly dried chili. This study aimed to assay both aflatoxin (AFs) and ochratoxin A (OTA) contamination using an ...integrative method of morphological identification, molecular detection, and chromatography analysis on dried chili provided from traditional and modern markets in Indonesia. The results showed that total fungal infection ranged from 1-408 × 10
CFU/g. Eighty percent of the chili obtained from both the traditional and the modern markets were infected by
spp., in which 50% of the infections were identified as
and
. A complete set of targeted genes involved in AF production and OTA were detected in two isolates of
and one isolate of
, respectively. The levels of AFs B
, B
, and OTA in the contaminated dried chilies were in the range of 39.3-139.5 µg/kg, 2.6-33.3 µg/kg, and 23.7-84.6 µg/kg, respectively. In contrast, no AFs G
and G
were detected. This study showed that the fungal infection of Indonesian dried chili occurs both in the field and during storage; thus, it is suggested to implement good agricultural and handling processes.
