Abstrak-Indonesia merupakan negara agraris dengan produksi padi yang besar, dimana seiring tingginya produksi padi maka semakin tinggi pula potensi limbah padi yang dihasilkan, salah satunya berupa ...sekam padi yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan furfural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh jenis dan konsentrasi katalisator asam terhadap perolehan furfural, menentukan kadar furfural yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan kedua jenis katalisator asam dalam berbagai variasi konsentrasi serta menentukan jenis dan konsentrasi katalisator asam yang dapat menghasilkan kadar furfural terbesar. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan bahan baku, proses hidrolisa dan distilasi. Persiapan bahan baku dilakukan dengan menghaluskan sekam padi hingga 80 mesh kemudian dikeringkan menggunakan oven. Proses hidrolisa menggunakan katalisator asam dilakukan selama 4 jam dengan suhu 85oC, hidrolisat disaring untuk selanjutnya dilakukan pemurnian dengan distilasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memvariasikan katalisator asam berupa asam sulfat dan asam klorida dengan konsentrasi 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% dan 9%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sintesis furfural dari sekam padi dapat menghasilkan furfural tertinggi pada katalisator asam sulfat dengan konsentrasi 1%. Adapun kadar furfural yang diperoleh pada katalisator asam sulfat dengan konsentrasi 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% dan 9% berturut-turut sebesar 1,815%; 1,256%; 0,933%; 0,733% dan 0,730%, sedangkan kadar furfural yang diperoleh pada katalisator asam klorida sebesar 1,659%; 1,126%; 0,848%; 0,737% dan 0,726%. This research aims to determine the type and concentration of acid catalyst in the manufacture of furfural, and analyze the effect of acid catalyst type and concentration to furfural obtained. This research was done by three stages, namely preparation of raw materials, hydrolysis and distillation process. Preparation of raw materials was started by reducing the rice hull’s size up to 80 mesh and then drying. Acid catalyst hydrolysis carried out for four hours with the operating temperature of 85 oC, then filtered hydrolyzate was purified by distillation. Research was done by varying the acid catalyst in the form of sulfuric acid and hidrochloric acid with the concentration of 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9%. The results showed that the synthesis of furfural from rice hull obtained the highest furfural concentration on the sulfuric acidcatalyst at 1% concentration. The furfural obtained with concentration of 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9% on a sulfuric acidcatalyst respectively at 1.815%; 1.256%; 0.933%; 0.733% and 0.730%, while the furfural obtained on the hydrochloric acid catalyst respectively at 1.659%; 1.126%; 0.848%; 0.737% and 0.726%. Background: Anthropometric indicator such as Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference (WC) and Waist to Height Ratio (WHtR) can to predict risk of hypertension. This study aims to compare ...anthropometry in predicting risk of hypertension in employees Cimahi City by gender.
Methods: Design study was Cross Sectional with Diagnostic Test. This study used secondary data Non Communicable Diseases (NCD) screening in 827 employees with age ≥ 15 years. The ROC (receiver operating characteristic) curves were analyzed to identify the optimal cut off points and compare the predictive capacity of the anthropometric indicators for the hypertension outcome by gender using Stata.13 software.
Result: The hypertension in men 65.32% more than women 34.68%. The Area Under the Curve (AUC) of WC 0.70 (95%CI=0.66-0.74) more than WHtR 0.66 (95%CI=0.62-0.70) and BMI 0.64 (95%CI=0.60-0.69). Based on gender,in men the highest AUC WC 0.69 (95%CI=0.64-0.75) while in women the highest AUC were in WC and WHtR was 0.67 (95%CI=0.60-0.74). The optimal cut off point in predicting hypertension were BMI 25.89 (Sn=67.05%,Sp=57.95%),WC 90 cm (Sn=76.30%,Sp=54.74%) and WHtR 0,56 (Sn=68.79%,Sp=59.02%).
Conclusion: The WC is the most superior anthropometric index compared to the WHtR and BMI in predicting hypertension risk in employees in Cimahi City.

This software development applies the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology which allows application development to be carried out in stages and iteratively, focusing on speed and flexibility, and for application testing using the black box testing method. This research produces a mobile-based HR management application with location-based online attendance features, medical performance monitoring for medical clusters, online leave applications, and e-file management. This application has been tested with Blackbox Test to ensure all functionality runs well and as expected. User Acceptable Test also shows that this application gets a satisfaction percentage of 84%, so it can be concluded that this application can be well received by users and is suitable for use.
Abstract A fruit trap is a trap that uses fruit as an attractant to attract pests. The main target of this research was the imago of the oil palm leaf-eating caterpillar (OPLEC). The objectives of ...this study were to know the type and dominance of OPLEC, compare ability levels, and obtain the number of fruit traps that were effective in trapping OPLEC. This research was conducted at P.T. Sumber Andalas Kencana, Dharmasraya District. This research was a field experiment arranged in a randomized block design (RBD). The obtained data were analyzed by analysis of variance at a 5% level, then continued by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% level. The results showed that there were five species of OPLEC, namely Setothesea asigna, Amathusia phidippus, Setora nitens, Darna trima , and Mahasena corbetti , which were trapped. The best treatment in this research was five fruit traps, with the % of OPLEC trapped at 29,55%, and the average ability to trap OPLEC was 59 individuals. The fruit trap used as an OPLEC trap had a significant effect. The number of fruit traps dramatically affects the number of OPLEC trapped. The fewer traps used, the lower the number of OPLEC imago trapped.
This study aimed to evaluate the economic feasibility of Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp reared at 400 shrimp/m2 in 56 days of culture. The experimental design was set in an 800 m2 HDPE pond installed ...with nanobubble and non-nanobubble. Shrimp survival and total harvest in nanobubble treatment was increased to 92% and 2,255 kg, respectively. Economic parameters calculated in this study were Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), Break Even Point (BEP), Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio), and Sensitivity Analysis (SA). The total investment required to run this farming practice is IDR 182,887,700. Total revenue per cycle is estimated at IDR 157,850,000 with the selling price of IDR 70,000/kg of shrimp. The estimated PP is 4 cycles, with an NPV of IDR 172,329,247 projected in 10 cycles. IRR is estimated at 18% and BEP is reached after 7,058 kg production of shrimp. B/C Ratio is estimated to be 1.26 and SA showed that productivity is the most affecting parameters in the present analysis. Based on the economic study, vannamei shrimp farming associated with nanobubble system is feasible to be realized.
In palm oil supply chain (POSC) the smallholder farmers sell their fresh fruit bunch (FFB) to Palm Oil Mills through traders. Palm Oil Mills convert the FFB into crude palm oil (CPO). CPO is sold to ...the refinery, who converts CPO into frying oil and sends the product to the distributors. The distributors subsequently sell them to the consumers. Each member of the POSC will try to optimize its added value. The aim of this paper is to develop an added value formulation as a function of risk, investment and technology levels of each of the POSC member. To facilitate fair distribution of rewards a concept of added value utility based on rsk, investment and technology level was introduced. To optimize the added value distribution between the members the concept of stakeholder dialogue was used. The selling prices were negotiated between the actors until each reached a satisfactory value, which was ruled by the levels of optimum added value utility. Pabrik CPO merubah TBS menjadi CPO. CPO dijual ke refinery (pabrik minyak goreng), yang merubah CPO menjadi minyak goreng, dan menjualnya melalui distributor kepada para konsumen. Setiap anggota RPMS akan berusaha untuk mengoptimumkan nilai tambahnya masing-masing. Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah menyusun formula perhitungan nilai tambah RPMS yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat risiko, tingkat investasi dan tingkat teknologi yang terkait dengan masingmasing pelaku rantai pasok. Untuk mengusahakan distribusi yang adil dari imbalan maka digunakan pendekatan stakeholder dialogue. Harga jual dinegosiasikan diantara para pelaku RPMS sampai didapat suatu nilai yang memuaskan semua pihak, yang ditentukan berdasarkan utilitas nilai tambah yang optimum. Penelitian ini penting karena model yang dikembangkan dapat memfasilitasi formula yang lebih baik untuk menghitung distribusi nillia tambah yang adil, sehingga akan dicapai keberlangsungan usaha dan meningkatnya nilai tambah total dari RPMS.Kata kunci: Utilitas, Nilai Tambah, Rantai Pasok Minyak Sawit, Fungsi Eksponensial.

One way to use mobile promotion can be done through push notifications to reach interaction and engagement with consumers. This study describes the effect of price discounts and scarcity on impulse buying tendencies which are moderated by the availability of money and availability of time. Data was collected from 236 respondents who are consumers of five e- commerce applications in Indonesia. In evaluating our proposed research, we used SEM to validate hypotheses, CFA and the Alpha Cronbach Coefficient to evaluate item validity and reliability. The results of the study show that discount prices and scarcity have a positive effect on impulse buying tendencies. Although discounts and scarcity have a positive effect on impulse buying tendencies, situational characteristics through availability of money and availability of time do not moderate the positive effect of impulse buying tendencies. These findings provide theoretical implications and understanding of patterns of impulse buying tendencies in mobile promotions through the use of push notifications.
