The finding of the only photography that we know of her allows to value again the former testimonies and to approach some details of his paleography and of his datation.
Compiling essentially funerary inscriptions (110 epitaphs), the corpus of unedited inscritions from Limissa presented here comprises in a first part publics inscriptions which allow to examine ...municipal status evolution. In annexe 1, one will find 4 inscriptions preserved in Ksar Lemsa and coming from around ; annexe 2 presents photographs of inscriptions of Limissa already published in CIL VIII and Année épigraphique.
Constitué en majorité d'inscriptions funéraires (110 épitaphes), le corpus des inscritions inédites cfe Limisa regroupées ici renferme dans une première partie des textes publics qui permettent de tracer l'évolution municipale de la cité. En appendice 1, on trouvera quatre inscriptions conservées à Ksar Lemsa et provenant de la région ; l'appendice 2 présente les photographies des inscriptions du site déjà publiées dans le CIL VIII et l'Année épigraphique.
Le programme de recherche mis en place, en 1991, sur le site de Monterfil II à Corseul (Fanum Martis), a permis l'achèvement de l'étude d'un bâtiment commercial donnant sur la principale rue de la ...ville antique. Ces recherches ont également permis d'aborder, sur une superficie limitée, un nouvel édifice livrant dans son niveau de destruction deux fragments jointifs d'une inscription, dédicace d'un probable notable coriosolite.
The program of research, realised in 1991 on the site of Monterfil II in the roman town of Corseul (Fanum Martis), has permitted the completion of the study of a commercial building along the principal street of the town. This research has also permitted to find, only on a limited surface, a new building. Its destruction level has given two pièces of a roman inscription, dedication of a probable notable.
