The antioxidant effects of essential oil and monomer as well as residue and waste water after distillation from buds, stems and leaves of Pelargonium graveolens were studied by the method of ...1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl free redical (DPPH*). It showed that each sample in the test had the antioxidant effect. The extraction of the leaf collected in noon had the strongest antioxidant effect, the residue and waste water had also strong antioxidant effect. It shows that some antioxidant chemical abounds in the residue of natural essential industry, and it also shows feasibility of integrated use of Pelargonium graveolens.
The TFT-LCD line generates a large amount of data, in order to fully exploit the value of the yield-related data, thus building a big data platform for yield analysis. By discussing the methods and ...deficiencies of traditional yield analysis, the ideas and methods of big data implementation are explained. Study the characteristics of TFT-LCD line data and complete the data preparation work of the big data platform. According to the current mainstream big data system architecture, combined with the characteristics of the TFT-LCD line information system, the business view and technical architecture of the big data platform are proposed, and the main business content and technical methods of the big data platform are expounded. Finally, combined with the case, introduce the development process, and realize the big data platform design of yield analysis.
As an important cytokine of the immune system, interleukin-2 (IL-2) can induce the expression of various genes, one of which is the tumor necrosis factor-β (TNF-β). However, the induction mechanism ...of TNF-β remains to be fully explored. We have previously shown JAK-STAT pathway mediates TNF-β gene induction upon IL-2 stimulation through an upstream −200GAS element. In this study, we further demonstrated that there is another essential −130EBS element in TNF-β gene promoter region. Using IL-2-dependent cell line BAF/BO3β, we found that this −130EBS element can form a specific complex with nuclear protein, which contained a novel ETS transcription factor. Furthermore, using kinase inhibitors, we revealed that p38 MAP kinase is involved in the formation of −130EBS–protein complex and the subsequent transcriptional activation of TNF-β gene in response to IL-2 stimulation. Taken together, our results suggested that the complicated IL-2 induction of TNF-β gene expression requires not only the activation of JAK-STAT pathway on the −200GAS element, but also the cooperation of another signal pathway on the −130EBS element.
Unbalanced load increases imbalance and harmonic distortion of system operating voltage, which results in the influence of power quality in micro-grid. Sliding-mode variable structure control is ...proved to be robust and has plenty of remarkable dynamic response characteristics, so that it could be applied to the micro-grid operation with unbalanced load control. The mathematical model of the system is established, and an appropriate control strategies is designed to aim at achieving a smooth mode-switch among diverse micro-grid operating modes. The experimental results of PSCAD/EMTDC show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

To investigate the efficacy of round window catheter placement with dexamethasone perfusion for 13 patients with intractable sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL).
Dexamethasone (2.5 mg) was ...perfused transtympanically through round window catheter by Micro-infusion pump. The perfusion was taken twice a day and continued for an hour each time, for a total of 7 days.
Thirteen patients have been followed up for 1 month. Five of them (38.5%) were demonstrated a 17-54 dB improvement in pure-tone threshold average (PTA). The other 8 patients (61.5%) had no effect.
Round window catheter placement with dexamethasone perfusion is a cost-effective and useful treatment for SSNHL patients who had no effect through conventional therapy, although hearing thresholds of these patients had hardly improved to normal levels.
