systems are considered as stoichiometric compounds. An exponential and a quadratic model are used to describe the temperature dependence of the excess quantities for the Liquid, (
αNd
), (
βNd
), (
αDy
), (
βDy
), (
αGd
), (
βGd
), and (
Ru
) solution phases. The results were compared with those from a combined quadratic-exponential temperature dependence description of the excess energies. Using the Thermo-Calc software, self-consistent sets of thermodynamic parameters were obtained to describe the Gibbs energies of the numerous phases in the
Ln-Ru
binary systems. The calculated results are in good agreement with the available phase equilibria and thermodynamic data.

Near UltraViolet High Density (NUV-HD) SiPMs produced by Fondazione Bruno Kessler in collaboration with INFN have been tested and characterized in INFN laboratories. The third generation of these ...devices (HD3) has proven to be suitable to equip the focal plane of the prototype Schwarzschild–Couder Medium Size Telescope (pSCT) proposed for the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory. Photosensors have been assembled in 4 16-pixel optical units coupled with TARGET–7 ASIC front-end electronics for amplification and digitization of the signal. At present, 9 modules have been successfully integrated on the pSCT camera and are currently taking data. In this contribution we report on the performances of the HD3 technology as single sensor and as assembled optical units, showing their performance and homogeneity in terms of gain and dark count rate.
A number of substituted benzopentathiepin-6-amines and their analogues without a polysulfur ring were synthesized and evaluated in vitro for antimicrobial activity against a panel of reference ...bacterial and fungal strains. Trifluoroacetamide 14 demonstrated high antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA strain) with a MIC of 4 μg/mL, which was four-fold higher than the activity of a reference drug amoxicillin. This compound was also most active against the Candida albicans fungus (MIC of 1 μg ml
), whereas amide 17 containing a morpholine substituent was most active against the Cryptococcus neoformans fungus (MIC of 2 μg ml
). These compounds have no hemolytic activity and are low cytotoxic. Replacement of the pentathiepine ring with 1,3-dithiolan-2-one or 1,3-dithiolane moieties leads to loss of antimicrobial activity. Based on the QSAR analysis and molecular docking data, bacterial DNA ligase might be one of the targets for the antibacterial activity of substituted benzopentathiepin-6-amines against S. aureus.

Seven alloys of the In–Pb–Zn ternary system were studied in the range of 660–791K by the method of electromotive forces (EMFs), using the electrochemical cell:
(−) Zn|ZnCl2+KCl+LiCl|In–Pb–Zn (+). Temperature dependencies of EMF (E(T)=a+b⋅T) were obtained for three phase regions: (I) homogeneous liquid, (II) heterogeneous liquid 1+liquid 2 and (III) heterogeneous liquid 3+solid mixtures.
Based on these equations the values of chemical potential of zinc as well as phase transition temperatures were found. On the basis of the obtained and literature data, thermodynamic model of ternary liquid was proposed. The liquidus surface projection and vertical sections In0.5Pb0.5–Zn, In0.5Zn0.5–Pb, Pb0.5Zn0.5–In of the system In–Pb–Zn were calculated.
The article discusses a unified analytical algorithm for identification of component composition of winemaking products, established in the new national standard GOST R 59570-2021 «Winemaking ...products. Identification of component in terms of determination of the origin of ethanol and other compounds of physical-chemical composition». The standard provides modern scientific data on winemaking products, as well as data on natural, agrotechnical and technological factors that can impact the component composition of products to interpret the results of analytical evaluations. The article provides practical examples of use of analytical methods established in the standard for the study of winemaking products produced in Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia and foreign countries.
