The reorganization of the astronomical community during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, due to the rise of astrophysics, was seen by some scientists as an opportunity to join an ...international community of prestigious researchers. This was the case of astronomers such as Josep Comas i Solà, who publicly argued with Eugène Michel Antoniadi during the first decades of the twentieth century about the veracity of astronomical observations and theoretical conclusions on Mars and Jupiter. Their priority claims and public disputes have to be understood in a new context that provided an exceptional opportunity for amateur and professional astronomers both to play an active role in the most interesting scientific debates of these years and to gain prestige, legitimacy and power.
The world is undergoing a process of structural transformation in multiple dimensions: technological, economic, cultural, and institutional. This creates as many opportunities as it induces perils. ...Perhaps the most fundamental problem we now face is the crisis of political institutions in charge of managing the transition. We know the problems, we understand the issues, and in many countries there is enough political will to tackle the questions to be addressed. However, the organizational and institutional tools of governance are either insufficient or inadequate. Furthermore, the crisis of governance is related to a crisis of political legitimacy, characterized by increasing distance between citizens and their representatives. Both crises feed into each other, threatening with political paralysis and opening the way both for authoritarian policies and for demagogic revolts.
Numerical simulation of the mould filling process is a very important aspect of casting computer aided engineering technology. However, it is time consuming; it may take a day, or even several days. ...This study tries to reduce the computational time of mould filling simulation by the even/uneven complex finite difference method (FDM) mesh technology. First, this paper introduces a mathematical model of the mould filling process. Then, the even FDM mesh technology, the uneven FDM mesh technology and the even/uneven complex FDM mesh technology are introduced; this paper also gives the even FDM mesh model and uneven FDM mesh model of a benchmark casting, and comprises the simulation results and computational time of the mould filling simulation by different mesh technologies. Finally, this paper gives an application on a die casting's mould filling simulation using the even/uneven complex FDM mesh technology. The results show that the even/uneven complex FDM mesh technology has the advantages of both even and uneven FDM mesh technologies and thus can reduce the computation time of mould filling simulation efficiently.
Jednom je Wilhelm Dilthey ocijenio da je Matija Vlačić Ilirik u svojoj Clavis Sacrae Scripturae ili u potpunosti usvojio Augustinovu De Doctrina Christiana ili pak iskoristio sve ranije kršćanske ...egzegeze općenito. Cilj je ovoga rada dijelom polemičke naravi: s jedne strane Vlačić često potvrđuje istinitost te Diltheyeve po njega nepovoljne tvrdnje, dok s druge strane kroči inovativnim stopama biblijskih filologa (Gianozzo Manetti, Lorenzo Valla i Desiderius Erasmus) nastojeći reafirmirati i konkretizirati luteranski princip razumijevanja Svetog pisma na temelju strogo imanentnoga, dakle gramatičkoga, ispitivanja. Posljedično, u radu se propituje Clavis Sacrae Scripturae kao konfesionalni, ali istovremeno i slobodno promišljeni ishod gramatičkog i retoričkog kurikula studia humanitatis. To međutim ne vodi k zaključku da Clavis treba i dalje smatrati pothvatom manje cijenjenoga sljedbenika jer su neke Vlačićeve odluke u smislu patrističke tradicije, srednjovjekovne i humanističke egzegeze dosljedno utemeljene na heurističkoj kritici i istinskom hermeneutičkom principu. To čini legitimnim propitivanje o kojem je principu riječ, ili preciznije: na koji način čovjek može primjenjivati filološke alate koji Boga ne lišavaju njegove neprikosnovenosti?

This came in the form of celebrative ...temporary installations commissioned from teams, including among them Odile Decq, Yael Reisner and Peter Cook, Grafton Architects and Urban‐Think Tank. Commemorating the 300th anniversary of the end of the siege of Barcelona, each group of collaborators was asked by the curators, architect Benedetta Tagliabue and theatre director Àlex Ollé, to create a structure that embodied a universal principle, such as diversity, democracy and identity. 종교개혁기념 500주년을 맞아 루터의 생애와 그 신학적 활동에 관하여 2004-2016년까지 발표한 자료들을 정리하면서, 루터의 신학적 흐름에 있어서 특별한 전환점을 살피는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 루터의 활동이 많은 종교개혁선구자들에 비하여 탁월하기도 하지만, 하나님께서 종교개혁의 분위기와 여건을 만들어 간 것으로 평가해야 할 것이다.
루터와 관련된 ...그 동안의 많은 연구들은 벼락사건이나 비텐베르크의 95개조 반박문 혹은 보름스 회의에서의 루터의 자세를 강조한다. 하지만 그의 신학적 변화를 생각할 때, 그의 스승인 슈타우비츠를 만나고 교훈을 받은 것이나 시편 22편 연구 혹은 1520년의 종교개혁 3대 논문들이 더 강조되어야 할 것이다. 그 중에서 가장 중요한 것은 농민전쟁과 에라스무스와의 논쟁이다.
루터가 인문주의자들의 방법을 따랐으나, 그것을 극복하는 중요한 원리가 “오직 성경(sola scriptura)”이라는 자세이고, 이보다 더 중요한 것은 성경공부나 연구를 위한 신학적인 작업이다. 농민전쟁을 거치기 전에 루터는 모든 사람들에게 성경을 보급하여 성경을 읽도록 하는 것을 중요하게 여겼다. 그러나 농민전쟁을 치르면서 모든 사람이 성경을 읽는다고 하더라도 말씀의 이해와 입장의 차이가 난다는 것을 너무나 분명하게 인식하게 되었다. 일반인들에게 성경이 읽혀진다고 그것만으로 충분한 것이 아님은 깨달은 그는 “일반 민중들은 기독교 교리에 대한 지식이 전혀 없고, ”대부분의 전도자들은 가르치기에 부적당하고 무자격하다고 고백한다. 심지어 성도라고 하면서도 가장 기초적인 내용인 주기도문, 사도신경, 십계명조차도 알지 못하기 때문에 이성없는 짐승들 같은 생활을 하면서도 성도의 자유를 남용한다고 진단하면서, 교회를 위하여 가장 중요한 일은 성경을 토대로 기독교 교리의 기초를 만들어 주는 것임을 확신한다. 그래서 루터는 이러한 방향으로 사역을 전개하게 되었기 때문에, 루터의 삶에 있어서 이 사건을 가장 중요한 신학적 전환점으로 평가할 수 있을 것이다.
On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, I need to summarize my studies in 2004 - 2016 and compare with other studies about M. Luther's life and his theological turning points. Although Luther's work is felt to be superior to many of the pioneers of the Reformation, it should be appreciated that God have made the atmosphere and conditions of the Reformation.
Much of the articles on Luther emphasizes Luther's remarks in his life on Thunderbolts, Wittenberg's 95th Rebellion or his speech at Worms. However, considering his theological changes, we have to emphasize the encounter with his mentor Johann von Staupitz, the study of Psalm 22, three articles of Reformation on 1520. The most important of these is the Peasant War and the dispute with Erasmus about “slave will”.
Though he followed the methods of humanists, but the important principle that he overcame the method is the "only Bible" attitude. Before the peasant war, Luther placed great importance on spreading the Bible to everyone and reading the Bible. But after the war he became so clear that everybody has difference in opinion and position.
Just because the Bible is read to the general public is not enough. Because the general people has no knowledge of Christian doctrine, and most evangelists are inadequate and unqualified for teaching. They are called believer, but they have lived like ruthless beasts because they do not even know the most basic content, the Lord's Prayer, the Apostleship, and even the Ten Commandments. So Luther was convinced that the most important thing for the church and believers was to base the Christian doctrine on the Bible.
: In this essay I argue that the following defining principles of Luther's theology can support a pluralistic theology of religions that avoids the pitfalls of Christian fundamentalism and ...postmodernism's debilitating relativism: sola scriptura, extra nos, “In, With, and Under,”“Three Uses of the Law,”“Two Realms,”“the hidden and revealed God,” and theologia crucis. A Lutheran can be a pluralist, too, and in the twenty‐first century, ought to be.
