Three project management approaches—traditional, agile, and hybrid—were considered in this study. Results from an international study, including 477 cross-industry projects, indicated that 52% of ...projects could be categorized as hybrid approaches. A regression analysis using multiple outcome measures indicated substantial explanatory power (0.21 < R
2 <0.41). Analysis suggested that hybrid and agile approaches significantly increase stakeholder success over traditional approaches while achieving the same budget, time, scope, and quality outcomes. Hybrid approaches were found to be similar in effectiveness to fully agile approaches. Results validate decisions by practitioners to combine agile and traditional practices and suggest that hybrid is a leading project management approach.
In recent years, many researchers have been conducted on batteries' health monitoring and prognostics, mainly focusing on the batteries' state of charge (SOC). Accurately estimating the state of ...health (SOH) and predicting the remaining useful life (RUL) of battery components are very important for the prognosis and health management of the overall battery system. However, due to the non-linear dynamics caused by the electrochemical characteristics in batteries, the accurate estimations of SOC, SOH and RUL prediction are still challenging and many technologies have been developed to solve this challenge. This paper reviews and discusses state of the art in SOC and SOH and RUL estimation techniques for all battery types. A novel framework is developed and presented to compare all battery techniques based on three dimensions: battery performance (Z dimension), approaches (X dimension), and criteria (Y dimension) to fulfil. All studies are reviewed and discussed based on the dimensions and the criteria defined in the framework. Based on this investigation, this study summarizes at the end the key outcomes and suggests future research challenges.

The choice of the most suitable surgical approach to the elbow forms the foundation of any successful elbow surgery. The surgical approach is based on the injury or pathology to be addressed and ...therefore specific anatomical details need to be considered. The surgeon must be comfortable with the bony, ligamentous and neurovascular anatomy of the elbow to consider and execute the best approach for each problem. This is an imperative to avoid iatrogenic injury.
This article provides a detailed analysis, valuable technical tips, advantages and disadvantages of the most common approaches to the elbow. The lateral approaches include the Kocher, Kaplan and Extensor Digitorum Communis (EDC) Split approaches, the medial approaches include the Hotchkiss, Flexor carpi ulnaris (FCU) splitting approach, the Taylor and Scham approach. The anterior approach includes the anterior neurovascular interval approach and the posterior approaches include the Olecranon osteotomy, triceps sparing, triceps reflecting approach and finally the Boyd interval approach. The text and illustrations will provide a structured overview for the practicing surgeon.
