Although the Brdy Protected Landscape Area is located not far from Prague on the border between central and western Bohemia, there was very little published and unpublished data on its aquatic ...malacofauna. For this reason, a more detailed survey of aquatic molluscs was carried out in 2020–2022. Altogether with previous data, 27 species were found at 108 studied sites, including springs, small streams, fishponds, pools, and wetlands. The low species diversity is related to not very suitable natural conditions. The occurrences of only 1–2 species of aquatic molluscs were found at 72 out of 108 studied sites. Two species (Radix labiata, Pisidium casertanum) are typical for nutrient-poor habitats. The more rich molluscan assemblages were detected only in the peripheral parts of the Brdy Mts. and/or in the Padrť region with numerous fishponds and associated wetlands. Most (18) of the detected species belong to common and widespread molluscs. Three non-native species (Physa acuta, Ferrissia californica, Sinanodonta woodiana) were found.

In marine integrated power systems (IPS), dc/dc converters have been widely used to buffer the power of pulsed loads. However, limited by ship space and safety, its buffering capacity and volume are ...conflicting and need to be balanced. Existing methods usually oversimplify the switching dynamic process caused by the different switching periods between the pulsed loads and converters, leading to oversizing or underpowering issues of the converts. To overcome this hurdle, this article proposes a millisecond-time-scale-based state-space averaging mode (MTS-SSAM) to analyze the dynamic process by taking pulsed loads period instead of the traditional converter period as the averaging operator. Based on MTS-SSAM, taking the system allowable voltage and current fluctuation rate and converter volume as the objective function, the converters' parameters are optimized considering the balance between buffering capacity and volume. The proposed parameters optimization method can save 49% converter volume compared with existing methods. The simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the proposed SSAM and optimization method.
A metasurface (MTS) antenna is proposed for low-profile and wideband operation based on characteristic mode analysis (CMA). An MTS radiator formed by a diamond-slotted patch is fed by a microstrip ...line at its bottom through a slot centered on a ground plane. The CMA is used for the modeling, analysis, and optimization of the proposed antenna in order to reveal the underlying modal behaviors of the MTS and to guide the mode excitation. It is found that an extraordinary quisiTM30 MTS mode and a slot mode both with wideband broadside radiation are formulated and well excited simultaneously, leading to a broadband operation. Empirical equations are outlined for speeding up design. To verify the concept, a 2 × 2 array with the overall size of 1.78λ 0 × 1.78λ 0 × 0.07λ 0 (λ 0 is the free-space wavelength at 5.5 GHz) is designed and prototyped at 5-GHz Wi-Fi bands. The achieved impedance bandwidth for 10-dB return loss is 31% with the gain of 13-14.5 dBi over the operating bandwidth.
A compact metasurface (MTS) antenna with a dimension of 20 mm × 20 mm consisting of non‐uniform fractional meta‐unit (n‐MTS) cells has been proposed in this article. The n‐MTS shows distinctive ...electromagnetic characteristics compared to conventional MTS, that is, the E‐field surface waves on the n‐MTS are singularly co‐extending in nature, exhibiting an e‐TM30 mode (e—extraordinary). The higher order modes with n‐MTS significantly improves the antenna resonant properties at (5–6) GHz Wi‐Fi band. The potential improvement in antenna modal parameters are showcased with numerical approach for validations in proximity to the theoretical quantitative metrics. A MTS antenna array configuration of dimension 40 mm × 40 mm with a RF power‐divider feeding arrangement has been proposed, operating at dual‐bands (5.45, 6.4 GHz) with radiation gain >8 dBi and radiation efficiency >80% (at dual‐bands). The unit cell n‐MTS configuration has sharp resonances and unique meta‐parameters are achieved at operating frequency, enabling existence of higher‐order mode in a low‐profile and proliferates for compact antenna design embodiment. The prototype antennas are fabricated and measured, which shows good correlation between simulation and test results, to be implemented in Wi‐Fi applications.
Based on the 1945 Law, article 31 paragraph one states that every citizen has the right to be taught. So that every educational institution is obliged to provide services under any conditions, ...including in emergencies such as Covid-19. One solution to overcome this problem is to develop all learning media such as e-learning. With the existence of learning media through e-learning, it is hoped that the learning process will continue to run normally. The problem as mentioned certainly occurs in MTs. Negeri Bumiayu is one of the schools in Musi Banyuasin Regency. To achieve the goal to overcome these problems, namely developing e-learning using the Codeigniter framework and Prototyope model. The results of the development show that the e-learning produced has features that can overcome the learning process well as evidenced by e-learning features such as materials and tasks in the learning process.

Character learning materials, especially the character values are the integration of values within the formal curriculum and Sufi based Islamic Boarding School typical curriculum. The materials are organized through the process of determining the material, structuring the order, constructing analogy, and summarizing the contents of character learning. Various interactive, collaborative and learning media are used, so that the transfer process of character learning material is easily understood and practiced in daily life. In order to ensure that the organization and the process of learning provision are more optimal, the character learning regulation is carried out by a 24-hour scheduling process followed by a continuous process of monitoring, motivational management, and supervision.
•More than 100 papers are reviewed concerning onboard Decision Support Systems.•Collaboration networks of authors and countries are elaborated.•Most of Decision Support Systems remain on relatively ...low Technology Readiness Level.•The cooperation between academia and industry in the field of Decision Support Systems is unsatisfactory.
Maritime transport faces new safety-related challenges resulting from constantly increasing traffic density, along with increasing dimensions of ships. Consequently, the number of new concepts related to Decision Support Systems (DSSs) supporting safe shipborne operations in the presence of reduced ship manning is rapidly growing, both in academia and industry. However, there is a lack of a systematic description of the state-of-the-art in this field. Moreover, there is no comprehensive overview of the level of technology readiness of proposed concepts. Therefore, this paper presents an analysis aiming at (1) increasing the understanding of the structure and contents of the academic field concerned with this topic; (2) determining and mapping scientific networks in this domain; (3) analyzing and visualizing Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of analyzed systems. Bibliometric methods are utilized to depict the domain of onboard DSSs for operations focused on safety ensurance and accident prevention. The scientific literature is reviewed in a systematic way using a comparative analysis of existing tools. The results indicate that there are relatively many developments in selected DSS categories, such as collision avoidance and ship routing. However, even in these categories some issues and gaps still remain, so further improvements are needed. The analysis indicates a relatively low level of technology readiness of tools and concepts presented in academic literature. This signifies a need to move beyond the conceptual stages toward demonstration and validation in realistic, operating environments.
