ABSTRACT
We analyse the anisotropic clustering of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey-IV Extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS) Luminous Red Galaxy Data Release 14 (DR14) sample combined ...with Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) CMASS sample of galaxies in the redshift range 0.6 < z < 1.0, which consists of 80 118 galaxies from eBOSS and 46 439 galaxies from the BOSS-CMASS sample. The eBOSS-CMASS Luminous Red Galaxy sample has a sky coverage of 1844 deg2, with an effective volume of 0.9 Gpc3. The analysis was made in configuration space using a Legendre multipole expansion. The Redshift Space Distortion signal is modelled as a combination of the Convolution Lagrangian Perturbation Model and the Gaussian Streaming Model. We constrain the logarithmic growth of structure times the amplitude of dark matter density fluctuations, f(zeff)σ8(zeff) = 0.454 ± 0.134, and the Alcock-Paczynski dilation scales which constraints the angular diameter distance $D_A(z_{\mathrm{ eff}})=1466.5 \pm 133.2 (r_s/r_s^{\rm fid})$ and $H(z_{\rm eff})=105.8 \pm 15.7 (r_s^{\rm fid}/r_s) \mathrm{km\, s^{-1}\, Mpc^{-1}}$, where rs is the sound horizon at the end of the baryon drag epoch and $r_s^{\rm fid}$ is its value in the fiducial cosmology at an effective redshift zeff = 0.72. These results are in full agreement with the current Λ-Cold Dark Matter (Λ-CDM) cosmological model inferred from Planck measurements. This study is the first eBOSS LRG full-shape analysis i.e. including Redshift Space Distortions simultaneously with the Alcock-Paczynski effect and the Baryon Acoustic Oscillation scale.

Abstract
Aims
The mechanisms underlying ageing-induced vascular remodelling remain unclear. This study investigates the role and underlying mechanisms of the cytoplasmic deacetylase sirtuin 2 (SIRT2) ...in ageing-induced vascular remodelling.
Methods and results
Transcriptome and quantitative real-time PCR data were used to analyse sirtuin expression. Young and old wild-type and Sirt2 knockout mice were used to explore vascular function and pathological remodelling. RNA-seq, histochemical staining, and biochemical assays were used to evaluate the effects of Sirt2 knockout on the vascular transcriptome and pathological remodelling and explore the underlying biochemical mechanisms. Among the sirtuins, SIRT2 had the highest levels in human and mouse aortas. Sirtuin 2 activity was reduced in aged aortas, and loss of SIRT2 accelerated vascular ageing. In old mice, SIRT2 deficiency aggravated ageing-induced arterial stiffness and constriction–relaxation dysfunction, accompanied by aortic remodelling (thickened vascular medial layers, breakage of elastin fibres, collagen deposition, and inflammation). Transcriptome and biochemical analyses revealed that the ageing-controlling protein p66Shc and metabolism of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mROS) contributed to SIRT2 function in vascular ageing. Sirtuin 2 repressed p66Shc activation and mROS production by deacetylating p66Shc at lysine 81. Elimination of reactive oxygen species by MnTBAP repressed the SIRT2 deficiency–mediated aggravation of vascular remodelling and dysfunction in angiotensin II–challenged and aged mice. The SIRT2 coexpression module in aortas was reduced with ageing across species and was a significant predictor of age-related aortic diseases in humans.
Conclusion
The deacetylase SIRT2 is a response to ageing that delays vascular ageing, and the cytoplasm–mitochondria axis (SIRT2–p66Shc–mROS) is important for vascular ageing. Therefore, SIRT2 may serve as a potential therapeutic target for vascular rejuvenation.

The epigenetic regulator sirtuin 2 (SIRT2) governs a cytoplasm–mitochondria signal to repress vascular ageing. Ageing reduces SIRT2 protein levels and activity, which results in the hyperacetylation and activation of the adaptor protein p66Shc and production of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mROS), which subsequently reprogrammes the vascular transcriptome to aggravate ageing-induced vascular remodelling and diseases. The circulating SIRT2 may serve as a prognostic biomarker for ageing-related vascular diseases, and the cytoplasm–mitochondria axis SIRT2–p66Shc–mROS could be targeted for treating ageing-related vascular diseases.
NH3 is a valuable chemical with a wide range of applications, but the conventional Haber–Bosch process for industrial‐scale NH3 production is highly energy‐intensive with serious greenhouse gas ...emission. Electrochemical reduction offers an environmentally benign and sustainable route to convert N2 to NH3 at ambient conditions, but its efficiency depends greatly on identifying earth‐abundant catalysts with high activity for the N2 reduction reaction. Here, it is reported that MnO particles act as a highly active catalyst for electrocatalytic hydrogenation of N2 to NH3 with excellent selectivity. In 0.1 m Na2SO4, this catalyst achieves a high Faradaic efficiency up to 8.02% and a NH3 yield of 1.11 × 10−10 mol s−1 cm−2 at −0.39 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode, with great electrochemical and structural stability. On the basis of density functional theory calculations, MnO (200) surface has a smaller adsorption energy toward N than that of H with the *N2 → *N2H transformation being the potential‐determining step in the nitrogen reduction reaction.
A manganese oxide particles film on Ti mesh (MnO/TM) acts as a robust non‐noble‐metal electrocatalyst for efficient N2 reduction electrocatalysis at ambient conditions. In 0.1 m Na2SO4, the MnO/TM attains a high Faradaic efficiency up to 8.02% and a NH3 yield of 1.11 × 10−10 mol s−1 cm−2 at −0.39 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode, with high electrochemical stability.
