U radu se analizira emisija formaldehida (FE) iz različitih tipova ploča iverica, ploča vlaknatica srednje gustoće (MDF) i furnirskih ploča nabavljenih od komercijalnih proizvođača u Republici ...Češkoj. Emisija
formaldehida određena je primjenom dviju metoda – analize plinova (EN 717-2) i male europske komore (EN 717-1). Istraživanja su pokazala signifi kantan utjecaj proizvodnih parametara ploča (vrste i debljine ploča) i vrste upotrijebljenoga formaldehidnog ljepila na emisiju formaldehida mjerenu metodom analize plinova. Analizom uzoraka za koje je upotrijebljen E1 tip ljepila dobiven je širok raspon vrijednosti količine slobodnog formaldehida za tri vrste proizvoda. Vrijednosti FE furnirskih ploča niže su od vrijednosti uzoraka ploča iverica i MDF ploča. Korelacija rezultata dobivenih dvjema različitim metodama dobra je za ploče iverice i MDF ploče (R2 = 0,82 i 0,76), međutim, za furnirske ploče korelacija nije uvjerljiva (R2 = 0,52). FE vrijednosti dobivene metodom prema normi EN 717-2 usporedive su s vrijednostima dobivenim metodom prema normi EN 717-1 za istu vrstu ploče i jednake debljine te za istu vrstu ljepila i razinu emisije formaldehida nižu od razreda E1.
One of the main problems related to the design of suspension bridges is stabilisation of their initial form. The tendency of suspension bridges to deform is generally determined by the kinematical ...displacements of the suspension cable caused by asymmetrical loads rather than by the elastic deformations. There are some suspension bridges when the so-called rigid (stiff in bending) cables instead of usual flexible cables are suggested for stabilisation of their initial form. The analysis methods of such suspension bridges with rigid cables are underdeveloped. For the analysis of classical suspension bridges analytical models can be applied. However, in case of concentrated forces, the numerical techniques are preferred. The article presents analytical expressions for the calculation of internal forces and displacements of suspension bridges with a rigid cable. The article also discusses the discrete calculation model for classical suspension bridges.

i važnosti problematike kojom se bavi. Bibliometrijska analiza provedena u ovom
istraživanju pokazuje specifičnosti u znanstvenom komuniciranju praćenjem razvoja
časopisa Sociologija sela / Sociologija i prostor kroz različite oblikovne karakteristike:
rubrike u časopisu, oblike članaka, autorstvo, adrese autora, ali i kroz analize citiranih
publikacija (9.563 citirana izvora) u 676 članaka. Citatne analize pokazale su određenu
važnost knjiga i poglavlja u knjigama u odnosu na članke u časopisima, oko 42%
(35% autorske knjige i 7% poglavlja u knjigama), ali značajno manju u usporedbi s
dosadašnjim istraživanjima na međunarodnoj razini (Nederhof, 2006.). Medijan starosti
citiranih članaka iz časopisa bio je približno sedam godina, dok je za knjige bio deset
godina. Medijan citiranih referenci po članku značajno se povećao u razdoblju 1998.-
2012. godine, od 6 u razdoblju 1963.-1997. na 22. Citatnim analizama istražena je i
komunikabilnost autora objavljenih članaka i njihova otvorenost prema relevantnim
međunarodnim časopisima. Analiza citiranosti radova iz ovog časopisa prema
podacima baze WoS pruža uvid u njegovu međunarodnu vidljivost.
The designing of R/C framed structures subjected to seismic excitation generally is performed by linear elastic method, while current trend of codes of practice is moving toward increasing emphasis ...on evaluating the structures using non-linear static pushover (NSP) approaches. Recently, several NSP approaches, with varying degree of vigor and success, have been proposed. In this study, initially a comparative study has been made among different non-linear static methods for adopting the most suitable method of extracting the capacity curve of R/C framed structures. Then, a program was developed to overcome the difficulties of graphical iterative procedure of idealization proposed by FEMA-356. Subsequently, the comparative tool, which is a combination of the detected superior NSP method and the developed program, was used to investigate the effects of significant structural variables on idealized parameters of capacity curves of population of R/C framed structures. Eventually, the applicability of replacing the time-consuming NSP procedure by ANN for deriving the capacity curve was tested. The outcomes demonstrated the outperformance of interstorey-based scaling adaptive pushover in addition to high precision of the developed program. Furthermore, the distinct effects of each of the considered structural variables on idealized parameters were unveiled. Finally, an acceptable performance of ANN as an alternative to NSP procedure was certified.
Science parks have played an important role in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, growth of knowledge-based companies and in turn economic growth within their regions. In this paper, an ...evaluation system for measuring innovation capability for science parks has been developed, including Innovation Organization Sub-System (IOSS, mainly for high-tech firms), Innovation Support Sub-System (ISSS, e.g., technology intermediaries) and Innovation Environmental Sub-Systems (IESS). Based on the empirical study on Qingdao Science Park (1994-2008), this paper has demonstrated the use of the system for evaluation and measurement of innovation capabilities for a science park. The findings reveal that the evolution law explained by the evaluation system fitted with three components is consistent with the actual evolution process of the Qingdao Science Park. It confirms that this evaluation system bears a good explanatory power for the development of Science Park. In addition, recommendations to improve the capabilities of continuous innovation for science parks are also given. PUBLICATION ABSTRACT
This paper describes the use of Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) as a tool for problem structuring, which is the first phase encompassed in a methodological approach currently under development to ...provide decision support based on Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) in energy planning problems in an urban context. In order to apply the methodology to a real-world problem, a medium sized Portuguese city has been chosen as the decision setting. SSM is used for characterizing as precisely as possible the decision problem context, identifying the main stakeholders and their relations, and discerning the relevant criteria at stake for each one. The effect of uncertainty in a fuzzy Input-Output analysis of water consumption applied to Macedonia This paper reconsiders the reliability of the results obtained by Hristov et al. (2012) from the ...input-output analysis of water consumption, by taking into account the effect of uncertainty inherent in the data. The imprecision and uncertainty is studied within a workable fuzzy environment as introduced by Beynon et al. (2005), where rank reversal is plausible. In addition, the water-intensive structure of the Macedonian economy is investigated by applying Dietzenbacher eigenvector methodology (1992). As suggested in the analysis of Hristov et al. (2012), the water-intensive structure of the economy in Macedonia is confirmed as being mainly focused on agriculture and several industrial sectors, given that rank reversal is absent. Consequently, there is a need to introduce changes in the agricultural production technology as well as the specialization of production in this region.
Ubrzanja i kočenja su potrebna u prometu kako bi se omogućilo vozilu da putuje iz jednog mjesta na drugo. Tijekom vožnje prisutna su bočna ubrzanja, koja djeluju u zavojima. Ubrzanja i kočenja ...prisutni tijekom vožnje su obično u rasponu od jedne petine do jedne trećine maksimalne vrijednosti. U kritičnim i neočekivanim situacijama, ubrzanja i kočenja se povećavaju do maksimalne vrijednosti. Maksimalne vrijednosti ubrzanja i kočenja ovise o hrapavosti tla, tipa tla, kvalitete guma, kvalitete kočnice vozila, itd. Zbog kritičnih i neočekivanih situacija, postoje mnoge nesreće na cestama. U tim slučajevima, ubrzanja ili kočenja dostižu granične vrijednosti i mnogo puta vozilo postaje nekontrolirano. U ovom radu prikazan je sustav za mjerenje i analizu ubrzanja i kočenja u prometu vozila. Ti sustavi su neophodni za analize različitih nesreća u prometu i definiranju maksimalnih ubrzanja, maksimalnih bočnih ubrzanja te maksimalne vrijednosti kočenja u različitim situacijama. U ovom članku su također prikazana praktična mjerenja i analize maksimalnog ubrzanja i kočenja za odabrane automobile, koje su izmjerene na ravnoj cesti, te usporedbe tih mjerenja s podatcima proizvođača i ubrzanja i kočenja izmjerenih na pisti.
The paper is aimed at the analysis of the influence of partial safety factors on the reliability of designing steel members. The reliability assessment of a steel member is based on extensive ...experimental research on real material and geometric characteristics evaluated by samples obtained from frequently manufactured products. Material and geometric characteristics are random variables represented by histograms during the probabilistic assessment of reliability. The random variability of structural dimensions and of material characteristics does not present the only source of uncertainty present during design according to standards. The reliability of steel structures design is also dependent on the partial safety factor values, which are specified by the design standards. Partial safety factors are basic indicators, which determine structural dimensions in relation to loading. The probabilistic assessment of reliability is performed as a parametric study in the first part of the numerical analysis. The probability of failure is analysed in dependence on values of partial safety factors of material, permanent loading and long time variable loading. Partial safety factors are considered as fuzzy numbers with triangular membership functions in the second part of the numerical analysis. Membership functions of failure probability are evaluated using the general extension principle. The most important results are then summarised and additional applications of the verifications of limit states design criteria are described.
