By introducing the IFLA Library Reference Model, the significance of authority control is constantly increasing as authority data will play a key role in the linked data network. Consequently, the ...preparation of authority data will help when implementing IFLA LRM and will prove useful during the transition to RDA (Resource Description and Access). The overview of authority data situation in the COBISS.net system with the focus on the Slovenian COBISS.SI system is presented. In addition to this, the options of further development of authority records are indicated. The situation in CONOR.SI and SGC authority databases as well as the enrichment of authority records for personal names and for corporate body names with identifiers are described. Additionally, plans for the transition to a new catalogue based on the IFLA LRM conceptual model are indicated.
Abstract
Aiming at the module heat dissipation problem of a military domestic LRM mode server, a thermal design which can improve the module cooling efficiency and equipment integration is proposed. ...The design can realize the easy heat dissipation and high integration of on-board equipment. Through the design of fan device, module cooling and heat pipe, the heat dissipation efficiency of the server was improved, and the heat dissipation capacity of the module was improved. Thus the integration degree of on-board equipment was improved. The designed server was thermally analyzed and tested at + 65 °C. By comparing the experimental results with the thermal analysis results, the conclusion proved the correctness and feasibility of the research content in this paper.
Since the publication of the Functional Requirementes for Bibliographic Records (FRBR) in 1998, the world’s leading experts on cataloguing cartographic resources have questioned the possibilities of ...applying the conceptual model to cartography. They tried to understand how cartographic resources could be treated in the context of an entity-relationship model, focusing on the possibilities of applying Group 1 entities and FRBR’s relations to cartography. The debate that followed led to the establishment of conflicting positions. Many of the criticisms made to FRBR also apply to IFLA Library Reference Model (IFLA LRM), the new conceptual model, published in 2017. While showing some improvements it seems to fit forcibly into the description of cartographic resources.

Gully erosion is one of the most intense landscape degradation mechanisms in areas with varying environmental characteristics. Both natural and anthropogenic factors affect the gullying process. Reliable documentation of these processes in tropical African cities is scarce. This study assessed the gully erosion dynamic and the susceptibility factors in the urban watershed of Kimemi in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Data were obtained through a combination of fieldwork and digitization of very high spatial resolution images from Google Earth (from 2011 to 2021). The length, width, and area of large gullies (width ≥ 5 m) were measured for each year of the study. A logistic regression model (LRM) was also used to investigate the influence of both physical and anthropogenic factors on gully susceptibility. The results revealed that the number of gullies has increased from 36 to 61 during the last decade. The gully mean length of 63.9 ± 61.1 m, 129.3 ± 104.9 m, and 174.7 ± 153.8 m were obtained for the years 2011, 2015, and 2021 respectively. The average density of gully network for the study period was 0.12 km/km², while the degraded land was ∼1.3 and ∼1.1 ha/year for 2011–2015 and 2015–2021 for the entire watershed. The significant changes in morphometric parameters (length, width, area) were found only in the bare land and building land uses. A strong and positive relationship between the length (m) and the area (ha) was found. Furthermore, the susceptibility of gullying was significantly influenced by the slope, stream power index (SPI), distance to roads and rivers, land use and land cover (LULC), and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). This means the areas located in the bare land and building or close to roads and/or streams are more likely to be gullied. The findings emphasize the impact of urbanization on gully erosion in the Kimemi watershed, highlighting the importance of informed land management decisions with a close attention to anthropogenic factors.

Objetivo: objetiva-se propor a harmonização entre os modelos EDM, BIBFRAME e IFLA LRM, com o propósito de analisar a equivalência de entidades para possibilitar a interoperabilidade entre sistemas ...que utilizam como base esses modelos conceituais.
Método: esta pesquisa se caracteriza como de natureza exploratória e descritiva com abordagem qualitativa, na qual utiliza-se do levantamento bibliográfico para a identificação dos estudos já realizados a respeito da temática. Além disso, para a análise de entidades, pauta-se na metodologia fundamentada por Pierre et al. (1999), Taniguchi (2018), Arakaki (2019) e Carrasco (2019).
Resultados: a partir da análise dos modelos, foram identificadas seis categorias ontológicas de entidades: (i) Conteúdo Intelectual; (ii) Assunto; (iii) Unidade Concreta; (iv) Agente; (v) Espaço-tempo, e (vi) Reificação. Observou-se equivalências consistentes entre as entidades, suas funcionalidades e terminologia na maior parte das categorias, tendo como exceção as entidades da categoria Conteúdo Intelectual e a estruturação da categoria Unidade Concreta.
Conclusões: conclui-se que a diferença mais notável entre os modelos se expressa na categoria Conteúdo Intelectual, e que o IFLA LRM e o BIBFRAME por serem modelos fundamentados na tradição catalográfica têm entidades funcionalmente equivalentes, ao passo que o EDM, como modelo voltado ao objeto de patrimônio cultural em si, não possui nenhuma entidade que possa ser mapeada nessa categoria, Outrossim,constatou-se há uma diferença estrutural na categoria Unidade Concreta, onde o EDM faz uma distinção entre o objeto em si e sua representação digital, ao passo que nos modelos IFLA LRM e BIBFRAME, tal distinção ocorre na categoria Conteúdo Intelectual.
Electrical load forecasting has become a very important task for the management and planning of electrical energy. Several methods have been developed in the literature to solve this task, but ...researchers continue to search for a stable model that minimizes the prediction error as much as possible. In this article, we propose a hybrid model of artificial intelligence and statistical methods, designed from an optimization algorithm for hourly forecasts of electricity over a period of one week. To do this, we started with a comparative study of predictions with models of artificial neural networks (ANN), multiple linear regression (LRM) and Holt exponential smoothing (HES). Then we retained the best parameters of each model to design our hybrid model (ANN-LRM-HES). The results obtained by each model are considered acceptable in view of the statistical indicators. These results show that apart from Deep Learning techniques which offer excellent results the hybrid model (ANN-LRM-HES) provides the best prediction results, followed by the ANN, LRM and HES models respectively. From the comparative study it emerges that the proposed hybrid model outperformed most similar models in the literature on the subject, obtaining statistically significant precision values.

This paper proposes a novel hybrid network named multiple-feature-branch convolutional bidirectional recurrent neural network (MFB-CBRNN) for myocardial infarction (MI) detection using 12-lead ECGs. ...The model efficiently combines convolutional neural network-based and recurrent neural network-based structures. Each feature branch consists of several one-dimensional convolutional and pooling layers, corresponding to a certain lead. All the feature branches are independent from each other, which are utilized to learn the diverse features from different leads. Moreover, a bidirectional long short term memory network is employed to summarize all the feature branches. Its good ability of feature aggregation has been proved by the experiments. Furthermore, the paper develops a novel optimization method, lead random mask (LRM), to alleviate overfitting and implement an implicit ensemble like dropout. The model with LRM can achieve a more accurate MI detection. Class-based and subject-based fivefold cross validations are both carried out using Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt diagnostic database. Totally, there are 148 MI and 52 healthy control subjects involved in the experiments. The MFB-CBRNN achieves an overall accuracy of 99.90% in class-based experiments, and an overall accuracy of 93.08% in subject-based experiments. Compared with other related studies, our algorithm achieves a comparable or even better result on MI detection. Therefore, the MFB-CBRNN has a good generalization capacity and is suitable for MI detection using 12-lead ECGs. It has a potential to assist the real-world MI diagnostics and reduce the burden of cardiologists.
The two bibliographical models currently informing the design of systems for the representation of bibliographical data – the IFLA Library Reference Model (IFLA‐LRM) and BIBFRAME 2.0 – do not ...seamlessly map onto one another. In particular, there are conceptual problems in mapping between the bibliographical entity BIBFRAME:Work and its counterparts, IFLA‐LRM:Work and IFLA‐LRM:Expression. To mitigate these difficulties, we argue for applying a set‐theoretical framework to the mapping between BIBFRAME:Work and IFLA‐LRM:Work and IFLA‐LRM:Expression.
Low-reflectance material (LRM) on the surface of Mercury is thought to be darkened by 2-7 wt.% carbon, making Mercury's surface the most carbon-rich among the terrestrial planets, but the origin of ...this carbon is debated. We observe exposures of LRM within large impact basins, which naturally sample Mercury's outer layers, to produce the first observationally constrained estimate of the absolute quantity of carbon present in Mercury's shallow interior. We observe LRM and other spectrally distinct material associated with craters within large basins and use scaling laws to relate these observations to the stratigraphy and composition of the subsurface. We find that many large basins across Mercury's surface have thick layers of LRM in their subsurface. Based on inferences regarding the thickness of these layers, we estimate the absolute quantity of carbon present in Mercury's crust and upper mantle to be at least 1.8×1019−2.3×1020 kg, which permits evaluation of hypotheses as to its origin. This quantity rules out the hypothesis that carbon near Mercury's surface was delivered during late accretion of carbon-rich material, with implications for the delivery of carbon and volatiles to the terrestrial planets. It is also only marginally compatible with a magma ocean origin. Therefore, if Mercury's core and mantle equilibrated with respect to carbon, we infer that Mercury was probably carbon-saturated early in its evolution and that carbon is an abundant light element in its core, with important implications for Mercury's thermal and geological evolution.
