The main objective of this research is to study the influence of AI on skill development programs, and its impact on employability in Andhra Pradesh in India. To actualize this research, the data ...were gathered from 125 students/graduates on their responses to the questionnaire. In this research, the factors, such as crucial thinking skills, advanced AI technology; communication skills, and interpersonal skills are considered. Additionally, the analysis is done by employing the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for acquired data. This findings of this research have implications for skill development programs and AI adoption for employability.
Bu araştırmanın amacı, duygusal zekâ ve dijital okuryazarlık arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklem grubu, 2022-2023 Eğitim Öğretim Yılında ...Türkiye’de farklı üniversitelerde öğrenim gören, kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 568 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği ve Dijital Okuryazarlık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS v26 ile analiz edilmiştir. Anlamlı farklılığı belirlemek için Post-Hoc tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğrencilerin duygusal zekâ düzeyi cinsiyet, aile tipi, yaş ve internette geçirilen saat açısından farklılaşmazken, duygusal düzenleme boyutunun internette geçirilen saate göre farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin dijital okuryazarlık becerileri cinsiyete göre farklılaşırken, aile tipi, yaş ve internette geçirilen saat açısından farklılaşmamıştır. Duygusal zekâ ile dijital okuryazarlık arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Duygusal zekânın dijital okuryazarlığı anlamlı olarak yordadığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları literatür ile uyumlu olup, duygusal zekâ ve dijital okuryazarlık becerilerinin geliştirilmesi için öneriler sunulmuştur.
This paper is concerned with the nonfragile H ∞ control problem for discrete-time fast sampling Markovian jump singularly perturbed nonlinear systems described by the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. By ...utilizing singular perturbation theory, a singular perturbation parameter (SPP) independent, i.e., ε-independent, condition is derived to make sure the underlying closed-loop system's stability and a mixed H ∞ and passive performance γ, simultaneously. The ill-conditioned case caused by SPP could be eliminated on the basis of such a condition. With the aid of the stochastic analysis approach, the desired controller gains can be obtained, where the nonfragile property is fully considered to improve the tolerance of controller. Furthermore, a technique is developed to estimate the upper bound of SPP ε in this paper by employing a useful inequality. The availability and practicability of the proposed design method are finally explained via a practical example of a tunnel diode circuit with a modified model and a numerical example.
Dendrobium palpebrae Lindl. an epiphytic fragrant indigenous orchid species of Bangladesh and distributed in Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam at altitudes of 800 to ...2500 meters. From in vitro growing plantlets, upper and lower part of pseudobulb segments were aseptically cultured on MS medium supplemented with auxins (IAA, IBA, NAA, Picloram) and cytokinins (BAP, Kinetin). In vitro grown pseudobulb segments both upper and lower part directly produced multiple shoot buds via organogenesis. Average highest number of MSBs (8.21 ± 0.44/segment in lower part; 6.43 ± 0.40/segment in upper part) produced on MS medium with 1.0 mg/l NAA + 2.0 mg/l BAP followed by (7.24 ± 0.41/segment in lower part; 5.96 ± 0.37/segment in upper part) MS medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/l Picloram + 2.0 mg/l BAP. Highest individual shoot bud increased length was recorded on agar solidified MS medium with 1.0 mg/l Picloram + 1.0 mg/l BAP (3.76 ± 0.14 cm) followed by liquid MS + 0.5 mg/l NAA + 1.0 mg/l BAP (3.11 ± 0.12 cm) medium. Elongation of shoot bud was better in agar solidified media than liquid condition and MS was found better than PM. Shoot bud derived seedlings were best responses as increase in length as well as the number of roots developed on agar solidified MS with 0.5 mg/l NAA (4.82 ± 0.22 cm/shoot bud and 2.75 ± 0.17 no/shoot bud) followed by MS with 0.5 mg/l IBA supplemented medium (4.49 ± 0.12 cm/shoot bud and 2.57 ± 0.08 no/shoot bud). The Social Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is among the most common programs used by researchers in language studies to explore, examine, and analyze quantitative data for the sake of drawing ...valid conclusions. The current action research aims to offer insights into the utilization of SPSS by Master’s students in their empirical studies for statistical analysis. Specifically, it attempts to depict the way SPSS is employed in academic pursuits, and discern the inherent challenges faced by students, offering insights into the obstacles that may impede their effective use of SPSS as a tool for statistical exploration and interpretation in academic research. To reach these objectives, ten Master’s dissertations written by EFL students at the Department of English at Mouloud Mammeri University in language studies were scrutinized though a qualitative content analysis. Findings indicate that the students limit the scope of their use of SPSS to quantitative variables and descriptive statistics. In addition, it has been found that the most commonly used statistical technique is ‘the mean’ or ‘the average’ that could be easily measured without any sophisticated software. Furthermore, no reference to inferential statistics in order to compare among groups or to measure the impact of a variable on another is made. The overall conclusion drawn from the analysis of the corpus is that students exhibit reluctance to the use of inferential statistics in their empirical studies and unconsciously believe that SPSS, inferential statistics, or any other sophisticated software are tightly related to natural sciences and could not be easily applied in social sciences. On the basis of the findings, a number of recommendations are suggested like organizing workshops with computer scientists. In addition, students’ self-confidence should be increased in order to change their perception of their potential and abilities to feel more at ease with statistics and technologies while doing academic research in language studies.

The aging of the population is becoming an increasingly severe issue. How can we develop caring services for the elderly and promote healthy aging? Investigating care preferences is an essential step ...in addressing this issue. A self-designed questionnaire was employed to collect data online. The impact of personal circumstances on care preferences was ascertained using the chi-squared test and multivariate logistic regression. An optimal parameters-based geographical detector was introduced to examine the influence of spatially heterogeneous regional factors on care preferences. The online survey produced 1178 valid questionnaires. Home-based elderly care was the preference of 91.9% of respondents, followed by community-based care and medical-nursing care; institutional care was the least preferred alternative. Age, education, living style, and health states of the elderly significantly influenced the preferred care option. When compared to home-based elderly care, older respondents (odds ratio OR = 3.776) preferred institutional care, highly educated respondents preferred community-based care (higher education: OR = 5.206; secondary education: OR = 3.049) and medical-nursing care (higher education: OR = 4.484); the elderly living alone (OR = 0.101) excluded institutional care, and the elderly living with their children excluded non-family care method of institutional care (OR = 0.031) and medical-nursing care (OR = 0.391). Regional medical resources and old-age security significantly affect the preferences of the elderly (q-statistic q > 0.5); local economic development significantly affects community-based care (q > 0.6); the availability of financial subsidies significantly affects home-based care and medical-nursing care (q > 0.9); and the availability of institutional resources significantly affects the preference for institutional care (q > 0.8). We found that it is necessary to improve the level of medical care given by non-family members and care facilities, vigorously develop new methods of elderly care, promote humanistic care in non-family care settings, and increase available regional medical resources, financial subsidies, and social security. This study integrates economic and social perspectives to examine and analyze retirement willingness, thereby broadening the scope of social surveys and research methodologies, and offering valuable insights with potential directive implications.
This article investigates the tracking control problem for a class of nonlinear multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) uncertain singularly perturbed systems (SPSs) with full-state constraints. The ...underlying issues become more challenging because two-time-scale characteristics and full state constraints are involved. To this end, first, the adaptive neural network (NN) control method is designed to handle system uncertainties in the design process. Second, the nonlinear state-dependent coordinate transformation functions are employed to avoid the violation of full-state constraints and feasibility conditions for intermediate controllers. Furthermore, by introducing an appropriate <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">\varepsilon </tex-math></inline-formula>-dependent Lyapunov function, the potential ill-conditioned numerical problems in the design process of SPSs are avoided, and the stability of the nonlinear SPSs is proven. Finally, two examples are presented to illustrate the validity of the proposed adaptive NN control scheme.
