El estudio sistemático del coaching por parte de las ciencias sociales es incipiente, este tipo de objetos (como el management o el marketing) muchas veces es dejado de lado y menospreciado por su ...aparente banalidad, pero ejerce un fuerte poder en la conducción de la conducta de las personas y, al mismo tiempo, se apropian y reformulan conceptos de las teorías sociales más radicales para cumplir con sus propios fines. Los trazos sociohistóricos que aquí se delinean comienzan con una experiencia de exilio en los años setenta, que liga Santiago de Chile con California, EE.UU. Así, la California del 70 será el lugar que logrará reunir a nuestros tres protagonistas para comenzar a esbozar la práctica y la teoría del coaching ontológico, complejizándolas en los 80 y difundiéndolas con mayor éxito, y tal como hoy las conocemos, en la década del 90. Sin embargo, podría decirse que la primera tiene mayor peso intelectual y la segunda, instrumental.

ZusammenfassungSeit 2008 gibt es an der Fakultät für angewandte Sozialwissenschaften der Hochschule München ein Peer-Coaching-Angebot von Studierenden für Studierende im Bachelorstudiengang Soziale ...Arbeit. Im Lauf der Zeit hat es sich ausgeweitet und bewährt, gerade auch in den Pandemie-Semestern. Der Beitrag blickt zurück auf die Entwicklung des Angebots seit seiner Einführung und schlussfolgert, dass es künftig weiter ausgebaut und sich spätestens 2035 als feste Größe im Studium der Hochschule München etabliert haben wird.

This book offers an approach to business and executive coaching that properly aligns the practice in the culture of business through the use of a relational "coaching axis" that helps to manage the ...complexity of the organisation and the individual as dual clients. Business and executive coaching occurs within an organisational context with the goal of promoting success at all levels of the organisation by affecting the actions of those being coached (Worldwide Association of Business Coaches, 2007). This form of coaching is distinct from other types in two ways, firstly it is focused on achieving business outcomes, and secondly, both the individual being coached and the sponsoring organization are simultaneously the client. This book explains how a coach manages the complexity of helping these two clients by acting as a narrative bridge between their stories. It offers a relational approach which resists remedial or curative notions born from coaching's human science roots and instead aligns to workplace realities.
