Background and study aim. Prerequisites and purpose of the study. Today, philosophical anthropology (in the context of physical culture) occupies an intermediate place between the biological sciences ...and existential philosophy, elements of which it uses to explain the problems of physical existence. In the deep spheres of the physical state of a man (in the continuum of his/her spiritual-moral, physical, subconscious-rational, irrational and anthrobiological subjectivity) one can find the true foundations of personal physical culture and give them an immanent-subjective expression of human strength (as a creator of culture globalized world). The purpose of the study is to characterize the physical culture of the individual in the context of philosophical anthropology. Material and methods. Sources of information were the authoritative database Web of Science Core Collection, Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. Extraction of data from documents was carried out by means of a search query. In total, data on 102 documents containing such keywords as philosophy, anthropology, physical culture, sport were removed from the Web of Science Core Collection. Accordingly, 18 documents were found in the catalogues of the Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. Further analysis was performed with these 120 documents. The results of the search query were recorded in the form of tables and a special text file, which was processed in VOSviewer. The requirements of dialectical logic, comparative method, method of phenomenological reduction, hermeneutic methods are chosen by research methods. Results. The most significant and popular thematic categories, journals, authors, articles, keywords are identified. The connection between the elements of bibliographic description of articles and individual groups of publications has been established. It is established that from the second quarter of the XX century among philosophers there is opposition to the understanding of human nature on the basis of the acceptance of some one of its essence (spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional and volitional, etc.), which determines the existence of any person. This was a denial of the approach to a man, which was called essential (from the Latin essentia – essence). The result of this transformation was to establish an existential understanding of a man (from the Latin existentia - existence). However, a self-contained existential approach is capable of producing a worldview distortion of personal physical culture, especially in conditions of restriction of freedom (for example, during a pandemic, war). Therefore, in modern philosophical anthropology it is necessary to adhere to a balanced combination of essential and existential understanding of a man in general and his/her physical culture in particular. In this way, philosophical anthropology is able to actualize various structures of worldview, including the values of physical culture. Conclusions. From the point of view of modern philosophical anthropology, athletes, in the broadest sense of the term (all those who purposefully engage in physical and sports exercises), are carriers of a set of socio-cultural values (moral and volitional qualities, morpho-functional properties, psychophysical abilities, etc.). These values, in the context of the globalization of civilizational development and the main axiological concepts (quality and standard of living, social order, well-being), should be considered as a means of activating planetary socio-cultural development.
Background and Study Aim. The inclusion of beach volleyball in the program of the Olympic Games gave some impetus to the development of scientific research on various problems of training athletes. ...Most of the research results are presented in journals included in the Web of Science Core Collection. However, the publication of research results in journals from national databases remains outside the scope of this database. The aim of this study is to systematically review the scientific literature on various beach volleyball issues in Russian-language scientific resources.
Material and Methods. The sources of information were the authoritative database Web of Science Core Collection, Russian Science Citation Index, Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU (Russia), National Repositary of Academic Texts (Ukraine). Data extraction from these databases was carried out using the keywords “volleyball” / “beach”. A total of 1,875 documents were found for the keyword “volleyball”. Of these, the keyword “beach” - 273 documents. Further analysis was carried out on 273 documents. The search query results were recorded in the form of tables and a special text file, which were processed in the VOSviewer 1.6.17 program.
Results. The most significant and more popular subject categories, journals, authors, articles, keywords have been identified. The relationship between keywords and individual groups of publications has been established. A method for extracting data from the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU in a semiautomatic mode is presented. The trends in the development of beach volleyball in various aspects of the training of elite athletes and the sports reserve, the health-improving function of beach volleyball for youth are shown.
Conclusions. Differences in the content of research between Russian-language and English-language resources are a good complement to each other. This fact may contribute to solving the problems of beach volleyball and international cooperation of researchers.
Background and Study Aim. An important element in the system of museum activities are approaches to attracting visitors. Among these approaches, one can single out the dialogue of the museum with ...visitors through specially organized active motor actions. Such actions have certain parameters (the nature of physical activity and its age-appropriateness, intensity, duration, etc.), which can influence the perception and evaluation of exhibits and the decision of visitors to return to the museum. The purpose of the study is an attempt to explain how specially organized active motor actions of visitors affect the perception and evaluation of museum exhibits and getting satisfaction from visiting.
Material and Methods. Publications from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoS) were selected as the source of information. The search was carried out using keywords that characterize the interaction of visitors with the subject-spatial environment of the museum. The VOSviewer program was used to analyze the relationships between documents retrieved from WoS.
Results. It is argued that the sedentary behavior of visitors, typical for many museums, does not contribute to their involvement in the museum space and the creation of meaning in museums. It is noted that an important aspect in the organization of special motor actions of visitors is the orientation to their motivation and interpretation of movements in the museum exhibits. The optimal level of physical activity has been identified. It creates a comfortable feeling and contributes to an adequate perception of the exhibits and corresponds to the main mission of the museum.
Conclusions. Specially organized motor actions form the maximum motivation for visitors to study the museum exhibits. Such movements carry a certain semantic character of the theme of the museum.
Background and Study Aim. The work aim is to develop and experimentally test the combined impact method performance in the preparatory period of the annual macrocycle of 18–19 year old volleyball ...players (girls).
Material and Methods. The study involved volleyball players (girls) aged 18–19 years old (n = 24, training experience – 9 years). Volleyball players (girls) were divided into control (n = 12) and experimental (n = 12) groups.
Results. The method contributed to a higher rate of growth of most parameters of special readiness among volleyball players (girls) of the experimental group. A significant improvement in special readiness (p <0.05) was revealed for all parameters in both groups. In the experimental group, an improvement (p <0.001) was observed for 8 out of 11 parameters. In the control group, a significant improvement in the results (p <0.001) occurred in 3 cases out of 11. A significant improvement in speed and strength training parameters (p <0.001) was revealed: in 3 out of 4 cases (experimental group); in 1 out of 4 cases (control group). The quality of performance of the game basic techniques improved by: 4–22% (p <0.04–0.001 in experimental group) 4–11% (p <0.05–0.02 in control group).
Conclusions. It is advisable to devote more time to the development of more significant motor abilities of volleyball players (girls) (speed, speed and strength, dexterity and coordination). It is advisable to improve endurance in combination with the development of other motor abilities and in the process of technical and tactical improvement. In the physical training of volleyball players (girls), it is advisable to use as many training means as possible, which are similar to the main game techniques according to spatio–temporal and dynamic characteristics. Movements with load contribute to the development of intermuscular coordination and allow to quickly form the correct idea of the trained motor action.
Background and Study Aim. Monitoring the condition of athletes is one of the leading tasks in sports science. Predicting success and skill growth is an integral part of monitoring. The fulfillment ...of this task requires the use of modern methods and the sensory integration analysis occupies an important place. The purpose of this article is to analyze publications on sensory integration and identify priority research areas in this field.
Material and Methods. The bibliometric database Web of Science Core Collection (WoS) was analyzed. 388 sources that met the search criteria for 2013-2023 were selected for primary analysis. Bibliometric methods were used for processing the obtained information. The program VOSviewer 1.6.18 was used for keyword analysis and direct citation analysis with the construction of bibliometric maps, visualization of cluster density, and weight – citations.
Results. The leading publication categories in WoS were Neurosciences, Sport Sciences, Psychology, Psychology Experimental, Physiology, Rehabilitation. The distribution of publications by years was fairly evenly. Most publications were related to Germany and the USA. The most frequent institutions were German Sport University Cologne, Universidade de Sao Paulo, Shanghai University of Sport, Institute National de la Sante et de la Recherche Medicale Inserm, University of Freiburg. The most cited authors were identified. The constructed bibliometric maps allowed us to identify the leading thematic areas of research and current research directions in the field. The two most important clusters were identified. The largest cluster reflects research on balance and posture and the use of special exercises for rehabilitation in different population groups. The second cluster includes the most significant keyword in the whole map – "sensorimotor integration". The works reflect studies of sensorimotor integration, the study of movement features, and coordination and control of movement at different levels.
Conclusions. The conducted bibliometric analysis of publications confirms the relevance of sensorimotor integration. A stable interest in this problem has been determined. Research in this area has neurophysiological, sports-recreational, and medical-rehabilitation directions. Neurophysiological research is aimed at analyzing balance and equilibrium and the application of various tests and functional samples. The sport context studies sensory integration in different sports. Recreational publications have investigated sensory integration as a criterion of health. The therapeutic and rehabilitation focus explores the use of sensory integration as a criterion for treatment and rehabilitation. A characteristic feature is the intersection of these directions. There is a lack of studies devoted to sensory integration in sport dancing. There is a lack of studies aimed at studying the psychophysiological state. These types of research should be assessed as relevant.
Background and Study Aim. The study purpose was to determine the effect of exercise performance modes on the effectiveness of teaching the vault to 8-year-old boys.
Materials and methods. The study ...participants were 32 boys aged 8 who were divided into 4 groups of 8 pesons. The children and their parents were informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. The pedagogical experiment investigated the effect of the number of sets (х1), the number of repetitions in a set (х2), and a 60-second rest time on the change in the gain in the level of proficiency of 8-year-old boys in straddle vault over the buck. A method of algorithmic instructions was used in the training. The participants proceeded to the next exercise after three successful attempts.
Results. Statistical analysis of the significance of the discriminant functions showed that the first function explains 81.2% of the data variation and has a high canonical correlation value (r = 0.751). The first function has a high discriminative ability (λ = 0.332, p < 0.021) and can be used to classify the modes of physical exercise performance in the process of formation of motor skills.
Conclusions. The use of multivariate statistics makes it possible to determine the structure of the training program, confirm the effectiveness of the selection of motor tasks, and classify the modes of physical exercise performance during the training process. The best mode of physical exercise performance in teaching the vault to 8-year-old boys is 12 sets of 3 repetitions with a rest time of 60 seconds.
Background and Study Aim. The main aim was to compare the changes in external body temperature of students who gave in an immersion of winter swimming.
Material and Methods. The study group consisted ...of 15 students, including 7 males and 8 females. The average age of the subjects was 22.4+1.12 years. The group was tested by measuring outer body temperature at 30 spots across their bodies by using a FLUXE 64 MAX pyrometer. Afterwards, subjects entered ice-cold water for 3 minutes. After 15 days of testing the comparison was made: temperature values from before and after the immersion.
Results. The students showed significantly higher average body temperature values before the testing (34.96°C ± 2.21 to 21.85 ± 3.68) and the lowest after the testing (29.86°C ± 4.91 to 6.26°C ± 1.04). The highest difference in average temperatures was obtained in the measurement of the left lower leg - front, the examination before and after (20.73°C), and the lowest in the measurement of the right hand - palm side, the examination after and 15 minutes after (0.19°C).
Conclusions. Winter swimming is becoming an increasingly popular sport activity. Conducted research shows the positive influence of winter swimming on human body and organism. The presented research should be further continued in order to learn more about the influence of cold on human body.
Background and Study Aim. Purpose of the research: analysis of the influence of health-improving fitness classes of various orientations on the degree of fat deposition in women of the second mature ...age.
Material and Methods. Participants: group 1 – 40 women, (43.33 ± 0.93) years, group 2 – 25 women, (44.40 ± 0.93) years. The participants trained for 8 months, three times a week for 1 hour. Group 1 – classes in dance aerobics (Monday), strength fitness (Wednesday) and stretching (Friday). Group 2 – stretching only. Before the start and after the end of the program, the body weight and length were determined, the degree of fat deposition using a calipermeter at 17 points, the body mass index was calculated.
Results. In group 1, there was a significant decrease in body weight, BMI, a decrease in the thickness of skin and fat folds at all points. In group 2, a significant decrease in body weight, BMI, a decrease in the thickness of folds at 13 points in 60-96% of participants was established. At the end of the study, group 1 had a smaller size of the folds of the thighs and left forearm compared to group 2. Regular exercise leads to a decrease in body weight BMI, a decrease in body fat. Complex classes have a more pronounced effect compared to stretching. This type of training is more effective in terms of the dynamics of the criteria used and the number of participants with the established changes. The sessions provided an increase in the number of persons with a normal BMI and a decrease in the number of obese participants.
Conclusions. The applied indicators and methods can be recommended for use in health monitoring in health fitness.
Purpose. The purpose of the article is a comparative analysis of the morphological indicators of street workout (StW) athletes with different training experience (TE).
Materials and methods. The ...study involved StW athletes (n = 27).
