This paper investigates the issue of measuring knowledge diffusion efficiency in R&D network based on the weighted network method. For the reality of R&D networks, we integrate the node and tie ...weights to build a weighted R&D network model. On the basis of the weighted R&D network, the multiple factors of knowledge diffusion efficiency are analyzed, and then a novel measurement method is proposed by comprehensively embodying these factors. Furthermore, an extended application of the measurement method is proposed to identify the important members of R&D network. An example of weighted Braess network and a real-world case are employed to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method. Results show that the proposed measurement method can more efficiently and accurately measure the knowledge diffusion efficiency of R&D networks than the traditional methods, and its application can effectively identify the important members with great influence on knowledge diffusion.

Consumers have dynamic perception on product’s green quality, which will have an important impact on the production strategy of the supply chain. Focusing on a three-player supply chain consisting of a government, a manufacturer and a retailer, the paper investigates the optimal production and subsidy rate of the supply chain considering consumer environmental awareness (CEA) is dynamic. The paper develops a differential game based model to explore the optimal production and subsidy rate considering government’s different goals of social welfare maximization and governmental utility maximization. Our study shows that the subsidy rate increases with the CEA under social welfare orientation but decreases with the CEA under governmental utility orientation. Moreover, we find that the subsidy policy under governmental utility orientation can target more consumer groups compared to the subsidy policy under social welfare orientation. The social welfare under the social welfare orientation is always negative, while governmental utility under governmental utility orientation is positive in some cases. However, under governmental utility orientation, the profit of the centralized supply chain is lower than that of the decentralized supply chain. Further, the limited subsidy under governmental utility orientation can avoid this disadvantage while achieving improvement in green quality.
Owing to the complexity of socio-economic environments and the fuzziness of human cognition, information of cognitive preference provided by decision-making organizations composed of many experts is ...often hesitant and fuzzy. In consequence, for the sake of addressing the hesitance and fuzziness of preference information for the configuration of tasks and resources in cloud manufacturing, a decision-making model of a two-sided matching considering a bidirectional projection under preference information of hesitant fuzzy is put forward. Primarily, this paper describes the problem of two-sided matching and introduces the hesitant fuzzy set. Afterwards, according to preference information given by matching agents using the hesitant fuzzy element, the evaluation matrix is constructed. Meanwhile, the bidirectional projection technology and TOPSIS method are combined to calculate the closeness degree matrix. Further, by introducing the constraint of the stable matching, a decision-making model of a two-sided matching for maximizing the closeness degree of two-sided matching agents is constructed, and the optimal configuration results are obtained by the solving of the model. Subsequently, the illustrative case is provided to validate the rationality and effectiveness of the presented model in solving the configuration for cloud manufacturing tasks and resources. Also, the stability in the proposed configuration results is illustrated by making a sensitivity analysis. Further, the reliability in the given solving process is demonstrated through performing a comparative analysis, as well as the advantages in the proposed model is also discussed. It shows that this developed model can give stable configuration results and also provide a matching approach for different agents under an uncertain environment.
With the development of specialization, coordination and intelligence in the manufacturing service process, the issue of how to quickly extract potential resources or capabilities for distributed ...manufacturing service requirements, and how to carry out resource matching for manufacturing service requirements with correlated mapping characteristics, have become the critical issues to be addressed in the cloud manufacturing environment. Through the combination of the characteristics of relevance, synergy and diversity of manufacturing service tasks on the intelligent cloud platform, a matching decision method for manufacturing service resources is proposed in this paper based on multidimensional information fusion. On the basis of integrating multidimensional information data in cloud manufacturing resource, the information entropy and rough set theory are applied to classify the importance of manufacturing service tasks, while the matching capability are analyzed by using a hybrid collaborative filtering (HCF) algorithm. Then, the information of function attribute, reliability and preference is employed to match and push manufacturing service resources or capabilities actively, so as to realize the matching decision of manufacturing service resources with precise quality, stable service and maximum efficiency. At last, a case study of resources matching decision for body & chassis manufacturing service in a new energy automobile enterprise is presented, in which the experimental results show that the proposed approach is more accuracy and effective compared with other different recommendation algorithms.
Taking carbon emissions into account in decision-making on distribution network operations contributes to achieving the goal of promoting energy conservation and emissions reduction. The focus of ...this paper is to research multicapacity hierarchical location-routing robust optimization in distribution network design under carbon trading policies. First, this problem is described as a mixed integer nonlinear programming model. Then, based on strong duality theory, the nonlinear model is transformed into a linear robust equivalent model. Finally, GUROBI software is used for numerical calculation and analysis. The results suggest the following: carbon trading policies have a carbon abatement effect; with a decrease in the carbon emissions cap and an increase in carbon trading prices, carbon emissions undergo a ladder-like downward trend; uncertain fluctuations in freight units will influence the optimal decision-making patterns of enterprises; and making more vehicles available will reduce carbon emissions. The government should set a reasonable carbon emissions cap according to market conditions. Enterprises could adopt robust control parameters on the basis of their decision-making preferences and consider the impact of carbon trading policy in formulating and adjusting an optimal decision-making scheme.
Whether the upstream and downstream members in a supply chain (considering environmental objectives) simultaneously stabilize economic benefits has become an important problem in the process of green ...development. However, few quantitative studies on green supply chains have considered environmental and economic benefits to realize multi-objective optimization. To study operation and cooperation strategies with a consideration of the different objective on the level of supply chain, we first establish a green supply chain game model with profit and environment objectives simultaneously considered by the manufacturer. Then, we analyze the multi-objective decisions of the supply chain members under centralized control using a manufacturer-led Stackelberg game and revenue-sharing contract. Using the manufacturer’s environmental preference as a variable, the effects of environmental benefits on the supply chain are also investigated. Finally, this study determines that the manufacturer’s profit will be reduced after considering the objective of environmental benefits, while the retailer’s profit, product greenness, and environmental benefits will be improved. Meanwhile, the total profit of the green supply chain will first increase and then decrease. In particular, a revenue-sharing contract can facilitate the coordination of multiple objectives; in this way, both the manufacturer and the retailer achieve higher profits and environmental benefits compared to a decentralized control condition, which is of great significance in achieving a win–win situation for the economy and the environment.
In this study, we examined the contract coordination between manufacturers with peer-induced and distributional fairness concerns. A revenue sharing contract was introduced to coordinate a ...competitive supply chain, in which the manufacturers have different fairness concerns based on centralized decision-making in terms of fairness neutrality. Then, we constructed two game models—the manufacturer’s peer-induced fairness concern model and the manufacturer’s distributional fairness concern model and analyzed the influence of a revenue sharing contract on the pricing decisions and profit distribution of a competitive supply chain considering fairness concerns. The results show that there is a revenue-sharing contract parameter in both the peer-induced and distributional fairness concerns of manufacturers, which can effectively realize Pareto improvements in a supply chain. Meanwhile, the retail and wholesale prices both decreased with the increase in the revenue-sharing ratio between retailers and manufacturers, and the profits of retailers decreased accordingly, but the overall utility of manufacturers and supply chains improved markedly. Moreover, the coordination condition is closely related to the level of fairness concerns of the manufacturers and the competition intensity between two manufacturers. The sharing contract designed in this study can not only effectively improve the utility of retailers and manufacturers but also enhance the total utility of the channel to ensure that node enterprises have long-term, stable, and cooperative relationships and to strengthen the overall competitiveness of the supply chain.
Entrepreneurial opportunity recognition is a key focus of entrepreneurship research and has received considerable attention in recent years. Previous research has highlighted that social network ...strength, need knowledge, and technological knowledge are important factors in entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and that these factors in isolation cannot sufficiently explain how entrepreneurial opportunities are recognized. Nonetheless, little is known about the effect that social network strength may exert on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition through need knowledge and technological knowledge. Building on social network theory, this study develops and examines a chain mediation model that incorporates need knowledge and technological knowledge into the relationship between social network strength and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition. The results of this study demonstrate that the effect of social network strength on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition can be partitioned into the direct and indirect effects. In particular, the effect of social network strength on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition is mediated by need knowledge, not by technological knowledge. Moreover, need knowledge and technological knowledge play a continuous mediating role in the relationship between social network strength and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition. These findings extend the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition literature by casting light on the knowledge conduits linking social network strength to entrepreneurial opportunity recognition.
With the rapid development of information science and technology, online communities are attracting an increasing number of participants, who can share information, create original content, and offer ...emotional support, thus communicating and spreading knowledge frequently within the community. To develop a model of influencing factors for the knowledge sharing behavior of online community members, this study employs the technology acceptance model (TAM) as a moderator variable based on the social exchange theory. In this study, the influencing factors model for knowledge sharing behavior of online community members was tested using PLS-SEM. The results show that knowledge sharing is motivated by trust and quality of knowledge; the interaction term of perceived usefulness and knowledge quality of the user has a significant negative correlation with the knowledge sharing behavior of online community users; perceived usefulness significantly positively moderates the correlation between knowledge tacitness and knowledge sharing behavior of users; perceived ease of use significantly positively moderates the relationship between knowledge quality and knowledge sharing behavior; perceived ease of use significantly negatively moderates the relationship between knowledge tacit and knowledge sharing behavior. In order to maximize the activity and stickiness of the online community platform, the platform must focus on maintaining and enhancing the platform’s credibility and knowledge quality. On the other hand, the online community platform extols its professional utility and ease of operation, which are conducive to the generation of behavior that is conducive to knowledge sharing.
