The data of textile industry and fine arts trainees are collected, the least squares estimator of variance vector is calculated, and the industry integration development path covariates are obtained by combining the principle of great likelihood ratio to determine the change of linear relationship between the two and achieve the optimal development path. The results show that after the teaching of BOPPPS model, the control P value of trainees’ performance is less than 0.05, which contributes to the cultivation of trainees’ innovative thinking, thus promoting the integrated development of Shandong folk art and contemporary textile industry and improving regional economic benefits.
Urban flooding disasters caused by frequent heavy rainfall threaten the safety of residents and socioeconomic development. Thus, risk evaluation of urban inundation is a vital component of ...sustainable urban development. Analytical hierarchical process (AHP) and decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) are common methods applied to flood risk evaluation. The former focuses on the relationship among different layers, while the latter reflects the relationship of factors in one layer. Moreover, the ambiguity in the decision-making process can be reduced by the uncertainty system. Therefore, the proposed method integrates grey theory and utilises the characteristics of DEMATEL to establish the AHP comparison matrix, particularly when the scores given by experts’ questionnaires are scattered. The method was applied to the risk assessment of urban inundation in Zhengzhou and verified by its flooding disaster sites that occurred during the 20 July storm in 2021 1.•Developed approach merges grey theory, DEMATEL, and AHP methods;•Application of G-DEMATEL-AHP method in risk assessment of urban inundation;•The proposed method can increase the reliability of risk assessment results.

Condition monitoring and early fault detection of wind turbine faults can reduce maintenance costs and prevent cascaded failures. This article proposes a new Normal Behavior Modeling (NBM) method to ...predict wind turbine electric pitch system failures using supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) information. The proposed method is particularly effective for online monitoring applications at a reasonable computational complexity. Briefly, in the data preprocessing stage of the proposed method, in order to remove interferential information and improve data quality, the operational state codes from turbine programmable logic controller are applied to filter SCADA data. In the modeling process, we designed a NBM method using optimized relevance vector machine (RVM) regression, which is relatively fast and computationally efficient. An adaptive threshold by the probabilistic output of RVM is proposed and used as the rule of anomaly detection. One normal case and three typical fault cases have been studied to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method. The performance of the method is assessed using 38 actual pitch system faults compared with two existing methods.
In order to support the building of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor and the aim of turning it into a world-class leisure tourist destination, the quality of Japanese translation of ...Sichuan-Chongqing tourism promotion texts urgently needs to be improved. Translation for external propaganda is a cross-cultural communication activity. During the translation process, the cultural differences between the source language society and the target language society must be fully considered. Based on the current situation of Japanese translation of Sichuan-Chongqing tourism promotion texts, from the perspective of cross-cultural pragmatics, this study proposes four Japanese translation strategies for Sichuan-Chongqing tourism promotion texts: the distinction between domestic and foreign tourists; implicit expression strategy; text-centered; enhancing understanding. Under the guidance of these four strategies, this study puts forward specific Japanese translation methods for tourism promotion texts with different themes such as urban humanities, natural landscapes, and folk culture.
Since wind at the earth's surface has an intrinsically complex and stochastic nature, accurate wind power forecasts are necessary for the safe and economic use of wind energy. In this paper, we ...investigated a combination of numeric and probabilistic models: a Gaussian process (GP) combined with a numerical weather prediction (NWP) model was applied to wind-power forecasting up to one day ahead. First, the wind-speed data from NWP was corrected by a GP, then, as there is always a defined limit on power generated in a wind turbine due to the turbine controlling strategy, wind power forecasts were realized by modeling the relationship between the corrected wind speed and power output using a censored GP. To validate the proposed approach, three real-world datasets were used for model training and testing. The empirical results were compared with several classical wind forecast models, and based on the mean absolute error (MAE), the proposed model provides around 9% to 14% improvement in forecasting accuracy compared to an artificial neural network (ANN) model, and nearly 17% improvement on a third dataset which is from a newly-built wind farm for which there is a limited amount of training data.
Design and development of efficient and accurate feature descriptors is critical for the success of many computer vision applications. This paper proposes a new feature descriptor, referred to as ...DoN, for the 2D palmprint matching. The descriptor is extracted for each point on the palmprint. It is based on the ordinal measure which partially describes the difference of the neighboring points' normal vectors. DoN has at least two advantages: 1) it describes the 3D information, which is expected to be highly stable under commonly occurring illumination variations during contactless imaging; 2) the size of DoN for each point is only one bit, which is computationally simple to extract, easy to match, and efficient to storage. We show that such 3D information can be extracted from a single 2D palmprint image. The analysis for the effectiveness of ordinal measure for palmprint matching is also provided. Four publicly available 2D palmprint databases are used to evaluate the effectiveness of DoN, both for identification and the verification. Our method on all these databases achieves the state-of-the-art performance.
As a result of climate change and rapid urbanization, urban waterlogging commonly caused by rainstorm, is becoming more frequent and more severe in developing countries. Urban waterlogging sometimes ...results in significant financial losses as well as human casualties. Accurate waterlogging depth prediction is critical for early warning system and emergency response. However, the existing hydrological models need to obtain more abundant hydrological data, and the model construction is complicated. The waterlogging depth prediction technology based on object detection model are highly dependent on image data. To solve the above problem, we propose a novel approach based on Temporal Convolutional Networks and Long Short-Term Memory networks to predicting urban waterlogging depth with Waterlogging Monitoring Station. The difficulty of data acquisition is small though Waterlogging Monitoring Station and TCN-LSTM model can be used to predict timely waterlogging depth. Waterlogging Monitoring Station is developed which integrates an automatic rain gauge and a water gauge. The rainfall and waterlogging depth can be obtained by periodic sampling at some areas with Waterlogging Monitoring Station. Precise hydrological data such as waterlogging depth and rainfall collected by Waterlogging Monitoring Station are used as training samples. Then training samples are used to train TCN-LSTM model, and finally a model with good prediction effect is obtained. The experimental results show that the difficulty of data acquisition is small, the complexity is low and the proposed TCN-LSTM hybrid model can properly predict the waterlogging depth of the current regional. There is no need for high dependence on image data. Meanwhile, compared with machine learning model and RNN model, TCN-LSTM model has higher prediction accuracy for time series data. Overall, the low-cost method proposed in this study can be used to obtain timely waterlogging warning information, and enhance the possibility of using existing social networks and traffic surveillance video systems to perform opportunistic waterlogging sensing.
Highly active and stable oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalysts are crucial for the large‐scale application of proton exchange membrane water electrolyzers. However, the dynamic reconfiguration of ...the catalyst surface structure and active centers is still undefined, which greatly hinders the development and application of efficient OER catalysts. Herein, we report an Ir0.3Ru0.7Ox/C catalyst with a facile low‐temperature synthesis route, which can reach 10 mA cm−2 at an overpotential of 217 mV with a Tafel slope as low as 39.4 mV dec−1, and yields a mass activity 61 times that of commercial IrO2/C at an overpotential of 300 mV. The lattice oxygen structure of RuOx is stabilized by the introduction of Ir species, thus greatly promoting the OER activity and durability. Further in situ Raman reveals that RuOx emerges as the active species at high potentials, and Ru−O bonding interactions are enhanced with Ir regulation, stabilizing the solvation of Ru at high potentials and accelerating the nucleophilic attack of water molecules, leading to the improved OER performance. This work deepens the fundamental understanding of OER and offers an effective way to advance the utilization of Ru‐based OER catalysts.
Ru−O bonding interactions are enhanced via Ir regulation, stabilizing the solvation of RuOx at high potentials, thus greatly improving the activity and stability towards OER.
