In our work, we derived the fractional order q-integrals and q-derivatives concerning a basic analogue to the Aleph-function of two variables (AFTV). We discussed a related application and the ...q-extension of the corresponding Leibniz rule. Finally, we presented two corollaries concerning the basic analogue to the I-function of two variables and the basic analogue to the Aleph-function of one variable.
In this paper, we present a second partial solution for the problem of cardinality calculation of the set of fractals for its subcategory of the random virtual ones. Consistent with the deterministic ...case, we show that for the given quantities of the Hausdorff dimension and the Lebesgue measure, there are aleph-two virtual random fractals with, almost surely, a Hausdorff dimension of a bivariate function of them and the expected Lebesgue measure equal to the latter one. The associated results for three other fractal dimensions are similar to the case given for the Hausdorff dimension. The problem remains unsolved in the case of non-Euclidean abstract fractal spaces.
In this review, we present the philosophical blog “Cafe Aleph” (https://marciszewski.eu), which was founded by Witold Marciszewski in collaboration with Paweł Stacewicz. The blog contains numerous ...expert entries on issues from the border of philosophy, science and technology. “Cafe Aleph” is an area for developing, popularizing and discussing the idea of philosophy of computing.
Paulo Coelho's Aleph is a novel about 'time' and the human experience of time via Aleph, a magical point in the universe that renders possible time travel into the era of the Spanish Inquisition to ...witness the tragic process of condemning a group of young girls to death. The novel is also reminiscent of its precursor, 'The Aleph,' a short story by Jorge Luis Borges. In this essay, I briefly examine Coelho's novel in respect to Borges's short story and the Greek and Judeo-Christian conceptions of time. More extensively, I probe the complexity of Coelho's depiction of time, the two modes of Aleph, and the experience of time and reincarnation by drawing upon Gilles Deleuze's two diverse, albeit intersecting, approaches to time and its dimensions: the Chronos and Aion conceptions of time and the three syntheses of past, present, and future. As the novel delineates the contours of a shared experience of time by a Christian author and a young Muslim musician, I investigate how Aleph, in Coelho's novel, functions as a perennial symbol of convergence and compassion among the followers of ostensibly irreconcilable religions.
Amid a weeding project, librarians at a state college suspected GreenGlass's circulation data was inaccurate. This study compared GreenGlass's and Aleph's circulation statistics for a random sample ...of books. It also determined if GreenGlass's list of books with zero uses included curriculum related works using keyword searching. The study compared GreenGlass's and due date slips' circulation data for curriculum related titles. Some GreenGlass circulation data was erroneous. Additionally, curriculum related books that circulated were on GreenGlass's zero use list. The study's results helped retain pertinent titles and highlighted the inadequacy of relying exclusively on circulation data to weed monographs.
This paper presents an interface for poetry that has been developed at the Laboratory of Front Poetics (http://labfront.tk). LabFront is a research group registered at CNPq (Brazil) and certified by ...the State University of Minas Gerais. As one of our activities at LabFront, the development of the poetic system called “Aleph” is a reminder of the homonymous tale by Jorge Luiz Borges, which presents the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet as its protagonist. Aleph would be the point where everything would be contained. Based on this idea, one of the LabFront teams started to make a code for deconstructing poems and to generate a sound expression different from linear reading. In this work I will start by presenting the relationship of this system with the avant-gardes of the twentieth century, and later I will explain how it works in its current implementation.
