Behind the inevitable headlines describing the 'lucky discovery' of the Sinclair Pollucite Deposit by Pioneer Resources in a drilling campaign targeting lithium mineralisation, the identification, ...delineation and development of this resource present a deeper and more substantial tale of fundamental mineral exploration strategy and agile management. A window of opportunity provided by booming global interest in Li exploration delivered Pioneer the impetus and capital to leverage deep geological knowledge of the Pioneer District, innovative exploration technologies, and lean and agile management practices in the development and implementation of a successful exploration campaign targeting the previously unappreciated pegmatites of the Pioneer Dome. While not the target of the original drilling, the intersection of high-grade pollucite at Sinclair was fully consistent with the mineral systems model underlying Pioneer's exploration plan. By pursuing a flexible process-based targeting approach and retaining the capacity to pivot the focus of their exploration team onto this find, Pioneer were able to rapidly define and exploit the pollucite resource at Sinclair, despite the absence of national precedent.
KEY POINTS
The Sinclair pollucite resource is without precedent in Australia.
Discovery of this deposit followed from consistent long-term investment in district mineral exploration.
Responsiveness and rapid decision-making were critical to the successful development of this unexpected discovery.
We present a solution based on blockchain technology and smart contracts for agile project management in light of the continuing transition in the software development industry. Due to the fact that ...these technologies are self-executing, customized, and impervious to tampering, they are considered to be crucial for the transition to a more efficient, transparent, and transactive payment gateway between major stakeholders. These major stakeholders will be able to communicate through smart contracts, which will act as a bridge between them. As part of their responsibility, they will make sure that all of the terms of the contract are met and acknowledged by all members of the team. As a result of our research, we propose a model in which payouts could be automatically enabled and penalties or grants could be introduced based on performance. If any changes were to be made to the contract in the future, all parties involved would be automatically notified. To maintain the development cycle, they should accept these changes as soon as possible. Because of this, the product owner and client are able to concentrate their resources on more profitable and productive tasks, without the need to monitor this aspect of agile project management. Our proposed model brings together different partners with the objective of successfully developing different IT projects by leveraging software engineering solutions such as smart contracts.
The order in which you send your backlog items into construction determines when stakeholders can reap benefits from each piece of functionality. This can substantially impact market timing, ...enterprise earnings, and the project manager survival rate. There are several ways to order a backlog, and sophisticated methods and tools exist to do so-for example, during release planning. But no matter what backlog-ordering scheme you use, you ought to be explicit on the order in which you realize potential business value. To that end, researchers have developed methods to express business value relative to cost in your backlog. They also have devised methods to monitor how much potential business value you're realizing along the way-in addition to the cost expended.
Organizations may examine both past and present data with the aid of information management, giving them access to all the knowledge they need to make sound strategic choices. For the majority of ...contemporary enterprises, using data to make relevant, valid, and timely choices has become a must for success. The volume and format of data have changed significantly over the past few years as a result of the development of new technologies and applications, but there are also impressive possibilities for their analysis and processing. This study offers a bibliometric analysis of 650 publications written by 1977 academics on the use of information management and big data analytics. The Bibliometrix function in the R package and VOSviewer program were used to obtain the bibliographic data from the Scopus database and to analyze it. Based on citation analysis criteria, the top research journals, authors, and organizations were identified. The cooperation network at the author level reveals the connections between academics throughout the world, and Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) identifies the research holes in the area. The recommendations for further study are influenced by the findings.
In recent years some ways of measuring Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) have been proposed. However, there are few mechanisms for managers to assess the quantitative performance of their ...teams’ collaboration. This paper presents Collaborizer, a tool designed to benchmark collaborative work based on Agile principles and generate visual reports. The software’s functionalities involve estimating team collaboration, generating graphs, and providing reports. About Collaborizer’s contributions, we can highlight that its code enables reproduction and the tool allows managers to identify and improve several aspects of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI).
•Collaborizer is a tool that facilitates the management of collaborative work.•The tool generates benchmarking and visual reports.•The system identifies the aspects that affect Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW).•The technology uses the principles of Agile management and Human–Computer Interaction (HCI).•The software is being used in scientific research and has potential business applications.•The code is open-source in Python, for reuse, and has verified reproducibility.
Delivering valuable software to your customer is the first priority in agile management and development. The product owner is involved along the way, and backlogs are prioritized, with the best of ...intentions to maximize business value early and eliminate waste. Yet in many IT development projects, bewilderment remains as to how to express business value in process decisions and the delivered system. Also, projects continue to implement functionality that's off the mark or never used. This situation occurs because there isn't sufficient methodological support to determine and monitor business value or to link business value decisions to the development project's mechanics. However, researchers have developed a bundle of easy-to-use core practices that help systematize a project's evolving knowledge. Although these practices are simple, they provide powerful support for monitoring project progress on both the realized business value and the realized costs.
