Brancusi's 1938 Gate of the Kiss, initially designed during or shortly after World War I, revolutionized the design of war memorials. Its human scale, overall simplicity, and symbolic imagery are ...designed to put an end to the tradition of triumphal arches and, by extension, wars and their destructiveness.
When people talk about transition, must be considered the reason for this. They can not say that a transition to a desired state, if all goes well, but certainly they can say that the transition to ...democracy in communist states was wanted. For the transition to work, the communism had to disappear. Were launched various theories about the collapse of communism, the fall was due to an overvaluation of power by the West; Gorbachev's bad governance; the state's economic implosion. This last hypothesis believe that the state -- do not understand that the only factor that led to the fall of the totalitarian -- on the basis of communism and the disintegration of the Soviet Union.
In this paper, the authors intend to analyze the causality between education and economic growth. In Romania, and also, in other states it exists a positive relationship between investment and growth ...in education. The education contributes to revenue growth to an individual and it is strongly correlated with the reduction of poverty, illiteracy and income inequality. To perform this analysis we used statistical data available to the national Institute of Statistics of Romania and on other sites in the field. They offered an insight into Romanian education evolution and on the education budget. In this context, it should be noted that Romanian education is situated on track development, involved and overcome recession and also it is a major factor in the economic growth of a country in the developing world.

The term archetype may be defined as the original model of things and represents “an inventory of human experiences, but also of the experience accumulated by lower forms of animal life”, manifested ...as “symbolic elements in dreams, in the hallucinations of mad people, in myths, in folk legends. It also operates as forms or schemata organizing individual experience” (Encyclopaedia 2004, 62).Despina Petecel Theodoru notices that each creative phenomenon is ultimately based on two or three antique concepts which act as a matrix: mimesis (imitation)2 and arché (the archetype), whose sole purpose is alétheia (the truth) (Petecel 2003, 1).This is the foundation of an important orientation in the cultural life of the 20th century – archetypalism –, displayed in many branches of art (music, painting, sculpture, philosophy, literature).

Cros recalls that Duchamp went to great, even obsessive lengths (he ransacked, for example, the stationery shops of Paris in order to find paper that matched the stock of his original notes) to build ...his museum-in-a-suitcase called Box in a Valise. Part of the allure of Duchamp's biography is his ubiquitous nonpresence; he seems to be ever-involved with members of the historical avant-gardes (Francis Picabia, Andre Breton, Constantin Brancusi, Tristan Tzara, Salvador DaIi, Man Ray, Kurt Schwitters, Alfred Stieglitz, etc.) and yet always resolutely a loner. ...for Williams scholars and enthusiasts, there are many useful, illuminating details about New York Dada in Cros's Marcel Duchamp, but I think very little else of immediate research value.

Far from being the unlettered, divinely inspired peasant Brancusi was imagined to be by some of his critics, he listened attentively to the words of his early friends and read the works of others.
Hal Foster notes that postwar culture in the United States and Western Europe is informed "by neos and posts." Beginning in the early 1960s, numerous artists have consistently engaged in the recovery ...of prewar avant-garde practices. Often interfacing diametrically opposed models within a single work, they have thus contrived "an almost Borgesian array of predecessors," from Marcel Duchamp and Constantin Brancusi to Vladimir Tatlin and Aleksandr Rodchenko.
